Because after reading that and your current ongoing, I had more than enough.

Good. Have you seen what you expected/hoped for, so far?

PEdit: because I haven't seen what I was expecting to see yet, and that means I've either miscalculated, or this game might be harder than it should.

I'll give it a little longer

I am never what people expect.

Why wouldn't you use my finished games. Unless this is a total coincidence, your entire ISO seems designed to provoke.

I beg to differ. It's not you that is throwing me off.

Oh. Darn. Maybe that's it. You think it was too strong?Perhaps I should wait a little longer, I'm sure it will happen.

Unless I'm right.

Patience. I know, it's frustrating me, too. But you'll like me again soon enough. Unless I'm wrong.

@51 both heads agree you look like scum. Jeanne's gut.

Anen is making a long post but it sheeps what is already done.

We asked why EE doesn't like the thread. Jeanne pressed on AJ. The "doesn't feel like RVS" was asked already.

The only things that weren't repeats reveal a focus on being on the outside. Don't see how 46 is a joke at all, but Anen's concern highlights he feels like an outsider. the response to 50 seems like buddying and egging EE on.

I assume your philosophy is "provoking people in RVS is good because it gets us out of RVS and it also gets information."

Then why are you intentionally withholding a vote?

I'm waiting. It will come. Patience. Which is more provocative, a vote, or none? Based on your reaction, I must say that the latter seems more true.

It was more serious than RVS. That was my point. I just found it suspect that you pursued that instead of a non-random suspect. That's not what I expect from a town Titus. But I can see scum Titus being very cautious and feeling things out. An Anen vote doesn't change that.

I didn't Jeanne did. Are you just not listening.

1. Yes.

I liked AJ's post regarding Klingoncelt. It's exactly how you and I read it. Jeanne RVSed AJ. Not sure where se's talking about it not matching what I said earlier but it's probably hydra confusion or buying crap Gwen is spewing. Overall everything else she said was good.

I think Garmr is town. Eagle is being quite aggressive for wanting to observe, even commenting on how others should reply. I can tell you I like to be involved with everything as scum. You can't control what you aren't a part of (usually).

Flagpost reads

Town: EP, Elyse, AJ, Garmr
Weak town: TSO
Gun to head scum: Eagle
Weak scum: Spider, Anen, Klingon

@Elyse, your thoughts on my reads?

Sure. I felt their approach to me was off. Their argument that I was wagoned a lot day 1 isn't really supported by the games in my wiki. My wiki is extremely outdated. The whole "Passionate Storm" isn't here in the first twenty minutes felt off.

EE seemed to be invoking InuYasha mafia indirectly, which is not a game in my wiki. The references to birds of prey seemed off since that's my hyra with PV.

His reaction that he expected a wagon on us in the first 24 hours before most of the game had posted felt like he way trying to create a scenario to mislynch rather than actually analyzing the evidence.

His scumread on both Elyse and Garmr looks designed to have those two keep fighting.

Already answered I have Elyse as town. Elyse's reasoning is clear and trackable. It's wrong IMO but having one wrong read isn't scummy. I agree with most of her posts.

Anyone is easy or hard to track as scum. You're feeling a little sales many with your recent posts. Elyse isn't TOO hard to catch as scum and been bamboolzed by Titus really feel off.

Yes, it was RVS and was meant to get a few reactions. I was hoping it would do more than it did. Spifflop following right after me was interesting, but since he knows her it could have just been coincidence.

Is there really even a point in arguing this because even after a a reread i still like my points which I noticed straight away. They still stand. It's scummy to to try and devalue ones case by something other than the case its self.

Fine. I take it you're saying you read the thread through and still like your points? Then I'll respond to them.

I don't understand how you came about this 360 when a couple of posts ago you were saying this

This is what I mean when I say you don't read.

Yes, I'd like to sit back and observe. But we don't always get what we want, do we? And I like starting things off.

I was tired and these were gut reaction reads. They were quick and I hadn't had time to take a step back from the thread. That's when my reads are best.

