Ok I'm caught up but on mobile for another hour or so. I would much rather lynch Chick than Cookie because I believe the claim. However how likely is it that the claim is alignment indicative? I believe the content of the claim but what do people think about whether it's more likely to be scum or town?

OK I'm officially back, sorry for the long absence.

So, to explain my read on Chickadee, a lot of her posts look very non-committal and fence-sitty.

A lot of the arguments she makes are sort of a step removed from actual scum hunting - the posts are more about the gamestate than they are actual cases on players. The posts are about tactics, techniques, and theory rather than scumhunting.

Also, hi Chickadee, I know we haven't played together so welcome to the game!

I'm worried we'll miss deadline if I'm not super careful and attentive, plus there's the big fight tonight which will take up a lot of my attention, so here's hoping Cookie is scum, ladies and gents! I'll be much more active tomorrow.

I think the "claimed dayvig" thing is more a result of misinterpreting a joke claim, which I also did at first. But looking back he never claimed dayvig, and faking a dayvig shot leads exactly nowhere. It disproves itself immediately. So I have to assume that was a joke / ploy.

I was hoping Chick would just address what I wrote yesterday and seeing as she hadn't posted at all since I returned to the game, I thought I'd give her time to do so. But since she didn't, Chick, any thoughts on what I said towards the end of the day yesterday?

for what I've said before plus 712, which equates "not a good town quality" with "not town". Fits in with the theme I mentioned previously - looking like scumhunting without actually doing it.

And yeah, you're right, it could be a SK or something similar, I hadn't thought of that. However, even so, I feel like it makes more sense to assume it's a vig and scumhunt, then lynch the vig claim if we kill 2 scum and the game doesn't end. Although, come to think of it, I guess it's possible there are 3 scum.

To be honest I find it weird that anyone finds me scummy considering I could have just let my V/LA run into the deadline on D1 and allowed it to result in a no lynch instead of hammering what turned out to be a scum PR.

I don't think lynching Tarkus right now is optimal, we're up on the scum in a big way right now so we may as well try to root out the scum first rather than lynching a known entity. If we kill the scum and the game is still going we just lynch Tarkus and win. The equation changes if we're close to mylo and still unsure of Tarkus's alignment but as of now we're nowhere close to losing if we mislynch.
