I will apply Fire's logic to myself and massive. We're hardly ever the same alignment so he is likely to be scum.
What I'm trying to get at Titus is this. You know I can be aggressive as scum, so town reading me for something as silly as pushing wagons in RVS seems a little premature.

I mean, I find it weird that you wanted to wagon NH for no reason at all and then question a second wagon that actually has some reasoning (valid or otherwise) behind it.
Saying that, I find it strange that NH want to wagon massive after saying RVS wagons are outdated.Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.- BlueBloodedToffee

OK, so you found no reasons to push a wagon anywhere and then questioned one when someone tried to get one going.
I'm not following the logic behind your actions at all. Do you propose we all sit back and wait for scum to make a scummy post?Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.- BlueBloodedToffee

Fair enough.

We've exited RVS so I think wagons should have something legitimate to back them up now.
Walk me through your change in thought process here.

OK, but you just said that it's funny that people expect you to explain things.
That implies to me that you don't like explaining your thoughts/reads etc and that means it's going to be hard to read you and you're just going to state things like they're fact and expect people not to question it because you 'don't explain things.'
I think a PL deals with this problem quite well.Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.- BlueBloodedToffee

So the reason I asked that question to NH is because I'm not seeing SirCakez as strongly scum as they are - their push feels forced. I really doubt a Fire-SC scumteam would open the game this way. If anything, I would think it would be more likely that Fire could be scum WKing town!SC. But NH forming pre-flip associatives like 106 is ew.
I feel like you've asked NH a loaded question and are now trying to push them based on their answer. I don't like this at all.
Also, your wording suggests that at this time you're reading SC as scum, is that correct? Because if so, you need to explain why NH's read is forced and if not, you need to explain the line that says 'not reading SCstrongly as scum as they are'.as
↑ Night Hunters wrote:Instead, you wereveryhyper about getting my RVS train to get traction. You said you were out of RVS and didn't unvote in 52, and were heavily pressuring our slot. In 63, you are objecting to a foundationless wagon on massive. If 85 and 88 are to be believed, that means you objected to a counterwagon to your townread that you forgot to Unvote solely because there was a lack of information to do so. Town generally don't discourage counterwagons to their townreads from forming based on lack of information.
Your Fire push here is half assed. You ask an obligatory question to Fire after it's been highlighted that we don't like his townread. Yet us calling out Fire for having a townread on your slot "gives you pause". You're talking out of both sides of your mouth. It reads as talk about anyone BUT SirCakez.
Hmm, did you roll scum Titus?
I should read posts properly before commenting on them. After rereading this post and going back to actually see what happened there are numerous things I disagree with here. SC, you need to correct me if I'm wrong because I find it kind of strange you haven't brought these points up yourself.
Firstly, I don't think SC was 'hyper' in trying to push your wagon and I certainly don't think he was aggressive in his push, I'm not seeing that at all and I think you're misrepping SC from a part of the game that was quiet with not much happening.
I also find town are much more likely to make consistency mistakes (such as fighting a wagon against their town read [even though this actually means nothing because it was still RVS]) and I think you know this so I don't like you pushing it.
I also disagree with your assertion that SC is 'pushing' Fire, he merely asked him why Fire is town reading him, that's not a push and you know it. You framing it up like this is scummy as fuck.
You're also throwing around far, far too many buzzwords for my liking and my alarm bells are ringing loudly. Soothe my concerns?
Talk to me about this because I'm not seeing it.
↑ SirCakez wrote:
This post is horrible. Obviously I'm going to dig into other reads. Should I just sit here and let myself be mislynched? No, that would be terrible play so yes I'm digging into your other reads. I hate how you're twisting this into "he wants attention on anyone else!"
VOTE: Night Hunters
Fire hasn't shown back up to explain his town read on me yet so I'm still waiting for him to explain further.
Can you clarify why you're voting NH please? It feels like you're saying 'you have a bad case so you must be scum.' Would that be a fair assumption?Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. He's complaining rather about the methods I am using to "oversell" my scumread, which is a thinly veiled discredit rather than a substantive response.
Titus, I really dislike your push on SC, like a lot. SC's posting has also been pretty decent over the past couple of pages and I'm concerned you haven't addressed this. I also agree with whoever said that SC has too many people pushing him, it's nothing solid, but it's enough to give me pause about his wagon alongside his recent posting.
I am also concerned that you are the main poster for your hydra (Has Dwlee produced any content yet?) I know for a fact you would take over if you rolled scum and I'm sure Dwlee would take over if you're town because I know you believe your general play-style is perceived as scummy so talk to me about this please.