Garmr wrote:6 pages already. After a quick glance I'm going to say

VOTE: Extrapolated Eagle

I don't really trust the bird. He seems to want to get involved in everything. He also didn't really provide a good reasoning for voting epola and never does.

Reasoning you disagree with is not necessarily bad reasoning
I would think a town player would try and push his first suspect to reveal more information instead his sitting back defending himself and I think trying to justify his vote by defending himself.

.. so you would prefer I don't try to justify my vote and ignore the numerous accusations against me? I don't have an infinite amount of time. Also, as I have said multiple times (though not necessarily before this post) this was a gambit and I need time to go back and think about the results before I push further. It would be stupid to tunnel him before backing off and checking on everyone else and making sure I'm going the right way with it. In my experience gambits can go horribly wrong and "scum reads" can be for the wrong reasons and end up being town.

His other content is meh.

Quote which content, pls.
Garmr wrote:

His vote epola was bullshit yet his been involved with all these other events I would think a townie who was involved in everything would push more on a scum read showing eagerness. This seems like scum eagerness to look town.

Actually, if I was scum, I would AVOID putting my neck on the line to get some reads at game start. It just doesn't seem smart to start the game attracting a whole lot of attention that I really don't like when I play scum.
Garmr wrote:4.I read your singular reason for the scum read

This actually sounds like quite a few reasons to me. Perhaps you miscounted here?

I don't think it's any good. Post 100 right is the full explanation of your read. So you scum read him in short for tunneling you and not having much attention to whats around him until he finished tunneling you and started paying attention to them right thus not giving you as much attention even through his votes on you. Kinda sounds like a bs reason to me and a delayed omgus so people wouldn't mention that. Now you unvote when he unvotes you and you are being pushed by someone else.......

You don't have to like my reasoning. That's your problem. But I do have to say it's pretty early in the day, and I have to say I don't like your reasoning for voting me either. .

-- @ Passionate storm

Ok I'll see when I can get to it. But between work, eating, responding to garmr, and trying to stay on top of elyse I'm kind of short on time at the moment

It shouldn't take you too long to naturally put your reads in basic text form with no formatting or funny names to make it clear.

Far too risky. I'm a horrible actor. I did try to gambit once as scum and I don't think I've ever been lynched faster, with the exception of my first couple mafia games - I was annoying as crap (still kinda am, I guess) and stupid and thought that everyone that voted me must be scum.
When I gambit as I have a hard time figuring out how to read people without cutting my options down too much. I haven't played scum much before.

If you're a terrible gambiter, why would you deliberately try a gambit to draw votes to me and suppose it would succeed?

Jeanne pressed on AJ.
Pressing is not RVS, and furthermore, the implication at this point is that you have communicated with Jeanne, thus, know Jeanne's opinion on me. Yet later, when you're called out on it...you change your story to it being RVS.

If my vote wasn't on Celty, it would be on you, deary.

We can read people the same way without voting them. Boo.
Jeanne can want to pursue an RVS vote; that doesn't make her original vote not RVS.

Your reads expressed attack both of the major two wagons. Your reads are starting to look like whoever disagrees and can be attackable is scum.

If sheeping another player's bad reasoning is the best you can do, maybe you should sit back and let the rest of us solve the game for you.

Well you could show you're solving it with a list similar to what I made?

I'm doing my usual as Town, whether you like it or not. Reads come as I get them.

So your only reads are AJ town and us scum? Really? Nothing on grapes Alch ee? Spiffeh? Elyse?

You should be lynched for this comment. You don't back off from people in hopes they give content, you threaten them with the noose until they comply.

Klingon has zero problem telling us her thoughts as town, and I have battled with her on this. She engages various people and charges, sometimes with shit logic but she's there. Scum Klingon always begs for more time and delivers a pile of steaming shit if anything at all.

I posted a read on Grapes.

I want to re-read Elyse and Spiffeh.

Alchemist, Anen, PereV, and Hiplop I always have trouble reading.

Extrapolated Eagle, Randomidget, Spider Gwen I don't know, they'll be harder to figure out.

