I'd prob veto GG. Mainly because I think AP is considered to be quite a good player across the site so I would like to be able to NK him in confidence. Also because I don't know many of the other players either.

You couldn't determine for yourself that their posts were drivel? I'm struggling to believe that.

Don't have many reads yet, will accumulate them as I participate in the game more.

So because someone says 'Hey, scum is x,y or z' you feel the need to vote one of those three choices? You can't make your mind up for yourself? You don't think scum exists outside of those three people?

I obviously know I'm Town.

Aside from that, Flubber's entrance of calling me scum, wildly misinterpreting my posts and then backing down is so blatantly not-partner.

That's right. You 'know' you're town. I don't. You're also right with the Flubber thing, I mean, I've never seen newbscum badly try to bus their partner and then back off at the start of the game. Never.

That totally rules you two out of being a scum-team. /sarcasm

I thought you were implying there was some sort of associative tell you were using that says you and Flubber could not be scum. I'd just policy lynch your ass for using associative tells with next to no information. I wanted clarification.

T S O wrote:I didn't like Josh.

I voted Josh, because he is really the only person I'm scumreading atm (excluding you).

What part of this do you feel is problematic?

BlueBloodedToffee wrote:You don't think scum exists outside of those three people?

I specifically said I did not think the other two were scum - so yes, it seems fairly obvious I do.

Hmm. I feel like you know what I meant by my post. So either you're playing dumb, or your reading comprehension isn't very good.

The bold part is exactly what I was getting at. If you're scum-reading me, why are you happy to go with what seems to be other people's choices of a lynch as opposed to your own? You should try to think independently, otherwise, you look like scum. You're welcome.

How can you dislike a RVS post?

Second post was fluff, adding to all the previous fluff.

Nah, I haven't even decided if you're town or scum yet. I was questioning some of your posts; am I not allowed to this without being considered scum? Are you one of those really defensive type of people?

Note the use of plurals. This would imply that had TSO voted for JB, ZZZX or FN I would have asked the same question. I thought my stance on the situation and the direction my questioning was coming from was fairly obvious, my bad, it clearly wasn't.

I mean, at first I thought this was some sort of reaction test you were trying but I'm beginning to think you're purposefully trying to misrepresent my posts.

You still didn't answer this either.

Since you came in and attacked me straight after I had began to attack him.

Since I came in and attacked you over making a bad vote. Fixed that for you.

T S O wrote:Clearly, if you felt JB was a good vote, you would not have done this.
You don't have an opinion on JB, or on anyone, but you're still trying to tell me it was a bad vote.
That's absolutely disgusting logic.

How is it? I have explained why it was a bad vote, it was
the situation and the circumstances
in which you voted that I had a problem with. Not the person you voted for.

T S O wrote:Yeah, I'm not going to let you pull this either.
There is no proof that you would have done this, other than your word.

I mean, I don't know how I can make this any more clear. Do you see the stuff I bolded? Do you see how it may be relevant to what you're saying here? Do you see how I can't go back in time (edit) my posts to make it look this way in light of what you're accusing me of?

The proof is right fucking there. In

.

T S O wrote:This is why, in my opinion, you either can't read or haven't done so yet. I explained this to you before but you managed to miss it. Let's try again.

I did not "feel the need to vote within those three choices." I already had a scumread on Josh. This is documented. This was not a "best of bad choices" pick. This was me, at the time, picking my #1 scumread, and voting him. I was not voting within a group of choices.
I was voting a scumread.
Do you understand this complicated statement?

OK. So you were scum-reading me and JB and you just happened to vote within the lynch pool offered as opposed to somebody else outside of the pool. I guess if he was your '#1' scumread at the time that's a good reason.
If
.

Why did you not vote for JB before you were offered this lynch pool of players?

Leaning town on Josh.

Null on FN. Catch-up posts are so easy to make and pretty much always look pro-town so it gets ignored as far as being alignment indicative. Would like to see more.
Null on awestfie, I need to see some more, gut is telling me something is wrong here.
Need to ISO heartless/LC coz can't get a read on either for some reason.

The fact it was so OTT made it feel not genuine. I mean, FN had one vote on him and you were going ballistic because somebody didn't agree with your read on a wagon that had barely got started. The whole situation just felt off.

I don't like this growing wagon on FN. Lynching the most inexperienced player; smells like scum looking for an easy lynch so they can get to their kill.

It's more than asking people questions though isn't it. It looks like buddying, you're asking people for direction instead of trying to figure the game out for yourself. Three separate people as well, so it's not like you even care who it is, just so long as someone is helping you.

