Ok so I've been skimming up to pg 7 and I am just dying laughing at some of these funny posts. I mean, man. Smokebomb throwing, claiming bp pgo compulsive commuter...one of the funniest games I've seen in awhile.

On a serious note, I don't like asuka mentioning a traitor. I hosted an offsite game where I had a mafia traitor. It really looks like signaling of some sort , what she did. And that's not a good thing for town, if there's a traitor.

Personally I think there exists 4-6 scum in this 25 pool if I were to go by the 20% guideline.

The mentioning of creature lurking on d1 , is true from what I recall. He's the only one I played with in a large normal , years ago. Interestingly he was town that game. Unless it's one of my idols, I don't believe giving someone a free pass just because it's how they play, is a wise idea.

Anyway, have to continue my catchup. I have a big bunch of null right now.

I played with perf on my old account as both scum and town and I don't think I ever read him incorrectly, but he's massive mislynch bait in general, partially because his tone is awkward and unnatural to most people? WHAT SPECIFICALLY

was it about his posts that made you think: "Oh, only someone with a mafia PM would post this way".

The things that made me think he is the best vote are
a) Scum are likely to lurk out and try and avoid attention in every game, but especially this game I think unless their playstyle just totally contradicts to that- there are 25 players and town are likely to find some townie they want to mislynch in the early game if scum keep quiet. Obviously WM isn't the only quiet player but he does fit this description.
b) I think that he is an example of a player who is more motivated and less apathetic as town than scum and more so than any other lurker so far.
c) He refused to engage in the hood as well and I think town who were feeling apathetic would probably at least try to engage in that private enviroment.
d) he came up with his policy of "d1 lynch will be on town so let's not do anything" when he had already started lurking in the early game.
e) He basically claims that his lurking is just because the game is large and 25p and 25ps are terrible but if he feels that way I have no idea why he signed up for this 25-player game. Like, even if you find the late game to be immensely interesting, you just replace into the game. We all know a 25-player game is going to have several replacements.
f) he jumps on the osuka and performer wagons which might not be convincing to a lot of people but it factors into my read because I townread both of those players and it feels like he's trying to put fuel on the fire for those wagons.
g) I overall feel like his lurking and actions are the most likely to come from scum, jumping onto town wagons to avoid a lynch and trying to avoid attention.

I'd also like to note that if anything the performer wagon feels like a counter to wave? Like, I'm not getting the argument that with some wagons existing previously, scum decided to suddenly bring up Wave as a counter to Performer, because Perf reached... three votes in a 25-player game?

It was not just tone. The content was just busy work, and the combination of things he mentioned were off. My scumread on him is not based on that post alone. and why you say its not relevant to anyones alignment? he was "catching up" in that post and topic about various topics. It was a content he was generating. It was just forced.

Any deadly assumptions is just bad play. You must solve the people in neighborhoods like everyone else - or maybe more proitorized than everyone else cause you have more information about them

We're playing a large normal and neighborhood does not mean scum, I will say majority of neighbors being the same scum faction is pretty unlikely though (even if neighbors are randomized that type of thing tends to get considered for a reroll IMO)

I knew exactly who I replaced into, and that post was my reaction test for wheme's confusion, and I wanted to see how others would react. His reply was suboptimal, as is his ISO. I also talked about it with gamma when he asked me about that.

Their thought process felt natural when I was doing my catch-up, and there's the fact that the game seemed resigned to just lynch him. I don't think that happens to scum!Performer unless it really sets up his tam well association-wise and I don't recall anyone making associations based on him flipping scum much.

On a serious note, I don't like asuka mentioning a traitor. I hosted an offsite game where I had a mafia traitor. It really looks like signaling of some sort , what she did. And that's not a good thing for town, if there's a traitor.

Personally I think there exists 4-6 scum in this 25 pool if I were to go by the 20% guideline.

I think I remembered why town win ratio on ms is so low again. Thing is you need to be transparent and more flexible with reads and you should care enough to just give out whats in your minds instead of just jumping on wagons.

VOTE: Performer cause Android is not scummy at all and I think Performer is coasting and pocketing and doing nothing besides that. I can still see him being a mislynch as well though. Thing is I use this term instead of lurking for players who play like you - "no entity players" as they post nothing you can sort them with cause they stay distant from main fights and conversations.

The thing about that backtrack that you mentioned is that scums post their backtracks if they have an agenda like when they decide to enforce something in game (like lynching a counter wagon) or when they feel they wanna show it to others. Well Ausuka and Creature, I am not scum. I just work as a chef in a place where we just fired somebody this week and lost some one to a ruptured appendix. So my schedule has been crazy hectic, working like 60+ hours a week and work an hour away from my home, so I am gone 12 hours out of the day at work. Still, if we get close to deadline, I will offer myself up as a sacrifice cause I am only Vanilla Townie and it helps lower the pool of inactives; making it easier to find scum.

This is the only thing that's a weird assumption for me because I don't even understand the motivation to lynch android over performer yesterday BUT Pine makes an excellent point in that the performer and android wagons existed already and only when it started to look like android might trump performer for the lynch did the performer wagon gain a lot of momentum suddenly. that's a thing that happened.

now as far as making the conclusion that it makes android scum... i dont know. it's a tough call there because then you would absolutely have to assume that it WAS town driven, which generally doesn't happen with lurker lynches. so... maybe they were both town?

also if we assume the nk was scum shot and not vig shot, then i'd be more convinced that maybe android actually is scum because i'd be thinking that's where he'd shoot. he needs to come in and tell us what happened.

i think it's more likely a50 is the vig shot and the nk was probably on the a protected townie... like, oh i dunno, the IC.

no android wagon was non existing. it had 2 reason-less votes. It just became something out of nowhere there - by towny people. But then people just jumped on it with no reason.

@Ircher and players I'm terribly sorry that I flaked out from this game for A long time. The thing that happened is that I was forced to act as a host to a large event that lasted for 12 days and ate literally all my free time. now it's over but I'm actually sick and unlike what I promised multiple time I didn't have any chance to catch up/do anything in this game. As I'm really behind and things keep happening that eats my free time I have to ask to replace out of this game to not hurt it more.