By the end of Day 1. Maybe sooner. I'm not in so many games right now, so, over the next 7-10 R/L days probably. Two or three at a time.

Ok, thank you.
@Passionate Storm & Elyse

Sorry for responding the way I did. I hate it when my questions get answered or responded to by someone other than the intended target.

I think Passionate Storm is likely town, now, though I'm skeptical of the play there and I'm curious as to why she joins wagons with her scum reads on them.

Yes, this means I think it's likely that spidergwen is scum. Reads coming shortly, hopefully.

The odds of getting an all town wagon d1 are abysmal. I have managed the feat for awhile but it's not common. Voting scumreads is a priority. Now if only scum were on the wagon, that'd be an issue. Let scum bus if they play anti-scum.

Why so obsessed with Clotid?

Fire, any reasons behind your thoughts? Why is Klingon mislynchbait as opposed to scum? Last time we played with her, I pegged her n1 as scum. So your insistence she's mislynch bait always is worrying.

I know you're busy with modding but where is Vedith head?

I also don't care that you're blindly doubtcasting the entire Klingon wagon but AJ.

Is that a good thing? I am assuming kling and spider are the two above me?Does that mean anything? Is there a connection with how scummy someone is since kling is like top wagon right now? So many questions.

A side note

Fire and Vedith where are you? 7 posts are not like you two at all.

A second side note

I think kling is town. She reminds me of her play in twilight zone here. Especially her interactions with Titus.

I don't see how. This is more Suidoken u pick than twilight zone. Both I lynched Klingon day 1. In Sudikoen, Kling's ISO was devoid of any attempt to read people or defend people. There was nothing to engage Klingon with. She finally gave a readwall but said wall had zero conclusions but a lot of waffles. In twilight, every post Klingon made early was a defense attack or question. When we fought, it was due to her bad strategy that did not line up with her words, making me doubt everything else she said. You can grab Kling's ISO side by side with Sudioken and see the contrast.

@708, you are the quintessential showman. Your bluster reminds me of me. Being a showman doesn't hide the weaknesses in your case.

First, your implication is that people cannot divine reads from the comments people make. A wall is not required.

Second, your prediction match is not helpful. If you set yourself up to be lynchbait, you expect both alignments to vote you. Also, if you're scum it's a built in defense. There are very few times where wagonning yourself is good. If you do it, you must either confirm yourself or have a game breaking strategy in mind. You have neither.

Third, if Elyse is opportunistic scum, why doesn't she pick a wagon? Vote parking is how to get people lynched.

Your "case" doesn't fly.

Talk to me about Klingon or vote her.

Except don't. I refer to that game as brown acid down the rabbit hole, it was the weirdest game I've ever seen.

The reads list was given reluctantly - at Titus' insistence. I hate doing readslists on Day 1. I think I said that already.

Also, the way the game was set up, Town had tons of communication, Scum were stuck with night chat only. As long as Town played half-assed or better they could pin down the Scum team pretty quick.

Titus' play was
very
strange. (So was Wgeurts' and LQ's.)

Yes. I am aware you do. There's a reason I asked. It's a huge flag you have no content this game.

Sudikoen would have been much worse without identifying a town block early. Town had communication, but not with guaranteed town.

It seems you have thoughts on this game.

I may read EE v Elyse later. Not in the mood for a wall fight.

Klingon is under pressure. Passionate Storm makes a couple posts about how scummy she is, and what does Elyse say when one of her prime scum reads that she wants lynched over Gwen? "Ditto to passionate storm" now she may have those thoughts all on her own, but this way, when kling OMGUS votes passionate storm, what does she say about Elyse? "Need to reread." Now I don't know about you but for me when I'm OMGUS ing I try to get all my aggressors, because that way maybe they'll back off. But Klingon didn't even feel the push. Which means it wasn't really there

You think I'm not noticing Elyse?

I posted a partial reads list with her as Scum.

...And it's not there. WTF? What happened to it?

Good thing I have it in my notes.

Anyway, I'm staying parked on the grey-green Scum.

