I just didn't get Creature's joke. When I thought about it a second time, it totally reads as a joke much better than as a serious vote. So I get that.

However doom's "joke confidence" makes perfect sense to me as a not-joke. That's why I'm thinking he could have played it off as a joke after I called him out on it, and that's why I'm voting him right now.

I think they are just *called* wagons. Like, in my experience they rarely are the actual bandwagon effect in demonstration. I voted doom for a reason. Flimsy reason for sure, but it wasn't "sheeping" or totally random and I'd like some pressure on him.

. Votes without saying much, it's not helpful even early in the game. That townreads list was super quick to come out, also no explanation, but then again I don't think the mafia would be so eager to townread people (they want to keep the number of suspects as large as possible).

looks more genuine in 26, 56 and 104. I'm still not confident in calling him town (because that's exactly how I play when I'm scum), but for now I'll UNVOTE: doomfeathers.

(as a player). All this spam and fluffposts and flickering FOSes, reads without much explanation (thankfully he finally said why he thinks *I* am scum), also repeatedly calling me a "banned user" (seriously?). It seems like this is just his playstyle, a really annoying playstyle, but not necessarily scummy. He's null to me right now.

Aristophanes

. Why are people so eager to lynch that guy? All he has is RVS content. I don't think he's said a single thing that wasn't a joke. Not helpful for sure, but definitely not enough to keep calling him scum 6 pages later. I need more to go on to vote someone.

I think is town. There are posts I like from him (95, 96, 119), there's some things I don't like (mostly the sheeping and the weak pushes/questioning Transcend) but I think scum would be more panicked and aggressive at this stage.

Unfortunately the circlejerk irritates the hell out of me and I can't focus on reading individual people when about 1/4 of the game consists of Transcend's spam and super confident scum reads on me and anyone who dares defend me. I literally don't care if he's town at this point. He either has to cut the crap or get lynched. This thread isn't the only place he's been harassing me btw. I never expressed this kind of confidence in my reads. Not even in my other game where I spent 90% of my time tunneling on one person before I got killed N1. Even in that game I considered the possibility I could be wrong. You don't do any of that, so I'm not valuing any of your "strong reads" very highly.

Okay then. Imagine town follows your lead and gets me lynched. I'm revealed as town. What happens then? What information does my flip provide? Is it worth the day and the mislynch? What happens to your reads in that case?

I know where you're coming from re: confidence because I also don't think a weak push is enough to elicit reaction from scum. But I think you should at least consider the possibility your scum reads are town and be prepared to re-evaluate your other reads if your tunnel gets mislynched. Otherwise on D2 you'll be back at square zero.

Also I'm always defensive. I'm not used to being seen as scummy when I'm town so I flip out. It's NAI for me.

I like that in post 95 he didn't join your wagon because it looked like a non-RVS wagon and he wasn't comfortable with it this early. It's what I would do.

I also like that in 96 he clarified on Creature's behalf instead of trying to frame him as scummy.

I think "the people" was just an expression. He was probably null/townreading you at the time and trying to get more people to reconsider their suspicions on you by asking you to explain your vote.

I don't get the reaction either but I don't think I find it scummy. Could just be confirmation bias on my part though.

The other posts are fluff/null. I could see both town!Aubrey and scum!Aubrey posting them.

I think the award bit was an emotional reaction to me calling his reads rubbish. He's probably not used to that.

The only reason I'm holding my vote off is because I like my vote having weight. I want my vote to really mean something when I place it on someone. I'll also rarely move my vote away unless I find a good reason to. This is why I'm reluctant to vote lurkers... and I don't have anyone else to vote atm. I don't have a solid scumread on any of the active players right now.

As of right now, probably Aristophanes, since all he has is fluff. I don't think MariaR would try so hard to defend someone from an early wagon if she was scum, even if she was scum with them. As for Aubrey idk. I've overanalysed the hell out of that guy so anything I think about him right now is probably biased.

In case you're still wondering about my hammer statement that made you nervous, I was hypothetically given the choice to hammer one of 3 people, all of whom I had null reads on. I just picked the one whose flip I felt would give town the most information. I don't usually do "information lynches" like that unless I'm all out of options. Feel free to review my other game where I died as town and you'll see I said pretty much the same thing there (except about a vig shot).

At the moment I'm slightly suspecting that sad1492 and MariaR could be scum distancing from each other.
