Can I still sign up for newbie games if A: I've played almost 10 games total (elsewhere), and B: I'm in games outside of The Road to Rome? I just like the setups a lot.

You can sign up for three newbie games without having completed any other games at MS. After three games as a newbie, you need to have a finished non-newbie game so you can sign up as an SE player.

You can replace as a newbie into as many games as you are comfortable playing once your first newbie game is completed and before you're qualified to SE though!

Wait, is it being three something that's changed? I remember it being 2 when I was a newbie and I was really sad about that (though I was alive in my first newbie for way too long and got suckered into non-newbies and never had the chance to keep /inning until I was an SE)

Do we get notified that we are wanted in a game or what?

When the game fills up, the list mod will post the respective mod and playerlist and game. The mod then posts the game, rolls the information regarding alignments behind the scenes, and then sends out the role pms. The game starts when most of the game (varies between mods iirc on the newbie queue, definitely the case elsewhere) confirms getting their role pms by responding to the mod.

Newbie 1852 needs a replacement for thenavneet. This is a newbie slot, so any player not currently playing their first newbie game is eligible to replace in, with priority for newbies in the first (expired on 2018-03-12 04:32:59). The game is in Day 3 and is 59 pages long.
