Transcend upon rolling town JOAT. I really hope he doesn't get N1ed with a strongman. That'd suck. It's a little bit of bad luck that he rolled this instead of VT since I can 100% see a scum team burning the strongman on him as a fear kill. It wouldn't even necessarily be good play by them or bad play by Transcend in this case; just lucky.

Transcend just voted all 3 mafia in 2 pages. I can't even begin to describe how amused I am by that.

I'm hoping that Transcend doesn't decide to claim something early on and rely on the bulletproof/jailkeep to stay alive.

I think Transcend vs rb is a pretty good match up. I think you're right that they'll be the key players here. ironstove has mentioned before that his scum game is lacking (at the end of a newbie game I played with him, Banana Split). It'll be interesting to see how that goes down.

shannon I've seen as scum before but not town. As scum while I was spectating I had her as pretty much the townread I wouldn't have questioned myself on. She did a really good job and I think that was her first game too, so I'm interested to see her play as town and whether she manages to look that amazingly townie again.
Impoetic I'm friends with. She should be able to obvtown nicely but the issue I find with her town play is she starts to coast after getting townread, and doesn't have any confidence in her reads.
I'm interested to see how Lil Uzi goes with being the Follower too. The one game I played with him he had good reads but was lynchbait I think. Though with that said, in that game scum Transcend was strongarming his lynch so it's also possible he's not usually lynchbait.

The rest I don't really know enough to say anything either way. TTTT and Kohai are both alts I think. iamafluffyrabbit knows ironstove from off-site so maybe he'll have a chance at catching him based off play?

Mostly ssbm got all the scum roles nailed, disregarding the ninja. They're assuming Uzi is an ungated Tracker though, because of the way he worded his result, partly. I think ssbm just doesn't have the experience right now to know how things usually err to townsided because of the scum natural advantage (not to mention that I think daychat on its own is quite an advantage), I'm kind of impressed to see setup spec coming from a fairly fresh newb tbh.

As far as Uzi, yeah, it's possible.

I wonder what Titus believes the setup to be at this point. I'm pretty sure this is all leading to a question of what would happen if a 1-shot ability were roleblocked too.

D1 was kinda weird though for some reason. I can follow the thought process Titus was running on but there was some resistance to the rb wagon (albeit mostly town resistance with some side of ironstove - which I'm still confused that people haven't caught on to since he was the one who made the meta case then flipped suddenly).

I think this is a case of D1 dragging on too long (or at least feeling that way) so town isn't rereading, and they should.

But I'm guilty of that myself quite often so ehhh. Laziness, mostly. In some cases people don't have the time.

Actually this is kinda funny because I actually did run to double check he was definitely a VT at the post Rask linked.

And yeah it looks like they're definitely lynching a PR today. Which is amusing because LUV lied about his role so if they flip off Titus and onto him he's kind of boned. Titus at least hid how many shots she had, so scum will probably not bother to roleblock her and just go for the flat kill. If gerry protects correctly then she'll have a chance to get a result out. That's if she trusts that there's a doc in the game and they'll be on her. Otherwise she'll have to gamble with the jailkeep.

@mod-- Hypothetical question that you may not be able to answer: Are modifiers (if they exist) applied randomly (like roles) or are they mod-assigned to specific roles as part of the setup?

This is a difficult question to figure out if I can answer.

In the case of the neighbours I did randomize. The rest were calculated. I can no comment but I can't see a real reason to do that aside from the fact there's no real truthful answer I can give here without giving away that the neighbour claims are true.

Or I could just say it was all calculated because I DID re-randomize the neighbours the first two times because it ended up with both JOATs the first time and I think doc and goon the second time and I could just see town taking that leap of faith and claiming.

I can't see the effect the question should have regardless. If it was random then it could land on the Uni backup anyway. If it was decided then I could very well have decided to put the Uni backup as a neighbour. Unless he's going to try playing "read the mod's personality" which is just plain silly.

Maybe something like "There were no further randomizations other than player to role after the setup was passed by the review team."?

Uzi outed that shannon went nowhere early in the day. Impoetic pointed that out but she won't do anything about it because she lacks any amount of confidence in her reads and opinions.

All PRs except the doctor is outed at this point. And town if they flip off shannon will likely go to him (gerryoat) despite him having been on rb early on replace in and the attempted counterwagon by TTTT.

People are suggesting LUV follow Titus tonight and Titus claim to her neighbour what action she's taking and the target. Scum will just roleblock Titus and this town will take it for a guilty between LUV/Titus.

Some here may remember may scum chat discussion in newbie 1714 about how the vandit wagon was inevitably going to be villagery so I explicitly wanted to be ON that wagon as scum becuase it was righteous.

The LUV lynch is basically the vandit lynch all over again. He lied about his role > anti-town > people hyped it up but really it was just a policy lynch.

Yeah when it's closer to the opposite. Scum going down have a natural tendency to "suspect" a buddy (I've had a hard time avoiding it early in my career). That's not a hard tendency and you never want to over-value it, but the idea of TRing someone just because a scum whose vote didn't matter stayed on the slot is simply not good.

I think it was more about the fact that Sesq never moved off rb. But it's pretty obvious that rb was going down and the claim wasn't believable in the slightest with his play, so it's a bit ehhh. Like, the claim was designed to draw out a counter, so in that context, Sesq staying on as mafia still makes sense. But they're not looking at the claim in that light for some reason, which they should do after he flipped scum.
