ftr it's still not acceptable for you to have posted it - if, for instance, town had some way of saving the game after you were lynched then the game *would* have been compromised. it didn't compromise anything here, yes, but the key point is that there was no way of knowing for sure whether it would have compromised the game or not even if it seemed apparent at first glance the game would have ended
I would strongly advise against doing this again, especially because I expect 99% of mods will be less lenient than I was over this.
