Email Notifications are not working

I am not receiving email notifications for PMs or my subscribed threads.
This led to me receiving a prod already for 2 days inactive in a game that started less than 3 days ago because I did not get notification of the "Day 1 start" PM or the activity in the game thread.
And before anyone asks, yes I have the appropriate settings turned on in the UCP

I have also been having the same issue. I didn't change any setting. One day, I stopped receiving subscription and PM notifications. Is there an answer for this?

somebody probably turned it off and didn't tell anybody,
OR,
we should switch to SendGrid so we don't get flagged for spamming because some spammer is using our same ip address block (i can send more info on this if needed, coding team~)

Should be resolved. Also changed the sender display name to be "MafiaScum" instead of "dontpanic"

At the same time, is there a way for me to not receive these e-mails? I don't want an e-mail every time someone sends me a message.

User Control Panel > Board preferences > Edit global settings > Notify me on new private messages
