Option to turn off Youtube videos in thread not working

I have this marked 'No'. They still show up in threads.

My browser at work has a problem with embedded videos (because my office is retarded when it comes to updating anything - some people are still on XP ffs) Videos lock up the entire browser for minutes at a time.

Why does this option even exist if it doesn't work?

What browser is it? Does it have any extensions? Can you give me an example thread where it occurs?

Firefox (which is the only browser I have and can't install others). No extensions. The Videos thread.

Marking the box in display options doesn't do anything.

I can replicate it, but I don't know why or precisely how that option works. I'll try to look into it when I get the chance. Thanks!

I believe that that option was added but never coded. We were holding off on announcing the youtube tags until it had been added, but then Amrun found them accidentally, and the feature just never came to be.
