  • This is a game. While I expect you to play to your win condition, ultimately the purpose of this game is to have fun. Enjoy, but don't ruin the game for others.

    . Unvoting is not required if you are switching your vote. Vote tags are also allowed (e.g. VOTE: Wickedestjr or UNVOTE: ). You may not vote for "No-lynch", lynching is mandatory in this specific setup.
  • In order for a player to be lynched, that player must receive a majority of the votes in play before the deadline arrives. If none of the players have received a majority of the votes before the deadline arrives then plurality deadline rules apply and the player with the highest number of votes will be eliminated.
  • In order for the town to perform a no-lynch, you would have to first ignore the part where I said you couldn't no-lynch and then embarrass yourselves trying to do it even though you can't.
  • If a player in the game dies, they are allowed a single 'Bah' post until the game is over. 'Bah' posts can't say anything relevant to the game unless you are encouraging your team. Otherwise, the post will be replaced by 'Bah. Go Town!' or 'Bah. Go Mafia!' depending on your allignment.


Day and Night:

  • The town will have two weeks each game day to decide who they want to lynch, unless they are given an extension.
  • I may extend the deadline for the day or night if I feel that a deadline extension is necessary and/or many players have requested one. A deadline extension during the night may occur if many players are V/LA, regardless of said players' allignments.
  • If you are reading this, then you are probably reading all of the rules. Nice job! Your likelihood of winning just went up five percent.
  • The mafia will have 48 hours to submit their night action during the night.


Activity and Prods:

  • If you plan to be V/LA during the game, you should either send me a private message, mention your V/LA in the thread, and/or submit your V/LA via the user control panel. Please bold your V/LA if you mention it in the thread.
  • If you don't mention any V/LAs but go 60 hours without posting, I will send you a prod. If you go another 24 hours without posting in the thread, I will search for another player (a player that isn't already in the game, obviously :facepalm: ) to replace you.

  • If you discuss other ongoing games in this thread, you will be modkilled or force replaced.
  • If you discuss this game outside of the thread in a way that your role doesn't allow, then you will be modkilled.

The Setup


This game contains;

  • Two Mafia Goons
  • Five Vanilla Townies
  • Two
    Chosen
    Townies (given vanilla townie role pms, not aware that they are chosen, only mafia know of their identities)


How does it work?

  • Before the game starts, the mafia will select a town-aligned player to veto. That player cannot and will not become a 'Chosen Townie'.
  • I will randomly select two of the remaining six town-aligned players- those two players will be the 'Chosen Townies'. The mafia will be informed of the Chosen Townies' identities but, again, the Chosen Townies will not be told that they are Chosen. Chosen Townies will appear as Chosen (to everyone) if they are ever lynched.
  • The mafia cannot night kill either of the Chosen Townies.
  • The mafia win when they outnumber the town or nothing can prevent the same. The only condition is that one of the Chosen Townies must be lynched before the mafia have outnumbered the town, otherwise town wins. 1 or 2 Mafia vs. 2 Chosen is a town win.

It has been brought to my attention that blue would be a better color for me to use given that colored reads lists often use the colors red and green. So from now on blue is my color - the opening posts will be edited to reflect this change.

I'm not going to RVS, I only do it when a friend is on the table I'm currently playing in to troll them.

I'm not particularly familiar with anyone on this table so, I can't make a pool of who is most likely to be veto'ed here. I'd like, if any of you could; assuming you're familiar with the players here, for someone to make a list (two or three players in the pool should do) so that way we can be a lot more careful when lynching outside of that pool; since scum's goal is to initially break the two chosen townies.

Meh, I was hoping for more posts and that someone would've filled my request by now, but unfortunately this game seems to be having a slow start.

Just to clarify, as to why I want this filled ASAP:

A) Having a pool of people who are most likely to be veto'ed makes those people marginally safer to lynch rather than people who are least likely to be veto'ed. Scum would most likely veto someone who's either a) really good at town-telling or b) someone they think will be unlynchable.
B) I don't like talking too much about mechanics while the game is going on, I'd rather focus on scum-hunting and just want to get this out of the way ASAP.
