I was waiting for a game to be not ongoing. The Day lasted exactly 11 posts, shortest Day I've ever seen here at MS, and Titus was lynched. Not her fault really, she replaced into a Scum slot. But anyway, I just felt heartless throwing a vote on her. The hydra's posts since my FoS, however, haven't done jack to make them look Towny.

... This is more Suidoken u pick than twilight zone. Both I lynched Klingon day 1. In Sudikoen, Kling's ISO was devoid of any attempt to read people or defend people. There was nothing to engage Klingon with. She finally gave a readwall but said wall had zero conclusions but a lot of waffles. In twilight, every post Klingon made early was a defense attack or question. When we fought, it was due to her bad strategy that did not line up with her words, making me doubt everything else she said. You can grab Kling's ISO side by side with Sudioken and see the contrast.

Except don't. I refer to that game as brown acid down the rabbit hole, it was the weirdest game I've ever seen.

The reads list was given reluctantly - at Titus' insistence. I hate doing readslists on Day 1. I think I said that already.

Also, the way the game was set up, Town had tons of communication, Scum were stuck with night chat only. As long as Town played half-assed or better they could pin down the Scum team pretty quick.

I don't read everyone the same way. With some players their meta stands out like a beacon, with others I have to look at interactions, with some it's pure gut, it all depends on the individual player.
It also depends on the game itself, for example in this game you seem darker and a tiny bit prone to anger, it's making you harder to read.

Ok in short I had a scum read previously on kling Because even through the case on her originally was pretty weak. She panicked and flailed which I never seen a town kling do before. Also a town kling would be more involved as town she's pretty bad at scum and that's what I am seeing here.

There was another game going on at the time. She replaced into a slot that was universally read as Scum, when the next day finally started it only lasted 11 posts before she was lynched.

Even though that slot was guilty as all hell, I felt pretty sad about lynching her there and dropping a vote on her here at the same time. After the mod ended the game Titus told us that she was told by the mod that she was without question going to be lynched. Until then I didn't know if she was aware of the situation there.

Since she was, and was okay with it, I felt better about changing my FoS to a real vote.

I only once saw Vedith hard lurk and he was scum in greater idea. You were there kling.

Again we are looking at 2 factions here, and given that gamestate bussing doesn't make any sense, especially for someone relatively new to the game. If they wanted to bus they would have done so earlier, not suddenly have 1 of them switch after my post. EE being new (please don't take offense here, I really like some of your recent play) means that of all the scum he has the easiest argument for noob stuck on townreading a scum and not being able to change his mentality. Here's how I tend to read people Day1, which is why I don't like putting out reads lists Day 1:
If they're aggressively calling me Scum, then I'm sure that they're Scum trying to get me mislynched.
If they're very friendly I think they're Scum too, trying to buddy me.
Prod-dodging "I'm catching up" lurkers are Scum.
2 players arguing, calling each other Scum, 1 is Town, 1 is Scum.
Clearly paying attention, helping to move the game along, Town.
Every post is a wallpost (I hate wallposts, btw) probably Town.
And then there's playstyle/meta on players I know.

I think that both having my hand off of the wheel and putting more confidence in external voices is what kept me from pulling a clutch win at the end.
