Aj, reading through xtoxm's posts, I'm seeing a lot of enthusiasm, and it feels like he wants to do genuine gamecracking. gamecracking isn't a solely town pastime (Cabd being the exemplar), but putting it all out there publicly would be pretty damn cheeky of scum.

Can anyone actually explain why the massclaim was completely ignored? Like I get why people didn't like it and I get why people disagreed or whatever but reactions should have been had based on what happened ESPECIALLY from SoS-slot. Also knowing the SoS-slot makes me extra uncomfortable with the push on me: you wouldn't have even given me one game day before letting me die and without really looking in anywhere else?

andommidget - I thought being the first person to claim seriously in the massclaim was townish. My reasoning was that scum bulletproof wouldn't be willing to claim immediately, and that the "lynch abilities I'm not claiming" would be something that random midget either claimed because he didn't know any better, or he wouldn't claim them at all and instead would use his lynch abilities in the most anti-town way possible. I'm unsure why SoS is unsure about him but I guess it could be a fake claim and am downgrading until I talk things through with ffery.

That's just fery not me. I have random as lean town bc yes his claiming early and he hates playing town so he tend to do almost nothing as town.

I don't mind the early ambivalence because it read less like he was genuinely conflicted and more like he just didn't give a shit.

Yes, I disagree. It's a null-tell, as someone who makes jokes/posts silly gifs regardless of alignment.

Of course, alone it's a null-tell, but with the series of few, empty posts it comes with, it contributes towards the scumread.

The reason that makes it a little townier than not is that he naturally has more to fear from the two hydrae if he's scum and posting "AAAAH! I'M SO AFRAID OF STRONG PLAYERS!" would be strange from ASP as scum in that it's either disingenuous and cheeky or ballsy.

A Simple Plan - I thought that his initial vote for random midget while expressing that he didn't like breaking the games was pretty town because it's a ballsy as shit claim to make at the beginning of the game (game is broken, this player is scum, what we did to make the game broken is stupid). The thing that prevents this read from becoming a full town read is that he later unvoted for reasons I'm not really understanding; if he can explain this satisfactorily, will upgrade this.

SoS - We have a long drawn out dynamic with SoS that ends in me focusing on them harder than I do on other players. Not really confident or interested in talking about this read right now; doubt they're getting lynched today so probably not necessary anyways.

Davsto - Vigilante claims are something that come from town an overwhelming majority of the time IMO. I don't think mafia have a full vigilante as one of their power roles; if they do, I don't think davsto claims it off the bat.

Xtoxm - I think that his "let's massclaim" "I was lying about my role btw" is something that's very very unlikely to be coming from scum, I guess I can get into this if need be but I don't really think it's something scum does. Like his immediate unvote of our slot and then pushback on our reads, and I like his expressed excitement about the game getting interesting. This is by far my strongest townread so it's the type of read I'm pretty surprised that people don't see; let me know if I need to make a big post explaining my reasoning in depth here.

Dongempire - Also an incredibly strong town read, I thought his claim in and of itself felt town from how casually he claimed "we're mass claiming? ok, here's my role"; it felt honest and it came at a time where it would be safe for scum to disagree with massclaim and if he was feeling unsure he most definitely would have looked at what other people were doing and that was definitely saying "it's okay for you not to claim!". I like the way he's reading me; he initially had us as strong town and then decided we could be trusted if we hit scum. I like one other thing he's posted, will glance there when I'm back.

Noseferatu - The only point in his favor is that his role is scummy as hell, but if wgeurts didn't give him a role safe claim (which, since I remember reading wgeurts commenting on a Mafia Discussion thread that "fake claiming was half the fun" is doubtful), then Nosferatu could have just claimed his scummy scum role in thread and not realized how terrible it would sound.

I don't like his position on mass claiming; it seems like he claimed because he was forced to, then he outs that he disagrees with a massclaim for legit reasoning - don't see why this happens as town. His only inclinations towards scum hunting are in the early townread on Pepto which doesn't do shit for me and questioning SoS vote on us which also doesn't do shit for us.

I think Pepto is a decent choice for scum #2 and would whole-heartedly endorse his shot tomorrow. If ASP and Pepto are both dead by the morning, will be heartily pushing an AJ lynch. If not, will be heartily pushing a Pepto lynch.

Aj, if that's the case then the majority of town is wrong. I didn't expect to be almost entirely without internet during my trip, but, it happened. I'm not fully caught up, but I was surprised to wake up and find that we were almost lynched while I slept. Reading through the middle of the night posts, it looked like the wagon on us had already softened before the gladiate.
