Walling an extreme amount can kill some people's motivation to read, but imo it's better than just posting every other thought as it comes to you. What I usually do is split up my input into around 2-3 posts(?) and try to keep new points fresh and easily accessible, but keep it concise enough not to spam up the thread.

But yeah, blacklisting hyper-posters is a pretty extreme way of dealing with this. You're realistically not going to avoid them all anyway.
