finally caught up here. So there was a fake cop result gambit and ETL is voting me for a dumb reason. No body takes RVS seriously. It's a silly stage of the game and your voting me for doing it wrong? Allow me to correct that then.

Really I'm not sure why you chose me out of everyone to attack. Are you saying that everyone who has been active is reading town to you so you looked to the inactive players for a vote?- Lucky2u

But your accusing of me started with my RVS. RVS is purposeful BS, not to be taken seriously. I usually vote the person I'm most familiar with in the game as a way of saying hello! I do that as both scum and town, so the fact that I did something unusual means nothing. In post 107, EspeciallyTheLies wrote:It relevant cuz I wont be giving you such an easy pass for bs this time.
On the other hand, your attitude toward me this game for a previous game is either scum motivated or bad town motivated. Either way it is not in favor of the town.- Lucky2u

What your telling me is that you are now paranoid that I'm a good scum and could be scum even if I appear town.In post 112, EspeciallyTheLies wrote:I don't think that's very fair, Lucky. We all learn from our experiences with other players. What I learned was not to underestimate you and to pay closer attention to what you are doing. Do you really expect me to ignore that and just not apply your meta elsewhere?
p-edit: Becausedeviation from normal meta = something is up. That's pretty standard analysis....
Deviation from town meta = scum is an argument you could make. Deviation from a null meta = scum is a bit of a stretch but I could see what you mean. Again though, I think your just being prejudice toward me.- Lucky2u

Ignoring your terrible vote in the post following this one and responding to your question. I take gambits like that with a grain of salt. The rules don't leave much to the imagination so a night 0 cop is a bit ridiculous. He could have done it in an attempt to seem town because there is a stereotype that only town players make reaction test gambits. It doesn't sway my opinion of either player since wake didn't give anything away during the gambit. The only knowledge I really gleemed from it is that if BB is scum, wake probably isn't on his team. I don't think BB would have targeted a scum mate for that gambit if it was a fake.In post 114, gamsimbre wrote:Wow, lots of posts since I checked last time!
I agree with this, I assumed lucky's vote was just a joke and he'd eventually get around to something. However, lucky's next post completely disregards the whole BB gambiting Wake thing, and doesn't haven't any feelings about whether or not about if it's scummy or not. Lucky, do you have anything else to say about what happened then?In post 78, Wake1 wrote:Yeah, I don't like this from you two. I'm not sure what your vote put lucky onto, but I did notice that wagon also reached L-2 - do why are we needing to wait for that vote reasoning in particular, rather than for example, just more content?- Lucky2u

Gam became town to me when he was looking at his attack (etl) and analyzing where they were coming from.
I was voting Gamsimbre because I wanted to put my vote somewhere, I'm leaning scum on him for his noob like contradictions of himself.

Kalimar, my vote was BS, don't try to defend me as a misguided town. I wanted to reaction test ETL. She gets all annoyed and pissy as town when voted for. I'm not as happy as I could be with her reaction though because she was a slight bit sarcastic and arrogant with the "oh that's right you will hang" comment.

You can see scum reasoning behind false N1 claim of cop yet demanded to be conftown multiple times. In post 776, EspeciallyTheLies wrote:Of course I can. I'm waiting for everyone to post today. Some haven't.
If you were scum that's exactly the kill you would make... *sigh* Instead of this sentence... why not "I see my scum suspects making that kill". Scum isnt suppose to be you right? So why does it matter what kill you would make. You think I am scum, so what kill do you think I would make?In post 781, EspeciallyTheLies wrote:
Because if I were scum, it's exactly the kill I'd make. He was under heavy suspicion yesterday, and one of the two leading wagons. Considering there are multiple cops, it's not as easy to pin down who to take out. Instead, it's easier to assume the cop would investigate the second leading wagon, and kill that person instead (if they are town), possibly removing a confirmed town for the next day and setting someone up for a mislynch when they claim an innocent on the dead person. In post 778, Tammy wrote:
Why did Bo's kill make sense to you?In post 747, EspeciallyTheLies wrote:Tammy it makes sense to me and was part of why i chose zebe instead.
I'd be more suspicious about bo today had he survived.
Fwiw, I wanted to avoid explaining this until later, but with the number of conftown and almost conftown, we'd have to be really bad to lose this.
No ETL.... I was not trying to nuetralize you. I am just trying to poke holes in someone's defense who claims they are conftown with no right to do so.In post 782, EspeciallyTheLies wrote:I am sure they did not expect me to investigate anyone other than bo which is why lucky's immediate attempt to neutralize me is so damn scummy. Hypocrisy is more likely to come from scum for the reason that it shows a shallow level of thinking. If Person A accuses Person B of being scummy for Action X, but is also doing Action X themself, on the face of it why is it scummy for one person but not the other? In post 848, DoctorPepper wrote:

i'm decently satisfied with ETL's reasoning on her lucky scumread and cop choice. although i think making the second choice cop contingent on another n1 cop existing was a bit odd i'm not sure it's scummy odd just odd.
2. I dont see why you thinking ETL would see a second cop possibility and that first cop may have made the first choice to investigate anyway?
That doesn't necessarily mean the action isn't scummy for that particular person. A certain level of context-dependence takes place when evaluating the potency of any scum read.
In your case, I didn't feel as though the context-dependence was there.
Please rephrase the other question as I didn't quite understand it as currently posed.persondependent. Town people can be hypocritical because that's just how they are (especially when they have a bigger ego). Some people are only hypocritical when scum for the reason you stated. I don't think it's an alignment indicator unless you know the person.
