For the record, I disagree with this. I try to keep the peace regardless of my alignment. In post 540, Chickadee wrote:Why would scum not just do so in a PT though. In post 536, Flubbernugget wrote:Chick, mediating arguments is NAI because scum doesn't have to reason about alignment to be able to do it.
I tend to see mediating arguments coming from town 9 times out of 10.
Why bother? There's daytalk.HitAlt wrote:What a way to coach your scumbuddies in the game thread - splendid!
I think this is half of an excellent analysis. She's missing the fact that a Town with both near-solves and off reads can be tipped if you surgically eliminate the good reads. She's also missing that an exceptional night for PRs means most of them are now outed, and they can pick them off as neededIn post 177, Skygazer wrote:I think a few people are very close to solving and I also see a lot of really off reads/solves
I do think that we hit a huge setback and that night actions will play a huge part in game solving later on so MoI if there's any kind of result/claim/whatever I can fake in the game thread to muddy the waters without getting one of us lynched I'd love to hear it
Also this PM thread we exchanged makes it explicit.Pine wrote:Everything in the changes thread is fair game. Aside from VT and Goon, every role has some aspect which was recently whitelisted.HeWhoSwims wrote:Thanks!
The information that I have - does it relate to the new stuff in the entirety of the "changes to normal games" thread? (Regarding the whitelist stuff of course)
Yeah because you didn't submit an action, fam. Even with a 12-hour warning and a few hour grace period after the deadline passed.
Yeah you really should have. Ausuka would have been an even better kill, despite the fact that it virtually guarantees a MoI lynch. She’s wielding the Loyal FV role even more competently than expected. In post 286, Skygazer wrote:Vengeful might be a bad claim??
Ugh we should've gone for gamma last night
This is a really solid argument, and I kinda hope MoI pulls it off.In post 3139, MagnaofIllusion wrote:VOTE: AusukaIn post 3131, Ausuka wrote:^Confirming this. Brassherald is very likely town. The only way this vote is moving might (and only might) be to Skygazer who is pretty obvious scum.
Anyone who doesn't see that clearing Brass (who 0.00% of the playerbase thought was scum) as opposed to confirming I'm scum as she was whining about yesterday or clearing in the Pool of Death is 100% scum motivated play as opposed to game solving.
If you don't see that I can't help you. In which case go ahead and flip me today. It locks in Ausuka scum with my Town flip and minimizes the WIFOM damage her "clears" will do down the line (which right now is mostly only Rask IMO) and confirm both Nos and Chickadee as lock-Town.
It's really not a big deal. If there had been game-relevant information, it would have been, but you were just chatting. I toyed with actually leaving it in place, but it was off-topic following a mod request to return to the game.In post 89, Almost50 wrote:@Pine: Thanks for deleting the post and -once again- I'm really sorry. I promise to be much more careful.
How are you not a high-info flip? When you flip Loyal FV, everyone you've vended to gets hardcleared. It also serves as a hard counter to MoI's claim (which is likely why he's apathetic - he got screwed by claim.)In post 3211, Ausuka wrote:how am I a high information flip? and why on earth would you protect MOI???
like if mafia want to shoot MOI I see no reason to not just let them do it considering without the claim we'd be lynching him today.
Hmmm. Okay. I'll give it to Kokichi; he responded to my recruitment request shortly after Irrelephant. In post 104, mastina wrote:I'd consider this a mistake in moderation because a MoI replacement could influence Skygazer to change night actions. In post 99, Pine wrote:Not going to bother replacing MoI. I’m definitely going to get “overpowered Town!” complaints here. Well, tough. Scum had plenty of power. Town has gotten ridiculously lucky with their shots, and has skillfully used them to take the scumteam apart.
Skygazer is my dark horse to win, though, due to some especially effective bussing.
Sorry. I was going to just let the slot die, but Mastina was right, not giving Sky the benefit of someone to talk to wasn't fair.In post 117, Kokichi Oma wrote:glad i could do so much hard work as a replacement
It ain’t over til it’s over. In Turn of Camn, Town lynched correctly three days running, and scumteam pulled off a win because of an unassuming darkhorse. Right now, Ausuka is the big threat. Get rid of her, let tw wipe out some competition, and kill the clears. If she can keep from getting killed by tw, Sky has a shot. A long shot, but not impossible. In post 125, Gamma Emerald wrote:And it's another large, tooIn post 124, Inferno390 wrote:This now the second game I’ve played with a townstomp

Oh certainly. I give them in the neighborhood of 90%+ odds at this stage. I also want to point out that this isn’t a Town stomp - the worst has killed 2/3 of the dead scum.
All HWS knows is that every role (aside from VTs and Goon) has a component which was recently whitelisted.
