I'm not sure about literallypam, I mostly got the impression that they just quickly skimmed the first page and posted after getting poked...it could have been a scummy attempt to push Drixx to L-1 without realising that people had changed votes, so I'm not claiming that literallypam is town, just that the reasoning you gave is flawed.

Literallypam seems scummier to me now than Reubus, basically same reasoning as before, admittedly weak reason.

Yeah because being the 3rd or 4th person looks scummy, so I was just pre-empting the critcism, although apparently I did so badly. And if Drixx IS mafia, he'll probably outplay the village pretty well.

NK analysis, scum hunting and power roles generally prevent things like that from happening. As I said there is no case for Drixx being scum so there is no reason to be voting him outside RVS unless you're reaction fishing or trying to pressure him. Any other vote outside of RVS would imply that there is a case against the person you are voting. So, why did you vote Drixx?

I had to go back and recount the Drixx votes, can't believe I miscounted, but you're right.

As to assuming the IC is town...yeah, I did kind of assume that, newbie mistake I guess, has already been corrected.

Regarding Kagesong, I assume scum would be more paranoid, they have to lie constantly and worry about how their votes might give them away, I just have to tell truth & that shouldn't give scumreads.

About literallypam, I think scum would defend themselves more vigorously...especially if they can discuss strategy with their partner.

I've generally included both you and Drixx being the Pam promoters, but I framed a few arguments as Drixx being the leader of the Pam train (when you pretty much were).

You're asking for this recognition.

If Pam flips scum, as you suspect according to your vote, then you'll pretty much be a lock clear town. That would make you the main night kill target, especially is the public acknowledges you as the train leader.

I'm framing Drixx as the leader so in the event of Pam!Scum, Drixx is the preferred NK, because he is the more suspicious of the two of you (to me).

So here's what I think is going to happen.

1) TPR counter claims and Rufus hangs. GG, Town wins.

2) No one counter claims, Rufus is able to clear 1 more person.

Considering we're at 7 players, that limits the POE to 5 players.

Rufus and (assume myself) whoever he roleblocked will die tonight and tomorrow night.

We will be able to narrow down the POE to:
7 players alive, 5 in the POE - D2
5 players alive, 4 in the POE - D3
3 players alive, 3 in the POE - D4 (MYLO)

All we have to do is Town block 2 players in the POE and it should be GG.

AKA, we need a strong POE of 3 players today, assuming Rufus IS the real Town Power Role.

I very much want to make notachipmunk a Town Block member.

Considering Reubus' push on Rufus after the Panther flip, I find this push SOMEWHAT logical for both a villager and a wolf, so I cannot put Reubus as a clear DESPITE the early push on Pam.

Same goes for Drixx, his lines avoided contact with almost everyone else other than zeroing in on Pam (and pushback on me for wanting more lines from him).

I'm HOPING Rufus isn't the real TPR and we can end this in a perfect sweep today, and the real TPR will come forward.

ffs man, I hit scum so early in the game. It was the first proper case (the one against Drixx was pretty bad) the game had seen. This sounds like WIFOM but why the hell would I, as scum jump on my partner at post 47? And the Rufus after pam was so damn obvious from my posting that it hurts my eyes. He gave terrible reasons as to why pam was town. I claim VT. Why would I screw over my partner so hard (and quite unnecessarily so) if I were scum? This makes no sense. I have a huge apology to make to my fellow town. I am 1-shot bulletproof. I simply forgot. It has never happened before in a game. It makes a huge change in how to evaluate things; however, it gives us two conftown.

There's an upside though. The roleblocker knew there was a 1-shot BP and left Rufus alive. Our lynch pool is {Kagesong, notachipmunk, Reubus}. We'll get to lynch two of them... so let's work the problem.

Kage: D1 I got a bad vibe off your posts mostly the focus on nightkills and discussion of scum strategy. The late pam vote didn't count and may have been an attempt to try to redeem yourself after it had happened - or possibly happened since the Frog vote would be the determining factor. D2 the logic was a bit odd. I was a little bit ok with the Frog isn't auto-town thing, but I also thought that maybe it was due to not claiming as I thought claiming wasn't always a good idea, but I suppose I was wrong on that. But Frog not being town and also not being a roleblocker required Rufus to either not be JK or lying about who he jailed - which would be a very anti-town thing to do if he was town, which at that point seemed like the only possibility due to lack of counterclaim on JK (since a counterclaim would mean a town win - one of them would HAVE to be scum and it would very untown to not claim JK there). On the plus side you are very much unafraid to put out opposing thoughts.

Like I said, anything that is off let me know what and why. This is pretty much just my thought process atm and not a super in-depth analysis.

Here's another sort though everyone kind of post with what each person would have to think through each day as scum- which obv are not all accurate since not all 4 of you are scum.

Rufus: Would have had to use crazy mind control on the real jailkeeper to convince them that they are not the JK so escape freely to victory as conftown. In other words, impossible.

Drixx: D1 would have had to have told pam he was gonna play very risky with some kind of plan in mind, like let's target each other, and then pam either messed it up and Drixx thinks he will be conftown for a solid read very early on and can win even by lynching his partner D1. N1 idk why he would NK Panther. D2 hammered PC, would have seen Frog say he'd have a FOS on anyone who hammered so he NK'ed Frog to avoid. With Frog gone easier to claim BP since the main person who would likely question it is gone. Yes; scum partners frequently vote for each other in RVS or shortly after RVS. Reubus' vote was super early and from my perspective (since I know for sure I am indeed 1-shot BP as I've claimed), that

Once literallypam moved into obvscum territory, Reubus had no safe opportunity to jump off the wagon unless I did so first, since I was the one who was pushing the case hard and refusing to relent. That by itself doesn't make him scum, but it does make one thing fairly clear: Between Reubus and myself, I'm the only one you have to assume intentionally bused a partner on day one if you posit me as scum. Reubus could have simply been doing some distancing and got stuck on the wagon with no safe opportunity to jump off.

I mean ... if Reubus had jumped off the wagon at some point once I was convinced pam was scum and expressed my confidence, and then pam flipped scum, how would Reubus getting off the wagon appear to you? It would look pretty bad right?

That means I know one of you is town and one of you is scum. If you both accept that my claim is true, then both of you have to make a case against each other and show why I should town read you, because ultimately my vote will be the deciding factor and determine who wins.

The problem is that you don't accept the premise that my claim is true, which is totally your prerogative. If you did/do accept the premise; however, and if you are town, then you would automatically know the other player is scum, and so starting from that premise and going to find evidence is logical and rational in that case, whereas it is almost never a good idea to use that approach in mafia when you aren't sure. The problem with how you evaluated me is that you didn't look at the evidence and let it tell you whether I'm telling the truth or not. You started with the premise that I'm scum and you quoted only things you could interpret to support that hypothesis. You also left out things that couldn't be used to make it look like I am scum but do give weight to me being honest. You also chose deliberately to interpret similar evidence differently in my case than in Reubus' case.


You also haven't explained why I should believe you are town. One thing that's weighing in your favor is that you are at least engaging. Reubus is dodging and I'm not sure why. It's not that many posts, so Occam's razor suggests he's trying to avoid doing what I asked because he's afraid I'll find a slip in the narrative he weaves (assuming he's scum).
