I know most of you have the rules memorized...but humor me & read 'em anyway.
  • Votes must be in
    bold
. If you do not bold your vote, it will not be counted.
  • Please be attentive and
    unvote
, if necessary, before casting a new vote. This is not
    required
    , but I’d appreciate it.
  • Executions will require a simple majority of votes. Once a player has reached the necessary majority, his pleas are useless and any attempts to unvote will be unheeded. You may
    vote: no lynch
    – majority votes of this kind are necessary to end the day without a death.
  • The game is not to be discussed outside of the thread unless your role specifically states that you may do so.
  • Once your death scene has been posted, you’re dead. Stop typing.
  • Don’t edit/delete previously submitted posts
  • Don’t quote any PMs from me.
~Does not refer to any PM with the simple subject line "communiqué," which will also contain a quote box, the source of which is designated "communiqué wrote." Those PMs are actually from someone else -- not from me~

  • If you have a night choice to make, it is due by the posted deadline. I will not wait for you – if you do not submit a choice to me, tough! No choice will be made.
  • If you anticipate being unavailable for more than a 48-hour period, please post a notice to that effect in the thread.
Treat this game as a commitment. Be considerate – don’t leave us hanging.
  • Remember, it’s a game. It’s supposed to played. It’s supposed to be
    fun
    . Do your part.

The deadline for night 1 is now a bit less than 24 hours away.

Remember --
if it's not sent by deadline, I'll ignore it

One less shadow darkens the streets and a single crude marker leans grimly in the cemetery, marking a freshly dug grave. The inscription reads simply "LoudmouthLee."

It is Day 1. Eleven players left means six votes to lynch.

Play
.

Just bandwagoning to get things a bit more heated. That, and there seems to be a prophecy, and you can't deny prophecies!

i thought you would have enjoyed bantering with lee now that he is back.

lol @ Phoebus.

But I wouldn't have killed LML if I were scum. I'd have killed you.

Hang on. We haven't been told anything about LML at all (except that he's dead). I had assumed that he was pro-town because he was the only death Night 1. But MeMe's not said anything either way...

MOD
: Was LML pro-town? Was he a plain ol' townie? Is this a no reveal game?

I was wondering that too, but I assumed this was a no reveal game once MeMe did not post it.

Is it really abnormal to have non-reveal games? I haven't seen any myself, but I haven't checked out too many for that matter.

It is unusual (though there is one running in New York at the moment). I don't like them and wouldn't have signed up to a no reveal game -- not even one run by MeMe -- but that's a discussion for another place.

It is curious. No reveal doesn't sound like much fun. However, in the sign up, Meme said there was a special mechanic, which is presumably the communique. No reveal would make two special mechanics. So it might not be a no reveal game, and just something else funky that is specific to Lee or that someone else did or whatever.

I suppose it could be part of the mechanic -- maybe the Mod sends a Communiqué to someone about deaths, or the dying player is allowed one final Communiqué. Anyway, MeMe will enlighten us when she turns up... I hope.

I'm sure there is an explaination. I doubt it was just a mistake on MeMe's part though, I mean, it's MeMe. :D

Shall we get back to the game now?

My vote stays on Pheobus, I mean, only scum does a double insult towards someone. ("you suck" and "you idiots", I'm not even sure who those are directed towards, but it's scummish anyways)

Are you serious about this? Scum are more likely to insult people in your opinion?

no, I'm not serious.... the opposite is probably more true, was just trying to get more game related conversation going. I know that pheobus is a mafia veteran, so there's no way he would have that simple of a tell even if it were true.

The "double-insult" part makes it seem like a joke to me.
