Whereas as town I would think you're uncomfortable with the idea of having surrendered your vote so early so it would make sense that you're making excuses for it.

i mean, you're asking me to affirm your perception of my scumplay? what am i supposed to say: "yes ur right and therefore i am town! " ? i like to think my scumgame is better than my towngame but as scum here it's hard for me to say whether I'd enter cautiously like I am now or decide to overcompensate in the other direction like you suggested.

You won't be able to see it in my newer games because I got to the point where I simply don't explain my reads if it's based on logic like I'm using here because people don't understand emotional reasoning, but if you look at some of my older games in early 2015 there will be lots of cases in the early game similar to how I feel about you.

Since I got a ridiculous role like this one I'm going to make the effort to explain more of my reads and be more transparent and shit.

i find meta in general is unreliable (for me at least, and i think for most people who try to use it) especially if you didn't experience it first hand. someone being defensive about their meta is a tell tho. and that's kinda what u just did. just a bit. it was a bit scummy but i forgive u bc i am ur biggest fan ;3

You wouldn't be able to see me making cases like that as EITHER alignment recently. It's not a useful meta tell either way it's simply outside of the norm for me because I don't usually expend this much energy.
