Improbable, yes, but happened all the same. If anyone submitted a polarity and got back a different result from what they submitted, I think we'd have heard of it by now. Thus, no polarity alterations happened, and thus, all players made their choices which just so happened to be an exact 50/50 split.

TCMT was an RVS vote. Reading the game, I didn't like the wagon on Necro, and felt TCMT's play was not town, nor town enough, nor were the other proposed wagons worse than TCMT. So I stayed there.
Later, when I re-read, I thought I'd re-vote. By then, the choices being Aegor, Xay, and Jordan, I reviewed what I had thought before, and then ISOed them again. None of them seemed remotely interesting as scum for day1.

After reading the Polarity asking I have something interesting to make. Why cant scum basically fake thier polarity? I dont see it being caught unless someone targeted them with an action and it ended up failing. Am I missing something here?

I might be over thinking things, but if that night, they decide to switch polarities (from dark to light or vice versa) and someone of that polarity targets them, does that mean the shot or whatever gets absorbed? or does the polarity swap not kick in until the beginning of the next day?? I understand that a dark targeting a light will garner results each time, however I didn't know if someone who was flipping polarities was then targeted by someone of the same polarity would work or not... @.@. Cause then confusion...

I'd be interested in what you have to say. My impression of Thor so far (this is my first time playing him) is he's a scummie-ish Town player, if that makes sense to you. He pushes lynches, a lot. That's good Town. But, it seems to me, he's a little too indiscriminate.

I have no knowledge, or choice, of the polarity when I lock it. Honestly, I've been a bit baffled as to what my power is supposed to do. My best guess is that scum has some method of manipulating the polarity of others, and my role is intended to dick with that. Possibly there is some role that interacts with mine to some benefit. I have no idea if any of the missing kills are because I got lucky, nor do I know if I helped with killing Titus. If anyone I lock flips without the locked modifier then we'll know that I was useful. Otherwise, I have no way of knowing. I don't know how other people see my role, given the bias of the PM saying town bulb sent me, but the power is confusing as hell and I can't wait until the game is over to figure out what it was supposed to do.

And that's Ikaruga Mafia. This game was frustrating as a mod simply due to how little anyone seemed to care for this game. It took forever to go through the review process, because the reviewers (6 people at one point or another) seemed to not care whether to give feedback or not. Add on top of it that I had to pull teeth to get people to sign up for the game or replace in. And then, everyone with the exception of scum, PRs, and late replacements refused to play with the mechanic I gave them. This was a game I was very excited about, and it was disheartening to see everyone else give so very few craps about it that the game spiraled into oblivion from day 1. I gave everyone a huge sandbox to play in, and most players just stared at it and went "meh". Maybe everyone sees it differently, but that's just my impressions from running the game from start to finish. I am interested to hear from everyone else, including how to avoid such pitfalls in the future and make a more enjoyable experience for everyone.

I thought it was fine. Possibly include some strongman shots for the PRs (maybe just one) that let them not try to outguess polarity but get/achieve results.

As for the rest, that sounds like normal game issues (replacements, player apathy, etc.) so it was nothing you did. Sticking to the prods/VCs/replacement rules is for the best, and you did that.