Here's the list
that should have been posted at 4 this morning, is the site updating or something?
:

Alchemist21 - He's one of the players on this site that I can't read. Can't Read

Aneninen - He's one of the players on this site that I can't read. This game... He's kinda goofy. Not alignment indicative, though. The Clotilde thing... wtf. Can't Read

Errantparabola - Very much in the game, paying attention... Town

Dapper Stranger(Fresh & Jaqen hydra) - Looks like Fresh is having trouble using Jaqenspeak. Anyhoo, they're paying attention. A bit fixated on SpiderGwen, but...Lean Town

Aunt Jemina - C'mon, AJ is always Town, isn't she? Isn't she? It bugs me that she jumped on my FoS post, but w/e. It bugs me much more that after I explained my hesitation to vote Titus, AJ made no comment towards me, nor did she remove her vote. Until very recently I was the usual Day1 low-hanging fruit lynch, I wonder if she's just going for the easy mislynch. Lean Scum

Elyse - Happy to finally be in a game without RC, but she acts like a basket case regardless. Her posts are full of busywork, but I'm not seeing any depth. She bounces her votes with little clarification: Garmr, Aneninen, Extrapolated Eagle, Klingoncelt, Extrapolated Eagle, Klingoncelt. Scum

Extrapolated Eagle - More posts than anyone else. Way more than most. My eyes are glazing over. I'll start here tomorrow.

Why include people you can't read? Whyam I not there? Why no strong stances? Why don't you have spiffehlop and itep reads!

First, who doyou believe is town reading Klingon due to her reads? Her reads are in 790. All posts after that say lynch her. Why do you believe her reads are legit? I don't see you having a rational posting here but having conclusions and fitting your beliefs to them.

As for Elyse, you should be able to summarize what is important in a paragraph or two. I can ask you what posts support which statements.

1. I believe it is possible Klingon's explanation for her RVS is relevant.
2. Her lack of reads is one hundred percent justifiable by the fact that she is being hounded for them consistently.

I am surprised to see you scum read and tunnel her so hard. It actually shocks me to think that you might fo this as town. I am quite tempted to vote for you right now, but even you, I don't think, are as worthy of a lynch as Elyse is as you showed when you indirectly defended her by taking the argument I made, attempting to defeat rather than discuss it (although I foolishly hoped for the latter) which shows you are willing to read my arguments, by the way, and then come and do this the way you're doing it right now.

No, I shouldnt read you out of my personal emotions, that's how I screw things up, but I lost my town read on you the moment you refused to respond to my rebuttal.

Actually answer my questions and include the post for the rebuttal and I will answer.

This isn't a negotiation.

1. You stated your expectation as if it actually occurred.

2. Your analysis on Klingon was shaken after being confronted with facts. Can you bullet point your other reservations?

3. I still would like Jeanne to talk with you on Elyse. I like the fact she disagrees (I feel like I am dominating the hydra). She'd gain more on how to work with people, possibly articulate her Elyse read. Doubly so if I disagree on Elyse.

4. Reading 716 now.

1) Why would you know that I would feel you were like me? Are you artificially emulating me?

2) This doesn't respond to the point I raised.

3) Your theory sucks. You need to stop theory crafting and just explain why something is scummy until you have played awhile. My most successful self wagon did not come until years in.

4) Your wagon hopping theory is wrong.

5) I am seeing plenty of followup. Followup doesn't mean tunnel.

6) We'r talking about Klingon.

1. I am focusing on lynching actual scum with my townreads. You should read Sudoken. My people skills need work because I am not the type to let people make dumb decisions. I am trying to be friendlier as town. You should see that as a difference. I don't enjoy shutting people down.

I do see us as very alike on many levels but you are newer. Reading me I am told is hard. I suppose it's time I get a dose of my own medicine.

This is scum.

I've specifically asked your thoughts on the current wagons and situations and you ignore them. Instead, you basically giver Spider Gwen instructions on how to get you to remove your vote on her and threaten to switch it to itlepip, who isn't an option for today. You continue to hide behind your reads and refuse to give opinions about the current gamestate, which will allow you to tag along to whatever wagon you want as deadline approaches.

