Okay two points here
a) You keep saying that WotC is someone "sacrificing your fun so they can have fun". What makes your right to "have fun" any more important than theirs? If multiple people are WotCing you out, what makes your (singular) enjoyment so much more important than their (plural) enjoyment?
b) Not sure on this one but I'm like 90% sure you're an alt of a certain user. If I'm correct, you've had similar problems on both accounts. Why have you concluded that the problem is the site rather than the way you behave?Last edited by Davsto on Wed Mar 29, 2017 10:15 am, edited 1 time in total.- Davsto

Is "some people's behaviour is far worse" your opinion? Have you considered that you are biased in your own favour? In post 621, Yume wrote:
As an answer to your second point, some people's behavior is far worse than mine, yet they aren't being WoTCed. That's why the site in general is the problem. In post 607, Davsto wrote:Okay two points here

Consistency is the main deciding factor in this case.
Okay, sure, maybe the person you're talking about did say some unpleasant things. However, it is not consistent across games - in most games he is perfectly fun to play with, therefore he isn't consistently WotCed.
On the other hand, your reputation for flaking is, from what I can tell, rather large (didn't you even get officially punished for it?), with you even admitting to intentionally flaking out of games because you find VTs boring. That means that (a) more people have experienced or are aware of it (so there are more people to WotC you) and (b) its consistency means that people are less willing to "give you a chance" - i.e. they associate you as a player with flaking above other factors.
Also, there's the fact that some people enjoy playing with more aggressive and harsher players because it makes games quite intense. Sure, some don't, but it rarely makes a game seriously unenjoyable unless there is high levels of toxicity.
However, no-one likes to play with someone who flakes, as it slows the game down and countless other things which could be simply avoided by never allowing the player in the first place. So, a player goes to the mod, says "hey, look, this player has failed to play a lot of games they've signed up for, do you really want this?" and the mod agrees, or maybe the mod even does it of their own accord.- Davsto

I'd love to play but I've basically had no enjoyment out of the last few games I've played - no motivation, no drive to scumhunt, barely even remembering what's gone on. Maybe it's the increased workload from college or maybe I've just stopped really caring about it.In post 639, Firebringer wrote:I miss you in games dav
Nothing wrong with the game though, not part of the hate mafia club, just haven't found myself enjoying it and think it's better to take a break than try and force myself into a game to enjoy it. I'll play a game if I see a game which super catches my interest but for now I'm happy to just be part of the community.- Davsto

If they WotC a player because they believe they are a problematic player, are they not also saving the rest of the players in the game from having to put up with them?In post 653, Yume wrote:
And let me guess, WoTCing someone isn't selfish at all?In post 633, Davsto wrote:Also you still haven't addressed my point in that post about "why is your singular enjoyment more important than others' plural enjoyment" but I think at this point your selfishness speaks for itself. - Davsto
