I really don't get why people sign up for Large Themes with flavor they aren't at least cursorily familiar with.

I know nothing specific about this flavor and I've been in every game and its BEEN JUST FINE.

Esp is playin (don't take an affront there) but I literally have no faith in a town that will not purge that with fire. Immediately.

And yes, I'm making it very, VERY clear I dont even necessarily think scum there - there'd be actual thought and process behind that claim as scum at this juncture and it SHOULD require mad huevos because it SHOULD be lynched.

Assuming we're not up against some dream team unable to screw up scumgroup the road to victory for scum lies in two general categories:

1.) Sweet gambits
2.) Lobotomize the town.

#2 is done in two fashions: 1.) Kill strong players and leave dregs. 2.) Find and kill PRs.

So, method 1 is a more natural occurring kind of thing, but 2 usually requires help from the town.

All claiming VT does there is:

1.) Help solidify never dying (see #2)
2.) Help retarget whatever is at scum disposal at other targets.
3.) Create lolreaction gambits like this.

WHICH YEE HAW SUCCESSFUL

Much like shos masterful piece of voting and calling them town, it doesn't actually

The English-Ur-quan translator failed in these sentences, I suspect. I think I know what you mean in each, but could you just clarify them?

The chamber/ces nonsense had a VT claim in it that I didn't see because I wasn't reading it. Seeing it makes me sad inside (and, if i had the druthers, I think there may be some parsing against that one versus the esp one that could be interesting later).

I thought yesterday was a scum flip too. I saw godfather, blocked everything else out. I'm pretty sure that as much as OMG SCUM FOUND some people are trying to pull that's going to be a rabbit hole that isn't going to be very useful.

Chamber kill yesterday means *gasp* there's some older folk in the scum. I'm not ~meta~ but I don't think chamber got swiped on simple merits from yesterday.

More importantly and this is going to take some time:

At least one major wagon yesterday was on scum.

That ebb and flow and the inability for anything to really push through until the deadline looming power dive means ~something~ was stopping the others from going through.

Its gonna take me time I dont have in spades to get there but if someone enterprising would like to setup the VCA I think we can actually pull some delicious nuggets from it.

So, despite all the flippy floppin around, we only had a few wagons EVER hit a point of actual real traction. But, again, there's some weird shit going on.

CES is on most of these with the exception of Jacob ever and Nat's. The saving grace is he wanted the wagons to grow which goes a long way for me. Still weird though.

With all the hoppin around, the last two are a very interesting split. 5/7 unique and the pair are... sirdan and SSK.

Of course, there's the other side of this. Two names NEVER show up on a real wagon:

I dont know what it means yet, but someday. Someday I will. It really, REALLY makes me want to kill SSK though.

That aside I'm still really unexcited by Desp and in a different better world I'd probably be willing to vote there.
Tierce makes it hard because I just want to love her and sometimes I do but then it floats away again.

More than that this game has the floatits really bad. I'm not sure if its just we've got a majority of scum playing the field or if people just don't want to commit to anything but its ridiculous. In my heart of hearts there's scum in JS/Esp and if there ISNT scum in JS/Esp/TIP/SSK we're in deep, deep shit.

I think PV is a bad lynch right now and if it was time for a lurkerin the guy who flat out said he wouldn't be here is a strange choice.

The bigger problem is, STILL, there's not really an attempt to start to move in a direction with a purpose. The fragmentation is going to be worse.

Its not OMG SCUM WIN like some would suggest but shove it through and, assuming this is a failure, someone come out the gates and shove the wolves in a direction under real reasons. Right or wrong, that's what this game needs.

And I freely say that chances are high its not gonna be me to even try it.

It's happening again all over. My weird feelings over SSK are reinforced tenfold watching these wagon shifts. Esp is literally double talking at this point and isn't getting taken to task for it. ABR is at a point where he

doesn't even have to pretend

to invest anything into this game and is getting protected by a great meta shield.

There is no reason why that group should still exist. And the wagon is somehow on sirdan. Which, while I understand the gnashing at teeth still feels like the town gorilla beating at the bars.

The one in my gut of guts though is still Desp.

But, this game still isn't going to congeal. My faith is limited and I'm already pre-irritated with how the rest of this day is going to go.

AND, just in case it wasn't clear:

I'm working 12-14 hour days minimum lately. It will be that way for a while. I am still reading and keeping up, but I am not in a position to do the heavy lifting. Its almost like I'd need...a...team to get something useful done here.

Nothing definitive. The TIP wagon early bothers me but individually Tierce and CES feel towner than not (although CES is confusing the shit out of me today). Its there to look at in conjunction with other things.

Sirdankill implies either that scum made a mistake and/or had some weird motive. You can't imagine a busy SpyreX defaulting to sirdan who he said Majiffy had an innocent on?

Sirdan would have been literally the last person I would have killed in this game. So, unless you think I got pushed over there's no way regardless of how busy I am I would have been ok with that.

The flipside is: why not AD? Is this a function of AD town or a function of not-Tierce?

When this game is done, am I gonna remember it fondly as one of my premiere performances? No way in hell. It hasn't been a great game and I was blinded by rage coming out of the gate. None of this is ironclad but:
I don't think its AD because Tierce tried ultra hard to throw him to the wolves.
I don't think its els due to the "If Tierce is scum, I hope scum win."
I REALLY dont think its either PR. On top of how silly yesterday would have been PV has no reason to slowplay. Shos is town.

Which really leaves CES/Me/Desp.

I'm not sure what you're lookin for there? It was like pulling teeth and its not a hard argument to make that holding the last hope because getting knocked to one with double-fucked PR's is not a place scum want to be right now.

The problem is I can make arguments for literally everyone but you and shos being scum.

I'm still floored that I'm not getting the white hot irons because I even said that I was surprised the SpyreX-Tierce angle wasn't pushed before she was lynched once esp flipped town since I derailed the shit out of that.
Els and Desp defending Tierce yesterday confuses in each way. I don't see the rationale for foot down hard there and I'm pretty sure Els helped start the 5 man scumteam jabberwocky. The "if you're scum I hope you win" COULD be cheeky as scum expecting to go down beforehand but.
AD's big save is being lit up by tierce and, if he was scum, being the scum RB but again Tierce had hot firey death planned for most of her allies and that kinda fit that bill.
CES is still just kind of there in my head and ~meta~ could definitely make the argument for some of the things this game (chamber kill, double ABR block assuming he was lying, kinda just there).

So talk it through with me here. I'm not even gonna /wrists if I go but all I ask is sooner versus later.

Good game. Well done power roles - shos, pv and majiffy all were solid.

No regrets. If I had a time machine I'd go back and tell D1 SpyreX to keep on track even though you weren't scum.

I figured that's legit since "a long time" must be "a different universe" because that sure wasn't this game.