I can't find the words that were in my mouth again.

Somehow Jeanne still thinks you're scum though. She's refusing to post to say why because she thinks I am game throwing by not believing er although she has given no reason.

I still think you're obvtown though and I am the only one posting so yeah...

You really want to know who Varsoon is and you really want to know who I am.

Varsoon is Luke Skywalker and he will never go to the Dark Side, so Varsoon's Town and that's all that matters. I truly do not a single fuck give about his role.

As for you, bucko, I'm not the one that's dangling Clotilde in front of everyone. I want to know who she is, not what you are.

How do you know Varsoon's Flavor?

Spifflop wrote:Elyse is town I'm pretty damn sure of it.

I don't think ScumEagle is something I'm comfortable with yet. Dude appears pretty damn confortabe/not squirmy.

KlingonKelt is the one piquing me as most scummy right now. His strange FoS in the middle of RvS comes off as clumsy and weird. From what I've seen of kling, shes a really strong town player but is just really awkward as scum. For that reason, VOTE: klingonkelt

A man is giving but a few examples. Two of these reads- the ones on Elyse and Klingon- a man is finding of utmost importance. He sees no reason in making a long post longer. This last quote is also the meat of his argument against Spiff. That one is making a snap read on someotne solely because they aren't falling in line with everyone else with Stupid Voting Sequence. A man is opening with a question at large when he is making the start of a game (which isn't happening this time) and knows, just so, this isn't telling anything of one's alignment. Neither is Klingon's venture from the common path.

Once he is seeing some agreement amongst others he is sticking with that one as his intended target because he is knowing it to have traction. From there, he is with AN AGENDA of finding the "scum" in Klingon, twisting some things she is saying in an effort to keep interest. Keep in mind, his initial "scum read" is still coming from the flakiness of reasons (capitalizing on the human condition of being resistant to change or anything different, kinda like how at work or school most people are put off by having to learn a "new way of doing things") as the basis for his read. With a preconceived notion, a man is noting it is easy to find evidence to support an opinion. A man is doing this much and more, and getting away with even more than he should have been able to, as scum in his last game.

This alone isn't causing a man's scum read on Spit.

That's where post like this exchange are coming in

Spifflop wrote:Titus, how are you perceiving that whole elyse/garmr exchange? I feel like garmr looks REALLY fucking town there, elyse not so much.

From what I remember from Elyse, she isn't TOO hard to catch out as scum. Interested in your thoughts, hun :)

Spifflop wrote:elyse I haven't been clear I still think you're town. Titus mentioned the fight you were involved in so I went back

you went from "pretty damn town" -> "probably town"

pedit: yes, that too ;)

At the time of the first post Elyse was feeling a bit of hate and this one is abruptly calling the Garmr/Elyse match TvS with Garmr looking very town and Elyse not so much. When all is being quickly explained and it is obvious opinion is swinging against Elyse, Spiff is going back to 'nah girl! You're town just not uber town' as an out on what's evidence of his first slip. A man is naming it such because it is showing his eagerness to lynch
someone
. That kind of excitement a man isn't seeing from early D1 town because they aren't having the knowledge needed to form an opinion truly one way or the other.

But, for the while Klingon is getting a bit of a reprieve from as much suspicion this one is making himself to be fully into his cups with how he wanting squished Grapes:

Spifflop wrote:Klingon is like a slam dunk for scum.

~Spiffy

Spifflop wrote:on that note, wanna go for grapes spidey?

That one is also doing a fair amount of schmoozing. First with Aunt Jemina (whose ego everyone know she is liking stroked) with his over the top "my friendly maple syrup mama" town assignment to his "girl power" post and then acting as if he's captivated by the secret alt which is Spider Gwen (who cares, not relevant to the game). This schmoozing is giving this one a free pass as he is saying those things he thinks people want to hear. Instead of ardently figuring out who is or isn't scum.

And then, finally, a man is presenting this

Spifflop wrote:Klingon is like a slam dunk for scum.