↑ Night Hunters wrote:All he's done is basically say gee Fire, you need reasons. He's trying to deflect attention off himself.
Now, onto the actual issues you're expressing now. First, SC was hyper about the wagon but this seems a little semantic or a differnce of what is called hyper. SC was very vocal about getting people to hurry up and wagon our slot before we could post. If I thought it was aggressive, I'd say aggressive. Maybe impulsive you'd like better, but he was definitely pushing that hard.
Bullshit on town being more likely to make consistency mistakes. Town should be clear and transparent with their reads. If not, they are doing it wrong.
SC "pushing" fire is because he's desperate to have a place to go that isn't him.
Can you respond to my concerns about GL BBT?
~MamaBear
I disagree that he is trying to deflect attention away from him - how would you expect town!SC to react?
Again, I disagree that SC was pushing hard for your wagon. I don't see it. Scum are much less likely to make consistency mistakes because they're always thinking about what they post and does it fit with the narrative they're trying to sell. Town don't think about such things and are much more likely to post instinctively/on the fly without checking whether what they're saying lines up with previous posting. It's not bullshit, it's legit.
↑ Night Hunters wrote:We have been trying not to clutter the thread because we both generally post a butt ton.

OK, well I'm not asking you to clutter the thread. I'm asking you to take over some of the posting from Titus.
↑ GuiltyLion wrote:
I don't think I ever pushed NH, I poked at them to get a reaction and develop a read. If I were pushing them I'd be voting them.
My phrasing there isn't clear though, at the time I was null on SirCakez. I wanted to emphasize that I didn't think their reasons for scumreading him were all that alignment indicative. Basically, instead of reading it as "I'm seeing him scum, but not as much as they are", which seems to be how you're interpreting it, it should be read like "I see what they're saying, but I don't think it necessarily makes him scum".
I thought their points in 83 were valid, but then their 90 was way overconfident and I don't see pro-town motivation in it. Further, 106 didn't really show any of the deeper level thinking or doubt that I was looking for with my question, it was just "he's scummy". Again, I didn't really disagree with their points about SC, but I didn't think they were as indicative as NH seemingly thinks they are in 90 and 106.
Maybe pushed was too strong - you certainly looked interested in going down that avenue though. The avenue you led them down with your question.
Your phrasing was perfectly clear but now you're trying to change it. It's not 'how I'm interpreting it' it's exactly what your words were saying.
↑ GuiltyLion wrote:
So the reason I asked that question to NH is because I'm not seeing SirCakez- their push feels forced.as strongly scum as they are
The 'as' is key, it implies you at least agree to an extent with what NH are seeing. So it's pretty scummy for you to try and turn this around to say I'm interpreting your posts incorrectly, I think you realised you couldn't respond to my post and as such needed to try and change the original meaning of what you wrote.
↑ massive wrote:

There must be some sort of contribution you can make?
Tell me specifically what you liked about his question and explanation because I have a serious problem with both of them. What do you think of the above regarding GL? What can you see to 'dislike' about GL's posting?

I am sorry. I may be a mama hen but I absolutely do not run a charity house. You're griping that I'm uncharitable. Well, if scum are obvious, they are obvious. I don't do pity parties for scum who do not fake reads well. Here, I find it very telling you're saying that there's evidence against SirCakez but there's not enough for a legitimate scumread. You're criticizing the validity of my read while hand waiving the inconsistencies in SirCakez's read on us. We can play the semantic game about whether he was "hyper" about pushing my wagon, but SirCakez was. Then, he was objecting to a counterwagon on his town read. He needs rope for that.
You're attempting to copy and mutilate arguments BBT made against your push on us. Bbt caught you using a leading question and you've changed it to a response to a question means someone else cannot use it.

