It's probably something related to post count/usergroups/join date/some other achievable requirement, but I am unable to add a text-only signature to my signature. No pictures, 0 bbcode and still doesn't update.

To turn signatures on to auto display under posts, you need to go into user control panel, edit posting defaults and change the attach my signature by deafult over to yes.

You can also do it manually each time in the full reply screen.
