Hello guys!
So umm, I was gonna run for president, but now I'm thinking the field is maybe too crowded for me? So does anyone like want a running mate as vice president? Or would you be interested in voting for me if I did throw my hat in the ring?
But before you answers those questions, you probably want to know a bit about me. I like to think of myself as a small government type of guy, if you get what I mean. I don't want any contracts or lists of rules to terrorize citizens with. My philosophy on that is I'll do my job and let the mod do theirs. There's no need to list off tons of rules and kill those who don't follow them.
The second thing you're going to love about me is that I'm an independent thinker. I'm not the type to get into a group think philosophy and kill the townie that's struggling. I'm going to hunt very hard for scum and not let people stray me from that task for any reason.
And lastly, I'm going to be precise in my actions. I'm not going to sit around for a full week making no progress and then no lynching. I plan to operate this nation efficiently. I have something already in the works on how I plan to operate more efficiently and if you're interested in supporting me, I'll gladly talk more about that later.
So if I sound like a good candidate you'd like to vote for or someone that could do a good job helping you on your way to president, please let me know. Thank you, God bless you, and God bless the United States of mafurscum- Aronis

I'm kind of a brick head when it comes to reading people tbh. Sometimes I try, but meh, I don't have much successIn post 270, mutantdevle wrote:@AronisIn post 117, mutantdevle wrote:@Aronis, would you say that your own reads are typically bad?
Because I'm bad at reading players.
I'm pretty sure Nico is bad at reading players.
So if you are also typically bad with your reads, then I think we found the reason for why us 3 are in central park.
And that would tell us that scum is more likely to be within the players that know the 3 of us.- Aronis

In this instance it's TvS and you're scum. I'm not saying it's always like that.
And ffs lie detectors are in like 1/50 games. Stop acting like thats a plausible reason for those dumb posts. But as I've said multiple times, my party PT contains / will contain my documentation and working towards the district placements. I'm not losing it. Plus, I like the ability to make crier posts. So shush you. You'd understand if you had your own shiny PT and crier ability.

What political party are you gonna join?
wrt parties, thoughts as of where I'm up to:
mutant - I probably townread him the most of the candidates but I don't think that his party is particularly tenable; I don't think that he is going to be president, and I'd rather support someone I townread + I think can become president
nk15 - I townread but I disagree with the tenets of the party and like he's never becoming president on that campaign
anime hydra - I don't know if I particularly townread them but I like the tenets of their party, and like their strategies for sorting people and looking for scum, and like that they want input from others when making their decision.
rubyred - I think her opener + aggressive campaigning probably doesn't come from scum her but like ... she's running on a slogan basically. I'm not sure how she's going to fulfill her promise, or what happens if she fails to do so.
wheme's - A party who's fundemental tenet is shitposting is just meh and like I think we can do better.
or tldr: probably fighting dreamers, maybe ruby.- Aronis

Why would the mafia take away their own double vote? It makes no sense, especially this early in the game. Hebichan might as well be an IC now- Aronis

As far as I'm concerned this is a horrible idea. Elect me President and we will shut down the corrupt politicians and misguided townies that want to string together a long chain of townies lynches. In post 1080, Wraith wrote:I only managed to get about halfway through a catch-up.
However as far as I am concerned Tazaro, Hebi, and Ruby are marked for death until one flips scum. Starting with Tazaro.- Aronis

This is really simple. I know it sounds bad, but it's not. Voter fraud is a good thing, not a bad thing for us. The mafia have a lot of control over who is in what district. They don't need power roles to manipulate voting, because they can already do it by placing you in your districts. The town needs these brave vigilantes to go out and fight back against the mafias control over the districts by committing voter fraud. Hebichan is not mafia, Hebichan is a saint.
You all tried your 'lynch pool' strategy yesterday. You elected the SNK party leader and enabled the worst presidency. We saw a leadership that was incapable of functioning properly. It was plagued by indecisiveness and it led to a town lynch. Don't let that happen again. Vote Aronis and say goodbye to this horrific lynch pool that is going to give way to townie after townie dying and embrace a better future where we lynch scum.- Aronis

Because, Mafia have complete control over the districts. This allows them to have an unusual amount of control over the town dayplay in the game. It makes sense for town to have something to counter that like a double vote. Then the rules pretty much explicitly confirm this is a thing by pointing out that the mafia have a roleblocker like ability to deal with town players that can abuse and manipulate district mechanics. In post 1089, the worst wrote:

Scum doublevoters are incredibly rare, they're a bit OP. In this setup it's true x10. The doublevoter has to be town.- Aronis

If you weren't capable of handling the job in the first place, then why on earth did you run for president? Their needs to be accountability. Own your decisions, don't cast the blame onto a dozen other people. In post 1092, the worst wrote:I have such bad reads tho I hate kingmaker- Aronis

I plan on coming up with more detailed reads as things go on. I doubt I'll give a single name at the end of the day, more like a good pool of 2-3 people. I do want to be efficient, but I'm not in a huge rush because we still have a fair amount of time. I want to see more content from some people. I may try to discuss things with people as well. Right now I'd say there's about half the playerlist I really don't plan on lynching and the other half is up in the air.In post 1103, skitter30 wrote: besides protecting tw and hebi, who do you actually want to lynch? you sound like ruby yesterday. like it sounds like your party is more concerned with protecting tw/hebi than actually figuring out who scum is- Aronis

Town can make mistakes and fail to use their vote properly. Other people didn't vote, voted for a horrible president, etc and nobody seems to care about that. In this setup hebichan's role will be town 99% of the time and I don't think hebichan's play is as scummy as some people thinkIn post 1153, ofrhz wrote:

This doesn’t apply in hebi’s case because she didn’t double vote to thwart the scum-manipulated districts; she allegedly did it as a reaction test (which doesn’t explain why she voted two different people)
I still don’t understand why you townclear hebi by virtue of her double voting without taking into consideration the motivations behind her doing so- Aronis
