DGB has a silly notion that I'm being intentionally unpleasant to her and I think that's her largest motivation for wanting to exit the game.

The issue would arise soon enough in either the Neighborhood QT or the game thread and the outcome would be the same.

Because my flavor is the snitch flavor. The other two guys in the neighborhood (Bodie/Poot) were always vassals to Barksdale. If you lynch me, you remove all possible doubt of a scum in that neighborhood, creating instant-masons.

The point was if DGB were town she would know she doesn't need to be lynched for her neighbours to already be considered masons.

As the snitch-flavored neighbor, my scum hunting is tainted. No one should pay attention to anything I say while alive. And historically no one pays attention after you're dead and flipped town (see Pikmin Mafia LOL).
