Am I not allowed to subscribe to the ban thread?

I'm talking about the Ban/Restriction Announcements thread

I've always been subscribed to it so I get email notifications when a new post is made. As a mod it is very useful for quick notification about a player I may currently have in a game, preinned for a game, etc.

Except every couple months or so - it is random frequency - the subscription is removed. I go in and re-subscribe, and I get the emails again for a while, until the next time.

Is someone actively doing that? Is there a reason for it?

Also it doesn't even show up in my bookmarks, despite saying "unbookmark topic" at the bottom of the thread.

global topics were added very poorly to phpbb. I assume that's responsible for the issues you are facing.
