1. The following vote formats are the de-facto standard on the site (aka votes should be enclosed with vote tags or bold tags. I don't care about caps/spelling/etc.)

3. If it appears to be a vote for a player, I will treat it as a vote for a player. Please don't attempt to fool me or other players with regard to fake votes. Do not put votes in spoiler tags.
   
4. A lynch is achieved when half plus one of the current number of living players are voting for the same player. If this does not occur by deadline, a plurality lynch will occur. If two players have equal numbers of votes, the player who reached that number of votes first will be lynched.
   
5. Twilight is the time between the 'hammer' vote being cast and the beginning of the night phase. All living players, including the most recent lynchee, may talk during this time.
   
6. Players' alignments will be revealed on death.
   
7. When killed, a player may make one informationless 'bah' post at the beginning of the next day phase and must be silent thereon until the conclusion of the game.
   
8. Please submit all night actions either via <b> tags in your quicktopic if you have one, or by PM if you do not.
   
9. If you have a night action and do not submit one, you will not take an action. I will not resolve your action on a random person.
   
10. Player List is ordered alphabetically by the initial players' names.
    
11. Role distribution is guaranteed to be random, determined with the aid of random.org

1. Days will be exactly two weeks long. Extensions may be granted at my discretion for what I feel are extenuating circumstances.
   
2. Nights will be exactly two days (48 hours) long.
   
3. Players will be prodded after 48 hours of inactivity during the day, excepting V/LA circumstances.
   
4. Failure to pick up a prod in 24 hours will result in replacement. Asking for replacement will result in replacement.

-Factional kill: Each night phase, one of you or your partner may perform the factional kill.

-Veto: Pregame, you must choose one player to be ineligible to be Chosen.

Win condition: You win when all members of the town are dead and at least one member of the mafia is alive, or nothing can prevent the same.

I'm going to, for the time being, assume all of you are town, and ask that you do the same. Basically, at least for the first half of D1, I'm asking that we treat each other as more town than we actually are, and work with one another in figuring out the alignments of the remaining four. (Darger, phok, projectmatt, and TIP.) In other words, working with another (temporarily!) as if we had already formed a townbloc.

Now, after half a day has passed, sure, yeah. We can reassess each others' alignments to see who (if any) of those big name five are scum. (If you four were all actually town, then this game would be a dream-team of town players. ) I think that it'll be an interesting experiment, and not to mention, I have an idea for why this might be a good idea this game, though that's something I'd prefer not to reveal until D2 (assuming I live that long, since proposing this plan paints a big, HUUUUUUUUGE X over me "Dammit, we need to kill Mastin before he screws us over"*. ).

*I can see pretty much any player on this list giving me the veto. Which'd leave me as definitely nightkillable.

Basically, my plan is
-For one week, focus on the four names outside this temporary-townbloc.
-For the remaining week, focus on the names inside the now-dissolved townbloc, and from there, look to the original four names again with this new insight.

I have a legit townread on Sound of Silence. Not a "town for one week" townread. Legitimate. Why? Because they stole my vote. I was going to vote TIP as soon as I finished the above, but they beat me to it.

GiF and I talked a little about who would be vetoed if town. We felt it would likely be you or Nacho. Possibly us or Tammy or maracinus, but less likely. All predicated on if town.

I dunno. My priority is going to be sorting you guys. I'll be more willing to townbloc if I have some townreads.

My suggestion is for you to sort the players after one week.

It's my priority, too. But I'm trying a different approach to the norm. If you think that you won't be able to effectively sort us a week after the game has started, you can always sort in whatever hydra communication you have. But I want, at least in-thread, for us to be working with the others as if we're all town. For that first week.
