I stopped playing games about 2 years ago because I just didn't have time to be reading pages after pages of posts each day. This ruleset will make it much more possible to play games.

I am curious from a modding point of view - is it much work to keep track of how many posts players have made in the last 24 hours and how much reserve they have left?

I'm thinking of running Chosen Mafia. Is there any interest in running it as a Geriatric Ruleset game?

Having played in Micro 768, I don't think it is the ruleset that is the problem or that geriatric games are going to be inherently full of lurkers.

I think the amount of lurkiness in Micro 768 was more because:
- the mod was not enforcing prods
- there was one slot that was constantly not posting for days at a time, and that slot was not being replaced

Maybe at the start, those players are joining because they're busy but think that they would be able to handle a geriatric game. Hopefully over time and after more geriatric games are run, they will be able to understand their limits and only sign up if they actually do have enough time to play.