1. I had not noticed tojam's early vote on SirCakez til this post and I went back and re-read. After seeing it and realizing that his next post is hopping from SC to you, I find this wishy-washy and certainly potential posturing against town!SirCakez. It gives me a town-lean on you and SirCakez because tojam's latest post(s?) have not changed my mind that he's scummy. Would you agree with this assessment?
2. What do you think of shaddowez' post 214? Lots of good questions and content. How does this post and other shaddowez actions fit into your posturing investigaton?
3. Since I never actually voted for SirCakez, did my exchange with him give you the impression that I was pushing him? If you have time to read all of it, what is your over-all take-away from both our stances during the exchange and how does my behavior fit into your posturing investigation?
4. This looks like possible shadow-casting. Would you agree? massive has been getting stronger on my scumdar and if SirCakez is town I definitely see the alleged posturing here.
1. I would agree with that assessment completely, but tojam has since outright claimed a PR which means he is probably town
UNVOTE:
2. 214 is a very townie-looking post - most of it aligns exactly with how I was reading things. Shaddowez is certainly not the first person I would come after for posturing, but I've also never played with or read from much from him before so I don't have any beat on how capable he is as scum.
3. Your initial exchange with him did give me the impression that you were setting yourself up to move there, particularly "I see things that are worrisome but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt" is exactly the kind of thing scum would say if they want to look like they're scumreading someone but don't want to jump on yet while everyone else is doing their dirty work.
I also didn't understand how your question about the logical train of thought (A therefore B) would uncover anything alignment indicative, and I wanted to see where you took that, but then you dropping the conversation left the exchange overall rather null for me. Can you explain how this lead you to townread SirCakez?
4. Yes, massive is currently in my lynchpool for today

This is garbage. I literally explained that I did agree with what NH was seeing in that I also -see- it. I did not agree that it was necessarily scummy, especially not to the degree that NH is saying. We agree on what SirCakez did, we disagreed that it meant he was scum, and NH further polluted the read and drove me away from the wagon with 90 and 106, and making a bunch of arguments that assume SirCakez is scum first to describe his posts second ("he's asking for a bailout, he's faking his reads").
Alright, my lynch pool is slowly narrowing.
I don't want to lynch Fire, Tojam, GL, NH, and SC.
Everyone else is varying degrees of 'need to do more' or 'I could lynch today'. I would really like to get a massive wagon going as well.Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.- BlueBloodedToffee

Forgot I had quoted them; read this post with the one above.
Dwlee, can you explain how I'm obvtowning? Not something people usually say about me.
GL, are you reading Shadow as town for 214 or is it just a townie looking post? To me, it looks like a whole load of easy questions that scum could ask and outside of that, Shadow is a non-presence. I'm also happy with your 318 as a response.
I agree with SC that massive/Kirr are looking like good lynch options.
Kirr continuing to push Tojam after he has claimed PR w/ no counter (a PR that will never be left alive no less) is pretty scummy and she needs to be lynched.

I feel quite conflicted on the NH slot, but I'm not interested in sorting them fully Today. I have seen enough posts that I think have town motivation behind them to sort them as town for now and begin to look elsewhere.
Usually, on D1, you can guarantee one or two scum will just take a backseat and watch the action unfold due to the amount of town to scum ratio. They don't need to do anything, just sit back and let town drive the game state (intercept as and when they need to). These are the scum I'm trying to weed out and massive fits the bill.
Kirr, try to look past the meta arguments and look at the content that is being posted.Meta this. Meta that. Meta Everything. Meta is not a good scum-hunting tool. PEOPLE CAN MANIPULATE THEIR META. Stop it. Stop. It. Now.- BlueBloodedToffee

It really isn't.

Well we got a problem then. Your play boils down to scumread the noons and it's a place town winds up a lot.
I want GL SC or Jeanne ATM.
You didn't answer my question. Does the scum read still come down to his defence of SC? Because I'm not buying the 'broken record' schtick you're trying to sell right now. If you consistently attack someone, they're going to consistently defend themselves.
Can you rephrase that sentence about my play as well? I don't understand it.
No, I'm reading your lack of contribution as scummy. I'm not sure how you're missing this.
That is an awful vote.
Walk me through SC's 'scum trajectory' please.
It would be massive. Though I'm doubting it now.

I am disappointed that you are not addressing my reasons for doing so or offering a valid explanation of why the massive wagon is good to lure me back in a proactive manner, and are instead doing this.
Could you sheep me while you try to decide on how to explain your massive case? I promise good things.
You offered no reasons. You're also trying to lynch a claimed PR which is scummy as fuck and I know you'd have the balls to try this shit as scum.
I offered my reasons on massive, you obviously didn't think they were good enough for you to join the wagon.