~Spiffy

Umm, no. Nothing to town is a slam dunk 426 posts into a large theme game. A man is knowing this to be just so, just as he is knowing both Spiffheads are feeling the same way as town with the hesitance D1 in recently finished games with the both which neither are exercising here. The only way Klingon is a slam dunk for scum at this point is if scum are feeling pretty sure they are causing the mislynch of a strong player the first day which is high on their priority for night kills.

-------------------

With all this in mind, Anen, a man's perspective on both Celt and Elyse is coming not from their posts, but rather Spifflop. That one's stance on Elyse is town quickly to Elyse is scum when that is briefly popular and then quickly back to Elyse is town again is showing she can't be scum with Spifflop because she's easily being discarded with little provocation.

Likewise Spifflop's play which is causing a man's scum read is making it impossible to consider Klingon may be scum as scum aren't throwing away a scummate because they FoS'd in RVS.

His interactions with Gwen are giving a man pause there as well as he isn't putting together how those are scum together. A man also hasn't put much effort into that as yet but is seeing if such ties exist later on. For now

VOTE: Spifflop

I have caught scum on post 29 before. Sometimes scum are just bad.

Ok first off. Cops defense attorneys and prosecutors all engage in a search for truth, but each has their own biases they bring to the table. That is no different than three people in any Mafia game trying to sort an alignment.

The difference is that all facts for the cop and the prosecutor are filtered through the police for the most part.

The defense attorney has the facts according to their client and the police evidence.

All parties are naturally more inclined to believe their sides. We all value evidence that is consistent more with our internal beliefs than what goes against them. I have learned to watch for such indicators in police and highlight them.

That in no way has bearing on this game. Do not dare use my job as a reason to doubtcast or townread me in a game again or I will turbo lynch you. (If you pull it today, after Klingon). K.

A defense attorney's business is also not based in acquittals but helping people get the best possible results based on the truth. Being honest with the client about the odds and helping them fix their lives is what I do for 90 percent of my clients.

Also I don't like the wagon that has built up spiffy. Look at Celt's meta again. She is sucking D1 usually as either alignment. A man isn't saying at this point she can't be scum, just that her suck here isn't a good reason to lynch her.

As far as coherency, a man can only assume this one is speaking of him as its a man who is presenting a case. When has this one EVER seen a man presenting an incoherent case even on D1? This one is having plenty of experience, both with Jaqen and his main. A man is town in most of those games, so this one may wish to rethink this test.

You're wishing it were OMGUS.

Sheeping Jemima hard. Jemima popped a vote on me because of my FoS. The FoS was explained and then changed to a real vote after a certain game ended. (Not Titus' fault at all, but the last Day in that game lasted only 11 posts, ending with her lynch.) All this was explained, yet everyone still reacts to the FoS while AJ maintains silence on the matter. Some people seem terrified of getting on her sour side.

In your case, the sheeping is just one of your tells. The far worse tell is your condescending attitude towards Town, basically telling us to work
for
you instead of you offering to work
with
us. Titus is doing the same thing, btw.

Ee, asking for thoughts from scumreads is pretty duh. It leaves tells if they are scum and helps readjust if wrong.

I believe your reads are the ones based in emotion not his.

Let me give you a hypothetical.

You are trying to determine if an individual is sick. You do not have a doctor. Two people who know the individual say she's sick. The patient says no and denies these people know her. She points to someone less familiar to say she's healthy.

What conclusion do you draw regarding the patient's health?

None are. Ok, you think that people knowing her would lie. Why? Why not ask the two who know her and investigate their evidence? Why do you search for evidence they are lying?

I haven't said anything about lying, accuracy or anything else, just that the two knew the patient better.

I am not saying that I think the people who know her are lying. It is quite possible they are simply misguided. I would like to hear it from the patient themselves. Why take it from a second-hand source when you can take it from a first hand source? My parents are very good to me. They have spent a large majority of my life with me. They most likely know me best of anyone. And yet I have told them I was sick in the past and they did not believe it. My parents are possibly on the other end of the spectrum to these two people you mentioned, but you two have known Klingon for months, perhaps a year. My parents have known me for decades. They were still wrong about me and when they finally took me to the ER the doctor said "just in time why didn't you take him sooner?" It is so easy to believe something about someone or think you know someone when truly human beings are so complex that even the people who make them cannot fully understand them.

