I'm with pie here, I think, with the added (possibly wrong) idea that it might be useful for conf town for someone who is generally spot on with reads (like, if we had anti in the game, or if ranger wasn't gonna be apparently!conf).

@ranger, pie: I think I agree with ranger (or ranger agrees with me ) that flipping town could be useful, not only for confirming reads but also for a bit of direction. Like...if anti was in the game id want him flipped. It also leaves scum less wiggle room around mislynches. We don't have long to use it either way!

i dont really see the point in asking someone who never gives explanations to elaborate on something. maybe my tone is off. i play different in different games. what little content spiff has as well as his relative disconnect from this game are the basis for my scumread.

Pie, I can't see why you are pushing this? Spiffeh's reads are kinda terrible and I can't see any effort from him to interact with the slots either. The only person with weirder reads is lala, who's 'eeeh, maybe' and 'I've read you as scum before when you were town' and 'gut' seem super forced.

Why would I not make up a fake read then? No that doesn't make sense either but I'm not sure what to say to this. Is town really obligated to have a read on everyone or explain why they don't? Just nothing they've done pushed me either way, now I think they are town because we know they are town. But nothing they have done seems alignment indicative at all.

I don't know why you didn't make up a fake read: you tell me. my thought is that as town you'd go through all the players and try to sort them, not make a list and randomly leave two out: me I can understand because I was low content, but they'd had drama and attention and a distinct style and your response now is you were just 'meh' about it? Also, the ranger comment looks baity to me.

@pip, there has been discussion over lala's half arsed reads already: is there anything else that makes you think she's town? don't quote something of hers, I want your thoughts.
