So here I am reading along, quietly minding my own business slowly growing my scumread on Fear as he joins in with beautiful quotes such as "I don't make cases, I fuck scum." And on sharpest as he continues to justify every post and remain relatively impervious to logic.

I was almost for a second going to drop off on Xayzeck. I was gonna drop right off. 453 was a hell of a townie post. Not so much a good player post, rather the opposite in fact, but i am not in the habit of lynching people because they irritate me.

And along comes post number 456 doing the following.
A) Letting us all know he still likes the wagon he's on.
B) Proclaiming Fear to be town.
C) Proclaiming everyone on the necro wagon to be town.

Lets look at that list of names for a moment shall we?
"Jordan_Downey, Talah, Xayzeck, Natirasha, Sharpest-knife-on-tree, Aegor, Doublade, Fear"

Now I'm not going to claim I have scum reads on all of these players. Jordan-Talah-Nati-Aegor are all rather null to me.

Hell, dou seems a little derpy just now, but he comes off pretty town.

But Xayzeck-Fear-SKOT, I'd bet there are at least two scum in those three, and one of them is almost definitely Xayzeck. Leaning more in favor of Fear as his partner right now, SKOT might just be as he claims not really running on the same wavelength as the rest of us.

But my reads aren't the point, really my point is this. In what world does an even semi-competent player look at the one big wagon for the day and think there isn't a single scum on it? Honestly, If I for some miraculous reason had 7 townreads and one neutral read on the 8 players on the necro wagon, even if I thought necro was scum I would go over that eighth players iso with a fine toothed comb looking for the bussing scum I probably missed.

So please, Xayzeck, explain to me your eight townreads and your justification for them.

And everyone else, please vote Xayzeck while he flails his way through that.

Mastin's thought process is readily followable, he seems perfectly willing to engage, and has been giving reads I understand and often agree with. He hasn't yet done anything that particularly pinged my scumdar.

Antihero has been generaly antagonistic, frustrated and ragey, but still coherent. Reads very town to me.

But more than that their wagon is for total shit. You don't generally get shit wagons that do well on scum. But a shit wagon can do fine on town if it has scum backing it.

I think you should almost always vote for who you think is scummiest, until at least midgame when one persons flip ends up flipping a whole bunch of connection switches and giving you like 2-3 scum and a bunch of conf town. But I can also see where you're coming from even though i disagree, at least in theory.

This particular practice though feels wrong. Anti has been aggressive and defensive, yeah, but people have kind of been giving him reason to be. Mastin has generated plenty of content, more through his existence as a polarizing factor than through his reads, but still you got to admit it's totally there.

@Zdenek self meta tends to be scummy because it's someone yelling "I'm town." Like at best it's a weak ass defense when someone is trying to meta you, but I believe Xay was under pressure for non meta reasons and was trying to use meta to excuse them.

So I decided to iso jordan to see if I could see the scum case against him that has drawn people to his wagon. Not really finding much I isoed Shiny, deciding that if there was a case it was likely to lie with the person who's pushing the wagon. When I did that, know what I found? Not only is there no post in which shiny lays out a case against jordan whatsoever, but I also found a gem of a post where Shiny says the following.

Looking back through his iso again you know what i found? The last time before that post that Shiny had a vote on Jordan, was post 252, his first post. During which he spouted such brilliant reasoning as "who are you?"

So yeah, someone should give me an actual reason why people are voting Jordan. Because as far as I can tell people are just sheeping Shiny and Shiny is for shit.

Well let's see, looks like there were two posts from each of you that were interactive.

Thor's 1027/1028 and 1059

Jordan's 1006, 1029, and 1030

It looks like 1006 is a response to thors 994 where he says "But, yeah, sure, get a wagon on Aegor that's as big as the one on the other likely weak player, Xayzeck and I'll vote that one. I suspect the cases are fairly equivalent."

Jordan looks like he misinterpreted that post by you as calling aegor weak rather than "week this game" which as far as a can tell equates to scummy. it looks like 1006 is an honest attempt to correct a perceived mistake, and try to get you on the Aegor wagon which i believe he is a part of

1029 is just confusion.