I have to be honest and say I'm struggling with Heartless and it's kind of frustrating me now.

Some of their posting strikes me as town but I can't shake this bad feeling and I think it's mainly from the attack on FN (which does actually include some good points). It just seems such an easy lynch to go after though and it's not sitting right. I'm gonna need some more time.

I am struggling to read Heartless. I am getting the majority of my read from their push on FN, which I think is a bad wagon.

Because unless that happened, you're going to have to explain to me how that was opportunistic.

I think if there is one opportunistic (and easy) wagon to get on it is the FN wagon. So, yeah, you're going to have to explain this for me because what you just said is a flat out lie.

lying cat wasn't anywhere near the flubber wagon. if you want to sit here and
swear up and fucking down that the flubber wagon was on scum
, then your scumreads should follow from that,
but they don't

it's flubber/bbt scumteam

gg

OK.
I'm leaning scum on you from your attack on FN. You can see that from the reads list I provided so I'm not sure why you don't think I got any scum-reads from that wagon.
I'm waffling on you? I don't even know what to say...
I don't usually like to move my vote around a lot. I guess I could have unvoted but meh. I'm not sure how leaving my vote on TSO if a wagon is going nowhere is a scum-tell though.

There has been no progression on my read on LC. They're null.

Nah, LC is null. Said that in my previous post I believe.

seriously, BBT's "reads" are a big, tangled, fucked up web that doesn't connect to the
actions
(the vote patterns).

forget logic. the simple fact of the matter is that he's not pushing the lynch that follows from his reads (josh), he's pushing
a
lynch.

Flubber was an easy target for a lynch, I don't even know why this is being debated. I also don't know why you keep saying it 'magically disintegrated' or language along those lines. Is that somehow relevant?

Correct. LC is not a scum-read.

Josh is a scum-read
but not
for the reasons you have decided it was for. More later.

I feel sure Flubber's wagon was scum-driven; scum can bring up valid points just as well as town can.

You're right, I'm not pushing a lynch on one of my scum-reads right now. Can't disagree with that.

Heartless wrote:actually, i misspoke earlier.

josh
was the scumread that came from the flubber wagon.

so what is it? what's the reason?

Josh was a scum-read for his buddying and looking for direction in the game. I'm sure you already knew this though; but given it doesn't fit into your case, it can be disregarded right?

If I say the reason, it kind of defeats the object of my vote. Which I no longer care about, so...

I voted LC to try and run her up and see if I could get a better read from their reaction to a growing wagon on them.

I am a little tentative to take you on in this game because of the respect you get from the other players, but fuck it. I'm going with it now. I think I'm right and I'm gonna do it.

I was trying to develop a null read before progressing with the game. If I'd have said 'Hey LC, I don't think I'm looking to lynch you so don't worry about my vote; I'm just looking for your reaction to see if it helps me gain a read on you'. I'm not sure it would have had the desired effect.

The voting for Josh comments are in direct response to your bullshit case. It has nothing to do with my reasoning for voting/not voting. Again, you're being misleading.

Umm, I don't know?

I thought TSO was scum. Further down, I also developed a scum-read on Josh. It's highly unlikely that both Josh and TSO are scum, one is town and one is scum is where I'm at right now. Before I switched my vote from a 'lead wagon' to Josh, I wanted to try and develop a read on LC. You present awful case on me after trying to push through an easy lynch accompanied with a meltdown. Combining these two aspects leads me to believe you're probably scum.

So now, my vote is on somebody I feel sure is scum.

Scum know who the chosen townies are. I feel heartless' whole case is fabricated; I seriously doubt I was veto'd before the game.

This feels right. If other people read his case on me and my response to it and don't want to lynch him then I'll see where I want to go from there.

Do I agree with his suspicion of you? Not really. Do I think that makes him scum despite everything else they've done thus far? Absolutely not.

Your vote on Heartless is not only a bad vote in terms of who it's on, but it's not doing anything.

Aside from FN and myself, who do you think he has pushed?

If nobody else agrees with me and it looks like my vote is wasted, I will consider my other options. I'm not going to sit on him for the rest of D1 if nobody else is going to believe me.

I am a reactive player, it seems a bad playstyle for this site from what I have seen so far but it's how I play. Keeps getting me into trouble.

I always intended to vote Josh. However, I was struggling to read LC and wanted to see if I could help get a wagon going and then gain a read from their reaction to it or even to the wagon itself.