So no, I would talk to the patient themselves.

Of course people who know you can be wrong, but yet even in your scenario, the parents figured it out before it was too late. Why can't this scenario be smart parents? You know your parents loved you and they didn't want you to be ill. No one wants their kids to be ill.

Do you think it's possible that the patient may not want to admit she's ill?

All sides should be investigated. No one is going to claim they are sick after all.

I'd like to say me, too, but I'm not quite sure what defines an intellectual, and I believe that makes me not one.

I don't take things at face value. I like to play devil's advocate.

In a Klingon scum world, Elyse is null-scum and spifflop is town. Maybe null-town, although I don't know that spiffy thinks that hard, so I'll put him as town for now. You're likely town.

What happens in an Elyse scum world?

PEdit: I'll take that as an acceptance, then. I will hop to it the moment I get the chance.

Lots more booze for Titus as Elyse likely felt she had to bus Kling. In Elyse and Kling town world, Titus needs a distillery and a reset.

If I am right Jaquen Kling and random as scum?

What would you expect to see if Klingon was scum?

What would you expect scum to do in a scenario where the townblock is actually town?

Things are changing, obviously. But this is where we are right now. A man is stating there is no EVIDENCE of Klingscum. Only gut feelings. There' IS actual evidence of a scum agenda coming from Spitflop. And now a non town Spiffeh reaction. A lady is but blinded by a "hun" thrown her way and the fact that for once she isn't on the chopping block.

You forgot the irrefutable cases of "meta" also brought against her.

I taught Klingon how to play. Twilight is one of the few times I read her wrong. I am right like 80 percent of the time on her.

That was actually Jeanne talking. While having her sign is good, your powers of observation should have told you that.

1) Jeanne's post implied an absence from the thread. I was not absent.
2) Jeanne's post implied studying. I was drunk. Drunk people generally are not off to study.
3) The post implied a lack of knowledge with your reads, which I do not have.

Reading between the lines is a very valuable skill. I think it might be part of the reason you are not voting Klingon.

Now to the substance of our discussion last night.

First, for teaching your little brother chess metaphor. You may not beat him, but you're probably familiar with the gambits and openings he likes to start with as both white and black correct? You may not have figured out to beat him, but you know what he does in certain circumstances.

Second, Klingon is incapable of lurking away pressure as either alignment. As scum, you get active lurking shit. As town, she gets pissed off her reads are not taken seriously while acknowledging D1 is not her best play. Here's she's just bitching about being wagoned and tried to active lurk.

Third, your multiball story shows that you think silence is the best approach. It isn't. However, a noob resisting an idea usually means the idea is bad for his faction. I am one of the few notorious people who will tell you, regardless of alignment, what the ideal town moves are at the start. Towards the end, I highjack the process for scum. See The last mini theme hosted by Flay Gunar. Someone like PV would lurk off a wagon.

The truth is people play based on their expectations of the setup. Much like chess. I have spent quite awhile teaching Klingon how the pieces move. You do that in this game, you get in their head.

Compare the rage in Sudoken and Pun Mafia versus Twlight Zone (reference townie Xiao Xiao Buns). Look at the scum PTs.

Now onto the world as you see it.

1273 is wrong. Klingon is the first real wagon. A few stray voters in a large doesn't count as a wagon because you want it to.

Sorry, I wasn't paying attention to the post itself as much as I was to responding. I skimmed there. And yes I thought that was weird that you were studying but maybe you study as a drinking game or its a euphemism or something.

That's an issue and poor town play or scum play. The devil is in the details. If you miss them because you're responding, then you aren't doing your team favors. My old teacher told me an adage (which I still break too much and will butcher.) God gave you two ears and one mouth for a reason. Listen twice as much as you speak.

Oh and your wagon analysis is off. See Legends of the Hidden Temple.

I expect a townie to have voted for Spiffeh at some point, thus convincing scum the wagon has a chance.

