Also, ZZZX - you seemed to want pressure on Xayzeck in your first post. What have you gotten from the wagon so far? Do you think his reaction was town or scum?

Your #101 is a pretty good post. I'd add that the difference between jester and mafia is that the mafia are a team, with team dynamics and no night kill which adds a unique set of pressures on them.

I don't think the jester is going to be obvious at all, though. Or we'll be lucky if they are. I'm focusing on team hunting and jester PoE, but considering the range of behaviors between good-bad jester, good-bad scum, good-trolling town, etc...

Jester is probably within the group of active players who seem to care about controlling the game. A player who needs to be lynched by day 3 would probably feel pressure to achieve that goal.

Rubicon and AD are the sorts who play apparently protown but are always pretty hard to read. AD's first extended post reads as pretty mechanical in its reasoning, but that might be his deal. I hate having to deal with them.

I wanted to mention that I hate this kind of statement. It

freaks me out and pings as a lazy cop-out from even trying to read me/others, which I think you should be able to do.

For one thing, you call our posts 'apparently protown' but don't commit to a town-read on either of us, which either leaves you open to vote both of us if the opportunity presents itself or allows you to slot a buddy in a noncommittal position next to a townie.

For another thing, and on a personal level, it bothers me even more when I can't figure out how the person making a meta argument has the meta they're trying to invoke. As far as I know you have never seen scum-me. Unless it was an alt or something, in which case I feel like you should be able to read me since you've seen both sides.

So I think a more accurate way to put this would be, I think you should be able to give some substantial thoughts about the game by page 10. If you can't, that makes me wonder why not, in a bad way.

Because I've been 'scheduled to die' before in games when my lynch was mechanically beneficial to town. My reaction was to do everything in my power to drive conversation and hunt down the scum while I was still able to post, to set town up for a win following my death. This is you saying your death is a big enough blow to your win condition that you've given up. Thanks for doing that, I guess.

I think ZZZX is the jester. Because of Aronis, the jester deadline is essentially today, coming pretty soon according to the deadline clock above. So if we find ourselves strongly wanting to lynch a certain player, and that player is making no real effort to avoid it?

If ZZZX isn't the jester, than we have to ask who the actual jester is, since they should be trying to get themselves lynched today. The only person resisting the ZZZX lynch is ActionDan, and only barely.