I'm not convinced Flubber is town at all, I'm convinced that was the easiest wagon/lynch to push in the game, and I didn't like it. I could be wrong, but I don't think I am.

Besides what I've already said, BBT also said that there wasn't a bus on D1, yet in order for him to vote me, he has to believe that there was a bus.

Maybe I should have been clearer. I don't think scum bussed on the FN lynch.

and hey BBT. we're talking right now about WHAT THE HELL WENT WRONG WITH FLUBBER YESTERDAY. you've got some explaining to do.

it seems like everyone outside of [us, GG, lying cat] are just sitting here silently shuffling around votes.

quit it. COME TALK TO US.

I don't really know what to do. Like, my reads were so far off yesterday (not liking the FN wagon when it was on scum, scum-reading Heartless when they obv town now) that quite frankly I'm a little embarrassed and I don't know where to go. I
really
don't want to re-read this whole game because there was soooo much shit posted on D1. So it kinda puts me back to the drawing board.

As I stated earlier, I don't think scum bussed so that left me with awestfie, Josh and Z. I'm still town-reading awestfie (albeit not as strong as my D1 town-read due to her D2 disappearance, but still town) so it's between Z and Josh for me.

Josh_B wrote:

Then he would have reevaluated the game according to the information from the flip. Exactly like every other good townie does.

I haven't re-evaluated? I'm pretty sure I'm voting you based on the FN wagon and lynch.

I'm also wiling to bet my life on this. especially if BBT flips chosen.

The FN lynch that you never liked, and the FN lynch that you dissolved when it was only me, GG and Heartless on. Good job on dissolving that wagon. I was going to wait for end game to tell you that. Is there a point to this?

It wasn't until fubbernugget was finally like "I'm a PR" that BBT voted him. With 4 on the lynch so close to deadline, there was no reason to try to whiteknight from the flubber lynch he would have been lynched by plurality. Whiteknighiting behavior is what I see from BBT on the flubber lynch.

I see. So there is no way I could possibly be a townie who didn't like the wagon and wanted to stop it? No, you're right, I'm confirmed scum.

I would also like to say at this point that I had no idea that 4 votes would have lynched. If that's the case, why was ETL going crazy about time left? I thought it was 5 (over half) for a lynch.

My read on Josh is weak, but its a gut read from my interaction with him. Your reaction to my voting you doesn't seem very town-sided to me, either. But a weak read is better than a null read.

The case on him, IMO, is also much weaker than the case on you. Which is really what I should've said in that post.

The case on me being...?

The case on Josh being...?

Also, am I looking at this right? I breezed through the pages for vote counts and, upon realizing he wasn't going to get T S O lynched, began vote-hopping a lot? Again, glasses, rose-colored, but I don't think its a coincidence that he didn't hammer his partner until he absolutely had to.

Nah, that post reads as 'Wow, how was my read so wrong, that's pretty annoying'. I was also expecting to be quick-lynched today, surprised I've stayed alive this long.

Also, yeah, take those rose-coloured glasses off.

That's the thing I think is really fuckin' weird.

Compared to you guys, sure, my styles a bit flippant and eccentric, but... you said you were town-reading my slot previously. I can't even begin to fathom your mindset here. You don't like that I don't like your not-a-case case of PoE on Josh, so you vote me? Like, what's your vote but a waste right now? You're not generating a case. Fuck, you didn't even give a reason for your vote.

So, yeah. I had to ask if you think I'm scum because I don't, at all, understand your play here.

I wasn't even just town-reading your slot either, I was hard-town reading it.

Your entrance into this game was ridiculously scummy. I don't believe you had any idea of what was going on when you joined my wagon.

So, as you can see, Heartless was chosen. Once they started really pushing for Flubber's lynch (and they were the first to do so IIRC) there wasn't much I could do. I messed up on and and it was all downhill from there. I just couldn't let Heartless push through the lynch on FN because I would have had/did have a very difficult time getting them lynched after that.

Everyone was town-reading the chosen townies as well. Such a difficult game.

I alse intended to kill GG on N1, like the whole of D1, but decided to take the risk in keeping them alive in the hope that AP could turn the tide on me and gain me a few more town-reads. That didn't pan out either haha

It really didn't matter how I approached D2, the game was over. If I didn't get lynched D2, I was getting lynched D3. I genuinely had no idea what to do.

I say it in the QT. It's mainly because from reading around the site it seemed that AP was widely regarded as quite a good player and I initially wanted to kill you straight away and get you out of the game.

Due to AP town-reading me so hard though, it kind of made me backtrack on it.

Here is the topic, there isn't a whole lot though.