If a scum is wagoned early, scum have two options. Bus or find a counter. I think we both can agree bus is not likely an option. So Klingon is thrown out as a counter suggestion.

Going with the supposition that Klingon is town momentarily.

I would expect scum to vehemently white knight Klingon's wagon while actively avoiding any counters. TWIE fits this profile but he is an ass and does it to avoid my vca. The wagoners on the baby wagons would be more likely to be scum. The only exception would be a wagoner who jumps on Spifflop despite stating something like Klingon is still scum.

Klingoncelt is the type of person scum push as a first or last resort if scum. If she was town, her wagon should have been rapid as fuck. It wasn't. It's a name here and a name there gradually.

Alright, are you really calling me poor town or scum because I had not yet gotten around to reading in depth the request for reads as I was still reading the first part of the thread to catch up?

...

I mean... What?! Mind if I ask why you expect me to read in depth the posts currently being posted in the thread and catch up with the thread reading those posts simultaneously? Because let's be honest, dear. That doesn't make sense at all. Why would I read posts in depth now that could be taken out of context later? Part of good reading is understanding the place the other person is coming from and glass I had not yet gotten to that place, I was not able to properly read. Calm down, please. I am, in fact, trying to work with you. But give me time. You ask for a decision now, but I still feel the need to gather information. It is out of my comfort zone to try to put down a decision so quickly and I don't like being pressured.

I expect you to slow down so you can digest it. I am trying to work with you. Posting before understanding is poor play. I am telling you that because I want you to be better and not dismissed as a village idiot or scum.

Call me in thread when you want to talk.

I have been wanting you two to discuss Elyse for ages. Jeanne isn't giving me specific reasons so maybe since you agree with her there, you will help her.

We're all manipulative. It's all our nature. I am just up front about it. If you can't see my agenda, worry.

The no strong stance thing is the only legit question. It should be obvious to you that she was going in alphabetical order. So everybody up to Eagle. That should have answered that question. I really can't believe you'd miss that.

If she was going in abc order, then why wasn't the wall posted with names in abc order? It wasn't obvious to me.

@gwen, I see the same pattern. I would like you to come to the realization I have, so let's work this out.

Where do you see scum doing that?

Jeanne is incompetent. Don't hold your breath. I also don't understand how I haven't been "getting dirty" - I've pushed Kling and was the first to call out randomidget. I've called Jaqen's case bullshit and dismantled your case before it got so full of misreps that no one was taking it seriously and I didn't bother trying. You literally make things up to fit your narrative.

You started mafia knowing exactly how to play? I've read some of her previous play. I know at least a little bit who I'm talking to. Give her room and space to grow and work with her. Or you can ask her if maybe you can make a deal in which you don't play together until you see growth. Either of these options are helpful and respectful of the fact that Jeanne, is, in fact, a human being just like the rest of us and deserves the same kind of respect. Attacking people personally simply hurts that person more and makes it harder for them to overcome their adversity. Please speak no more harm of her in this game. It's rather rude and hurtful and I don't expect you would enjoy hearing the same from another.

Getting defensive is not getting your hands dirty, it's trying to stay alive. It's also relatively scummy, and increasingly so when the only cases you deal with are those of others.

Anyone can point out something wrong or a possible other side of a case against a town player, since town can never know beyond a shadow of a doubt that the player they make a case against is scum. This takes no such talent, and tearing cases down, I've found, is also a tactic more commonly used by scum. A good town player criticizes constructively and builds on a case or explains why they disagree. Because every case will simply be a point of view, an addition to the picture. Tearing people down and intimidating them out of sharing their cases is scummy because it keeps town reinstating the whole picture.

So because of this, your entire post is a scum claim, in my eyes.

While Elyse is absolutely out of line, this is not a scumclaim. It's ok to say a player is sucking of difficult to read, it is not ok to attack the person.

Jeanne's weakness is in her articulation, which I am trying to get her to come out and do.

Scum attack to discredit arguments. Here, Elyse cannot discredit what does not exist so it is a null tell.