And the problem I have is that I can also easily see where 1030 is an irritated town response.

All in all, despite multiple iso readings Jordan just hasn't pinged me, like at all. He hasn't done anything that stands out as particularly towny either, but if he's scum then he is very good at dodging my radar at least, and I don't think that's the case.

Given that I have at least three people who have pinged my scumdar, and heavily at that, and two of them have wagons on them, I don't think I'll be voting Jordan today.

If Xay's not getting lynched though I'll happily switch over to Aegor.

Ok, so the biggest peices of information we have to work with are obviously that Titus and Doublade were scum so I'm just going to stream of consciousness and go from there.

The two biggest places we can go from on dead are the votes they have and the votes against them, I tend to favor the votes against them so since doublade never really had a big wagon going I'm going to start with titus.

Post#1975 is really the first place that titus has a reasonable sized wagon on him. the votes are

Spring Starflower, Sharpest-knife-on-tree, Malakittens, PeregrineV, The Necromancers

But what matters more are where the other votes are, and how those other votes sway throughout the day. When titus first has 5 votes the other biggest wagon is 3 on dry-fit.

between that point and the next votecount Rach, Doublade, and Eddie, all jump from on to ZZX, Rach and Dou from Dry-fit. I spect one of Rach and Eddie, but not both is scum from this and the fact that dou flipped scum as well. I'm also going to go ahead and put dry-fit on my town list just because of that interaction.

The next interesting interaction is in the spring starflower wagon as necro, Xay, and PN join me, Nero, and ZZX. Not quite sure what to make of this but I actually really like how PN pops on to spring for a moment and right back on to titus, in fact given starflower town, titus scum, and zzx town, I'm going to tentatively Slot PN in to my townpile.

Day 3 quickly starts off with titus and ZZX wagons, but with the ZZX wagon wavering the Saki wagon starts with the page 2758 votecount of Rach and eddie. It's interesting to me that those two appear together again, could have been wrong earlier, these might both be scum.

PN and Xay both get major townpoints for votecount 2851 where they are votes 5 and 6 on the titus wagon, that's not really a normal bus-point.

Thors backstage leading of the ZZX wagon from start to end worries me a bit, but on a completely unrelated note rach just voted him, so I think I might just be getting paranoid.

I will try to get to doublade tomorrow, though he didn't really do nearly as many useful things so I may not bother.

Ok, so the SK Xayeck case begins with the idea that no one with a 2013 join date can be this derpy unintentionally.

Xayzeck has been shifting back and forth between noob-posting, opportunistic posting, and megaderp posting all game long. The only time he was even a little bit useful was when TSO was alive and on him hardcore.

This is a strategy I used to employ for the longest time until I got tired of how it caused people to treat me. Playing the VI as a survivor or SK role makes you very hard to lynch.

The fact that he's lapsed back in to this role while not under pressure, added to the fact that his "tickt-tock, 0 reason vote of thor was made with three days before deadline and his continued derp about a game mechanic that has been with us since day 1 is patently rediculous I am pretty damn sure Xay is out SK.

It's possible I'm wrong here, but if I am he's scum with Rach. I should never have dropped this vote, and I don't think I'll be voting anyone else today unless a Rach wagon picks up out of nowhere.

I've been trying to get a xay wagon for forever and a half, but yes, the wagon on you, PN, has plenty of validity or I wouldn't be voting you. Though to be fair I am voting you more for recent reactions than anything else.

I've had this argument before, even this bloody game. SK tells and Scum tells are very different. Thor was most definitely not scum, he was exhibiting things that made me think he could be the SK. Most of the people on thors wagon were voting him as scum, in fact as far as I can tell few people have been bothering to look for an SK this whole fucking game.

I even had this argument with thor while he was alive, I'm not really sure how many times I can repeat the same thing or why it's so hard to understand. Maybe if I translate it in to some form of seusian limeric for you....

Saki, it irritates me that I still have no clear stance on Xay from you when you are being useful and giving reads on other people. Do you get how he is the SK? If not who do you think is the SK? If he's not the SK do you think he is scum or town? Talk to me.
