So, I'm trying to finish reading the 60+ pages, and I see Titus refuse to read the game. Some thoughts come to my mind:
1) Who doesn't need to read the game to solve it? Scum does, because they already know who is scum and town.
2) Why would a scum replacing in need to read a 60+ pages game when they have daytalk?- NJAC

Meh, daytalk is mentioned in the OP. Also self meta is almost useless so your first sentence says nothing about your alignment. In post 1634, Titus wrote:I actually read more as scum than I do town. :-p Like 90% of my games I refuse to read garbage.
Why do you think scum have daytalk? I didn't see any indication of that.
You're either scum or lazy/careless town, so you deserve my vote:

I haven't finished reading, but I do think it's necessary to read the whole game to form better reads. In post 1648, Titus wrote: VOTE: Njac
If you thought Day 1 had importance, you could actually show me where. You would have some semblence of a scumread beyond Titus isn't playing like I do. You would have scumhunting in your ISO.
Day 1 is garbage until we get a scum flip. Then it's gold, provided no weird vote fucking.
Your absolute refusal to have read the thread shows either that you agree with me on D1 being garbage (thus your vote is bad, and highly scum indicative), you copied my lack of desire to read (hypocritical vote at best, likely scumflail), or disingenuous poking designed to avoid scumhunting (scummy).
Why don't your actions match your words?
You apparently prefer to base your reads on interactions, and given that I'm reading your predecessor as null leaning scum, I want to get more from you.

WRT atm: kinda fencesitting on some things going on during D1, lack of contribution, his vote in 262 for eggman feels ungenuine and opportunistic (here I'm assuming egg is actually a lynchbait). Not a strong read but enough to read him leaning scum more than town.In post 1654, Titus wrote:Both slots.
If it's necessary to read the whole game, why did you randomly throw shade on two biggest obvtown posters here? You're acknowledging that players like interactions, yet that style you argue is anti-town.
WRT Smithereens: basically what was said during the beginning of D1 that scum would support a strong player like rob instead of attacking him. His interactions with Creature about the egg crumb doesn't convince me. Again not a strong read.
I'm not randomly throwing shade on two players (which two are you referring to, BTW?), I'm just trying to interact with the currently active players. I also want to understand how you are supposed to scumhunt without reading the past pages. And I'm voting you because I'm scum-reading your slot, due to what your predecessor did and your current attitude of not reading.
I just try to keep the game moving as I finish catching up, of course my reads can change but it's worth to put some pressure meanwhile.- NJAC

Well, I suppose you mean Smith/DGB slot.
Why exactly is DGB an obvtown poster according to you? Does posting "sarcastic, moderately aggressive but not antitown" make DGB obvtown? I don't buy that.
Also:
1) I haven't randomly threw shade on DGB, as you said. I just gave my thoughts according to what I had read, as requested by Infinity.
2) I never said interactions are anti-town, you misrepped me. Interactions are obviously necessary to scumhunt. I said you're lazy/careless town (if in fact you're town) for not reading.
Your attempt to buddy DGB calling her an obvtown poster is noted, BTW.
My vote remains on you.- NJAC

1) There's ABSOLUTELY NO SCUMSLIP. I repeat what I already said (and that's why I asked you if you were indeed reading the game): Daytalk is mentioned in the very first post of this thread. In fact it has been mentioned throughout the game several times. In post 1721, Eggman wrote:My apologies. I was looking for questions on the current page, and I found none.In post 1681, NJAC wrote:

NAI, at least without Titus' flip. If either Titus or NJAC flips town, it's just a weird coincidence. If one flips mafioso, it's reason for suspicion on the other, since it stands to reason Smithereens or MM4 could have left a message to their replacement in the PT along the lines of what the OP was.
Titus gains no town point for supposedly trying to catch me with a possible scumslip, as you said, it's more likely that she faked a townslip there. I mean scum would be more careful about mentioning daytalk. And scumTitus could try to fake that she didn't know about it.
2) Look: I literally copied, pasted and made minor changes to the first post of Titus. It has ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to do with our alignments. Scum wouldn't be that blatantly obvious. If something my entrance copying Titus is "akward" as Infinity said, but not AI.- NJAC

Ok. Reached page 40 yesterday. Deadline is getting closer. I'll try to finish reading today later or tomorrow.
For what I've read I find Creature's slot town, same for Infinity and Eggman. Null leaning town on Derek and Dragon. Null Fox. I like what I've read from PJ's on D1 and recently so he's one of my biggest townreads.
That leaves Smith/DGB and atm/Titus' slots as my scumreads.
I find PJ is a very competent/experienced pro-town player, so I'll just sheep him for now:

Just skimmed some earlier pages to find PJ's case on DGB.
@Infinity: what do you think about this:
In post 1451, petroleumjelly wrote:Except you just acted like you had previously read and had thoughts on Post #1282, which was on page 52 of the game and literally a page before crazycrabman was lynched.
There are so many small issues with your posts since replacement it is almost difficult to parse it out.In post 1444, DrippingGoofball wrote:Yeah... when I read that I thought they were scum together... but he flipped town.
->a.)It is not believable you joined the game and did not realize crazycrabman was lynched Day One. It strikes me as deliberately "look how crazy I am, I'm DrippingGoofball!"
->b.)In the same vein, your first two posts are completely at odds (you called Creature Town but then generalized that players "hunting for SK" are scum, when Creature was pretty much the only player who was actively making theories about who the SK could be).
->b.)Your "placeholder" scumreads as of "Page 10" are not very believable because many of the players in your "MKAY" and "SCUM" had a comparable amount of posts -- that is to say, hardly any.
->d.)After you voted for MarioManiac4, Creature pointed out a concern as to why MarioManiac4 might be Town. In response, you said that quote made you think MarioManiac4 might be scum with crazycrabman. Which -- beyond the fact that this suggests you have read that far into the game -- is rather a non sequitur given that crazycrabman has flipped Town. It does not address at all whether MarioManiac4 would still be scum in the event crazycrabman is Town. Essentially, you said nothing while dismissing a potential reason for thinking MarioManiac4 might be Town.
You are acting purposefully obtuse.
So what all have youactuallyread, then?- NJAC

Pre-in me for these, please. In post 2027, Sméagol wrote:Coming up
I have 2 games lined up for the near future. This will be after my holiday, in September. I plan to do a micro first, though I have to develop it further first, and after that I'll do my first mini theme, which is practically ready, and has been reviewed by Ircher.

Players start out witharole, but can exchange it once a day for what's in the box. This can be better.. Or worse. And you'll be stuck with it until the next day- and night cycle. Once every 24 hours or so, I'll put something new in the box myself. I'll have to develop this further, it started as a closed initial set-up with a specific set of roles which would rotate in and out the mystery box, but I've decided I want to randomly generate these roles to certain extent, and I'm thinking I may want to do so with the initial set-up itself. Roles would exist of the actual role, and a modifier, which could be good or bad.

Everone has 2 roles (or modes as I call them in-game). You choose whichever you want to use before the next day- and night cycle. Only one mode is active, and the other mode's abilities are not available / active. A generic example: you may have an active investigative ability in mode 1, and a passive protective ability in mode 2. You need to choose which one you want to use the next day- and night cycle. There will be a few vanilla equivalents though. Like I said it's practically ready, though I may change a role. But I want to do a quick micro first, so I'm joining the micro queue first in September.Copyright © MafiaScum. All rights reserved.
