Based on a quick read, northsidegal and koki have stood out to me as more likely to be scum.
But I'm also a bit perplexed by the over-the-top group talk here. Sure, I get that it's the theme of the game but I struggle to understand the relevance of statements like "No one not from Group 2 is voting for Group 2". I don't get the point! There are three scum, not 10.
So wisdom with his whole "pretending to sound useful" thing is also someone I need to look more closely at.
I like Cakez, I like Dramonic, I like BuJaber.
My mind has a complicated relationship with Muffin.- DeasVail

Pedit - RMOJ yeah but they still have to keep doing these partititions every day thereafter. It might end faster but I think it's probably balanced.
holy fuck! We are 10 town to 3 scum, we out number them 3 to 1! NOTHING is scum led, everything is town led! fuck!
Finally someone who isn't playing as if it's 10-scum and 3-town!
That said, I find BuJaber's paranoia about everything being scum-led, pretty town.- DeasVail

Regarding northsidegal, 35 was the sort of post I didn't like (particularly the "if I want to keep my mislynch record clean" part), but I didn't have any rational reason for not liking it, so I chose to ignore it.
But the big thing, is the progression starting from 101.
"I'm pretty sure kokichi is town"
Easy to say the words, but a lot harder to back up.
When questioned on this by Kokichi, northside's answer just doesn't stack up.
When you're only 100 posts into the game, reasoning like "I know your scumgame and I'm not seeing it yet" does not justify statements like "I'm pretty sure you are town".
My thinking here is that northside threw out a townread in an attempt to look like they're working out the game, without actually having the reasoning to back it up. On the other hand, my expectation is that town would be more likely to actually go from reasoning ---> expression of townread. Whereas this looks a lot more like Expression of townread ----> Oh fuck I don't have much reason for saying that uhhhhh BLAND GENERIC VAGUE STATEMENT GO.
141 is also empty and just throwing shade at dramonic, when northside actually has no way of knowing whether there is a more complex thought process underlying dram's post.
---
My issue with koki really stemmed from 132. I guess it's possible that this is actually a towntell and I'm just misreading it, but I feel like the whole "why am I in this group??? Ooo, maybe it's because scum want to mislynch me!" thing is just.. too much? It sounds too much like scum trying to say something town rather than something town would actually say. But I might just be wrong in this. But yeah I don't know. With all the silly group speculation that's gone on, I could see scum trying to join in on the speculation in order to fit in and not seem like they have inside information. And this, along with the questioning of wisdom and riku, seems like a reasonable fit for that.
I also am a bit :/ in response to the (appropriate) questioning of northsidegal for the premature townread on him, only for Koki to then seemingly drop it? Despite no real satisfactory response?- DeasVail

In response to people speculating about my alignment, as scum I'm a lot more intentional about posting with enough frequency and content to avoid suspicion, whereas when I'm town I don't feel that same pressure.
On that note, due to just having worked a couple of long days in a row, now is not the time that I'm going to be sitting down and going over my provisional reads. But I've now come to the end of my run of shifts, so I'll have plenty of time to sit down and think about this tomorrow.
Sorry to everyone my lower activity start to this game.- DeasVail

Regarding Eddie:In post 679, zMuffinMan wrote:why is eddie so high? why am i so low?
The timing of 297 was pretty town. Town players with a role are likely to think that there's not much harm in softclaiming. However, this was at a time when there was talk about the setup being mountainous. Scum are probably not going to know too much about what kind of roles town will, so I think it's unlikely that scum would do something as conspicuous as softing a PR and risking negative attention /at at time/ when people are talking about the setup possibly being mountainous. Especially given the usual negative reaction to softclaiming.
If this happened now, it wouldn't be alignment-relevant, because lots of roles are coming to the surface. But I felt the timing of it back then was pretty town.
Posts like 641 seem genuine based on the kind of role that he probably has. Would also be weird coming from scum who is arguing that town need PRs because it does remove mislynch targets and helps town townhunt.
You are so low because there's nothing about your play here that really indicates town to me. I think your claimed role could fit with either scum or town. Admittedly, there's nothing about you that's particularly scummy imo though. But a lot of my reads are based on ~feeling~- DeasVail

The focus on you “policy lynching” me was weird. It lasted a bit too long and the thing about you being more suspect for denying it seemed like trying a bit too hard to maintain the push.
A lot of what he’s saying about what we should do this game day is based around what would make sense based on what other people are saying rather than what he himself actually thinks.
He also sounds like robotic scum Fitz to me and is doing the scum Fitz thing of talking about options instead of true content.- DeasVail

This doesn't make much sense muffin. In post 726, zMuffinMan wrote:you know, with a few adjustments our reads wouldn't be all that different
but i don't see how you put me that low when your primary scum reads are pine + hf and i'm struggling to believe you haven't formed a read on me either way from my content so far
pedit: @DV obv
What should I be reading as alignment-relevant from you?
If you were scum, then this is exactly where I would expect you to be on my reads list right now, because it's unlikely you would have done much yet that I would catch onto as scummy.
However, if you are town, then this is not exactly unexpected, because there's almost certainly some subconscious paranoia in relation to your alignment (plus the disaster that it would be for me personally to be reading you as town if you're actually scum )- DeasVail

As I said, my proposal is that we lynch group 2.
I am currently undecided on what swapping we should do, if any, but I'm also not very interested in directing other people's roles because I like the idea of people having autonomy with their PRs.
PEdit:
Wisdom, why is it just one scum?
Also, I'm not all very certain about your alignment or even Koki's. Your posts seem to suggest having some experience with him that would exclude this sort of play from him as scum, but if he has a reputation for lying as town, I am kind of skeptical of everything he says.
I am happy for swapping to happen I guess, but it's ultimately out of my hands. I think Bu is town. Pine, at the very least, is pretty high on my suspect list. Riku, you and Koki are unknowns for me (but also towards the lower end of my reads list). Compared to Group 1 and Group 3, the more scummy people (imo) are in Group 2. I don't understand the issue.- DeasVail

I had fun playing with everyone here and I actually really enjoyed the setup idea! Would play again.
I was really bummed not getting to use my role, but I thought it would be far more useful later in the game than earlier and I was hoping I wouldn't get killed. Ah well.
I think that there were lots of unfortunate circumstances here and no one should feel bad about how the game went!Copyright © MafiaScum. All rights reserved.
