Reading this thread is death.
To put my forebearers stuff into the light. I have no idea what either of them were doing and they both looked like they wanted to be heros and got mad that they couldn't.
I've started my reading on day three and have about 15 pages left of todays stuff to get through. So far, I'm unhappy about the eggs in the basket idea, but I like the random aspect of it. I feel that investigations of any kind are incredibly important for us as town if we are presenting a pool of people for scum to shoot and it's pretty given in a game as large as this that at least one scum is going to be seen as pretty damn town, so I'd be looking to keep the top townreads fluid-ish and making sure that any major money sending is offset by a transfer back between a member of the top towns to another. (Like if three people happen to send the same person money and thy had quite a bit to send.)
The biggest issue with trying to break the game is that there WILL always be the factor that both scum teams have the drop on town. Knowing more leaves alot in the open. Letting tracker slip is a HUGE loss, which should probably be punished as subversion of information roles is entirely scum at this point.
More later.Don't @ me.- Espeonage

This is a good post.In post 2378, Lord Mhork wrote:Tammy has her own criticisms to the plan. She thinks that even weak town reads should not be throwing their money at the Big Six. Rather we should force scum reads to feel money to the Big Six. She says this mitigates the damage more of scum being in the town bloc. She also thinks there should be a designation of who goes for what.
Also she would like to repeat for pie's sake that she feels the 'let's verify Mhork' thing was super fake. Also she thinks pie is a moron for seriously thinking that confirmed town would try to gambit to get me town cred.
Baldeagle, she wants you to repost how much you sent her.

So just looked it up. I was asking that question for a purpose.
The fact that my slot never got slammed means something weird is going on consdering almost all the lynches have been pushed, as a starting reason, for being lurkish and inactive.
Day 1 that happens, day 2 a scum got hit, and day three, the slot doing the worst lurking got pretty much nothing. That leads me to believe, given that I'm town, that alot of bussing happened on the Dr. Pepper wagon otherwise stuff starts to not make sense.
If nero is town, which I think he is, that means even more likely that scum was on Dr. pepper unless my skim of the early parts of today was incorrect.Don't @ me.- Espeonage

I haven't actually read day 2 yet. I did iso Magua to see the wagons and yeah I saw it. I assumed it was based on the self vote, so I figured it wasn't for the lurking, not being there stuff, which truth be told I was basing on Jacob's 3(?) posts in day 3 before I came in.In post 2834, Lost Butterfly wrote:I'd CTRL+X'd my post on suspects, but accidentally overwrote it in my clipboard, so this first:

Also:Magua, Nero has two separate counts.
And I am happy to go with either Seanald, Muffin or Kingdom. I'll hammer a Voided if we need it at deadline and nothing else presents itself. I won't support anything else.

Maybe, or one or two of the first 3 people on Dr. pepper are buds looking for a high town points lynch on a not quite useful scum partner. In post 2876, uʍop ǝpısdn wrote:

Anyone coming in to the thread.
There are about 10 hours to deadline as if this post or something close to that. Seanald is at L-2.
He has already lied about the money he has left over.
Please vote and hammer him before deadline. Feel free to reread the past few pages AFTER voting.
Thank you.Don't @ me.- Espeonage

1. This line of questioning is going nowhere and drawing me back to the thread in the hope someone else is here.In post 3002, morph the cat wrote:There's such a thing as keeping the REASONING for a scumread a secret, sometimes. You don't want to telegraph what about their play is setting off your alarm bells until you've got enough juicy posts to find relational tells.
But this is mostly just me messing with you out of insomnia and boredom.
2. That was my favorite way to question back when I was a below average player. (Some would argue I'm still a below average player.) And tbh, it's not really that great. It's better to put everything out there, more scumminess will usually come up if you actually force them to play differently to cover something they were previously doing.Don't @ me.- Espeonage

I was pretty vocal about muffin yesterday. I feel that he is buddies with Dr.P. @LB: I had thoughts like that about the money, but I couldn't overlook how he differentiated between the normal and red auctions. @Voided: Mainly that he was hounding a wagon that was in full swing already, it was as if he wanted the lynch to be closed out asap before it got derailed. And asking deliberately hard to answer question which used against an established wagon is like trying to stuff someone still alive in a casket before people realise you're doing it.
Not to mention he wasn't int he best of positions on wagons so far this game.
@Upside: Because it was too late then. I didn't know if people were going to be back and the timing meant that lynch was at like 8-9am my time, a time at which I would be fast asleep and in no position to change my vote.Don't @ me.- Espeonage

@Muffin
No that was you asking questions with no possible town answer to Nero just as he his wagon hit tipping point.
And are you really going to be that dismissive at this point in the game? People haven't been the most liberal with town reads on you. That usually points to issues in your play. And wagon analysis has always been a part of scumhunting. Tbh, I'm finding you 'defenses' to be ever worse than the rest of your play. So what if an attack is weak, if it's a constant that would point to a bit more of a scum playing as scum than a town being consistently mistaken.Don't @ me.- Espeonage

Also, I believe a revote on night activity would be a good idea. Only three of the peeps are still alive, AND deadline is floating above our heads. We can discuss a lynch as well, but it does us no good to sit around with no direction for the night when we could be slapped with three irl days of play to sort out everything.Don't @ me.- Espeonage

2498, 2509 are a start. I might go fetch more when I'm not on my way to bed.
2498 is entirely setup for lynching without opportunity for response. Your first point is entirely reasonable on nero's part. Second point goes for many slots, yet you only mention on the target convenient for you. Third point in entirely unreasonable on your part. Not everyone has the scum PM that lets them know exactly who the scum are. Town have to work it out over the course of multiple days.
2509 puts Garuda in a lose/lose response situation where his only option is to go, yes, to which you can just parrot of your previous claims on self preservation.
Shutting down all options for response is a terrible easy way to cause mislynches at best and is a venomous scum tactic at worst (or vice versa if I'm right in assuming you have a scum PM).Don't @ me.- Espeonage

Ok, I just realised something. Like actually got out of bed, because it was nagging at me.
Why are you even continuing this conversation? If everything I'm saying is as flimsy as your saying, why do you care? What town motivation is there for you to entertain a line of inquiry that is as terrible as you're making it out to be. You are so ready to discredit those that call you scum and shut down any lines or investigation into alleged scumminess, and yet can't produce the kinds of read lists that you seemed to expect of your suspects yesterday.
The scum motivation for this attitude to the gamestate is immense, and there is no way I can see town put this much effort into ensuring that town thinks they're town.
And to think I hate not being able to get to sleep.Don't @ me.- Espeonage
