Okay so, I'm trying to make sense of the claims.
What we know for sure:
Tree stump bulletproof
Gladiator
Role stooping bodyguard
Roleblocker who can come back to life
JOAT - powers unknown
Self-governing duel master
Janitoring VIG
Anti-roleblocker
Miller neighborizer
What's left as claimed:
Cop who submits three names for scum to choose from
Even night tracker with cop aspects
Amnesiac follower
Delayer
Night two: Brian and bello ffery claim to be blocked.
Now here's part of my problem. Does anyone think there's just a little too many investigative roles claimed? Also Brian says his role failed, which would suggest that it's also investigative of some sort, but one would think he'd be a bit wary of the investigative claims if he was, but I'm not too sure that he's been around during claim fest so I'd have to check. Also we apparently two roles who are unable to die, well apparently mastin couldn't die who knows what limitations are on nacho.
Let's say all the investigative roles are town, then I'd expect scum to have some pretty strong powers. No one has come forward to be a roleblocker, so I refuse to believe there's another town one.
Hmmm I don't think I've come to any conclusions, but something doesn't feel right. I mean I hope that cupcake is scum, I really do, or this town is screwed. Penguin keeps insisting he has to be, but it's not something I feel great about. Maybe if I could trust more people besides bellifery I'd be more confident in this and feel calmer but I don't. And so help me if the one person I trust turns out to be scum I just don't know what I'll do.I am in the top 90% of scumhunters onsite!- Tammy

quick question:
JSU - All of day one and two you were arguing for an obviously town Cupcake Panda. Why did yesterday you immediately jump on the ohmygosh obvscum brigade and ditching your ohmygosh oh so town read and NOT account for any possibility that he could still be town and something went awry with the roles.I am in the top 90% of scumhunters onsite!- Tammy

This fits and starts and promises thing you're doing isn't helping. I need something this game to help me make sense of stuff I can believe in who I understand and who understands me and won't jump my shit for being paranoid in the wrong way/not trusting people/not seeing the game the same way they are.I am in the top 90% of scumhunters onsite!- Tammy

I'll explain to you after the game why none of that actually mattered, given other theory points. It's not really pertinent now, since you fucked up. We should focus on lynching Orc/Mara right now, getting Brian/NS tomorrow, and by then having the last scum pinned down b/w {Tammy, Foxhound, penguin}In post 7851, AngryPidgeon wrote:
PV? I mean I guess. I correctly identified that he was lying about his role, I just didn't make the leap that he was town and trying to draw an NK/roleblock, so fuck me.In post 7847, Just Sheep Us wrote:I'm more pissed that you didn't find him obvtown after day 1, more than anything else.
I WAS 100% right that all his crap about who he targeted and should have targeted was dodgy.

The only bit of work I did last night was find this:
Nachos day two reads as reported by falcon from the neighborhood.
MastinSSK, AP, Clyton, Orc, and PV.
Nacho wanted to get lynched though. That tells me his team is in a good place.
There's something else I'm pondering, but it will wait until I'm at a computer. I'm tired of typing on my iPad.I am in the top 90% of scumhunters onsite!- Tammy

Fair.
Although I'm concerned one of the confirmed towns may not be and that's why nacho didn't seem to care about being lynched.I am in the top 90% of scumhunters onsite!- Tammy

She literally spent the last 2 game Days self-voting and talking about how she needs to be lynched because she might die at night. If she truly distrusted PA THAT MUCH why isn't she voting PA. IDGI. This doesn't make her scum but it still blows my mind. I do have a level of respect for Tammy that demands more than what I'm seeing. And I got rolled by her pretty hard in 2 many heads after she duped the town hard n D1 with AtE and emotional horseshit. So yes, I don't see a particularly compelling reason to write Tammy off given that she's been "conftown" all game and is still around.I am in the top 90% of scumhunters onsite!- Tammy

I feel like I do. I mean in the game Muffin and I talked about what I thought of how he comes across and I feel like I understand him a little better. I'll never feel like insulting people is all right, but I really don't think right after the game ended, a game that was pretty frustrating for most of us, where we just lost after, most of us having shit reads, is really a productive time to start pointing fingers over who was more toxic etc. The majority of us were, we can do better and should. In post 8423, BROseidon wrote:
How about instead of saying shit like this, you hold people accountable to their actions? In post 8421, Tammy wrote:Can we just not.
Most of us played a shit game, myself included. Just learn from it and move on. Parts of the game were toxic enough, and a good number of us contributed to that.
Serious question.
When I said in my giant rant that "everyone who isn't standing up to mastin for her emotional manipulation is complicit in it," I was being completely serious.I am in the top 90% of scumhunters onsite!- Tammy

Actually sorry for being so directionless and paranoid of everyone.
I laughed that Muffin was convinced that I was scum in the dead qt. I wasn't active lurking; I just was overwhelmed and lost and I didn't know how to navigate through the game. I can't imagine me playing the game that way as scum, not to that level.
Peregrine - Meta doesn't work that way. I have my good games and my bad games. I tried to explain to you that my mood influences how I'm seeing the game along with the mood of the game. I don't play the same way every single time. I tried to show that to you by referencing the game we just played where I similarly was lost, and showing you two games that were running concurrently in which one I played very well and the other I just didn't.I am in the top 90% of scumhunters onsite!- Tammy

Also I feel like I was getting on the right track when I tried to approach the game differently and looked at the wagons. Maybe I would have even gotten a scum read right! Who knows, but I like to tell myself I would have.
I feel bad for getting worried Falcon was scum going for the lynch on FoxHound yesterday, but I'm not sure they would have actually gotten lynched anyway, so :/

Maybe you should try to, when you want to call someone bad/stupid/retarded/etc, not do that. I'm pretty sure you picked one of the tamer things you said about it, too.

It caused a lot of nothing to happen this game.
Like whenever I wanted to just talk about nothing for a while but look like I was doing something, all I had to do was say "Tammy could be scum" and KABOOM conversation derailed.I am in the top 90% of scumhunters onsite!- Tammy

usually when I get lost a scum lynch will snap me out and give me something to solve. It just took me far too long to try something out and stop wallowing in paranoia and frustration. In post 8454, Tammy wrote:

I thought this was insane and was what actually had me suspecting the people who were pushing you because to me it made perfect sense for you not to have scum strong scum reads, but I felt like of anyone I was seeing the game through a similar lens so I could see it. And, I think it's super easy as scum to give a fake scum read, especially in a game like this, so you not having one is something that I was lost why people had a hard time with it.In post 8531, fferyllt wrote: One of the things I'm mulling over is how my lack of strong scumreads affected how people were reading me. I think I mentioned in the game that if I were scum I would have just spit out a few scumreads. It would have been easy as scum to sheep some of the town players on the wrong track. I kinda think it would have been better to pretend a confidence I didn't actually have about some of my not-so-town reads. But, that goes against some deeply ingrained habits and principles as a town player.
It just looked really honest to me, not like scum afraid to give a scum read. If that makes sense, but I guess it's because I was town reading you and they weren't?
