This is my example lap so I don't congest the main thread.

I start my engine with a d20...
Original Roll String: 1d20
1 20-Sided Dice: (14) = 14

A 5 is not a 1, which is a bad start, or a 17-20, which is a super start, so it is a normal start.

I go into first gear, and as such roll a two sided die.
Original Roll String: 1d2
1 2-Sided Dice: (1) = 1

I rolled a 2 so I can move two squares forward. I choose to stay in the same lane, so I move to PL2. I then shift up into 2nd gear.

I am now in 2nd gear, so I roll a 3 sided die.
Original Roll String: 1d3
1 3-Sided Dice: (2) = 2

I will stay in the left lane, so that I end my turn in the corner as required. The yellow flag indicates this is a one turn corner.
I go up into 3rd gear, which is a 5 sided die with results of 4-8.

Original Roll String: 1d5
1 5-Sided Dice: (5) = 5

So a roll of 3 on a 5 sided die according to the die roll table gives a result of 6 spaces. I will stay in my lane because it's the longest route and I have a 2 stop turn coming up, so I move to 1L7. Since we are coming up on a 2 stop turn I am going to go down from 3rd gear to 2nd gear. 2nd gear is a 3 sided die roll with results of 2 through 4.
Original Roll String: 1d3
1 3-Sided Dice: (2) = 2

The roll of 3(which moves me 4 spaces) puts me on the first square of turn 2 which is an ideal situation for a 2 stop corner. Since I need one more stop in the corner, I will stay in 2nd gear, since the maximum roll is a 4 and there are 5 spaces in the corner.
Original Roll String: 1d3
1 3-Sided Dice: (2) = 2

You can use addition on your die rolls, so when rolling the 2-4 die you can roll:

Code: Select all

[dice]1d3+1[/dice]

Original Roll String: 1d3+1
1 3-Sided Dice: (2)+1 = 3
