Like holy shit it's so obvious NSG is scum with that play and that NSG, if scum, would be the one to commit the kill. That's why I blocked there with confidence despite my block being 1-shot.

But I don't put a lot of stock into the skill of players like Shoshin or Kokichi, so I'm pretty sure they'll screw this up.

But I actually still kept my head stuck out and engaged other players and generated content across the board.
I'm fine with being scumread--I entered the game in a way to deliberately be scumread and not be NK'd since I had a role with a decent chance of catching scum.
It's mostly that Shoshin scumread me at the expense of looking anywhere else or engaging anywhere else, which leads to a whole 2 weeks of wasted time on Shoshin's part, as well as a complete bust of the Gacha ability.
To be honest, if I was scum right now, I'd cover with a "My role starts with 150 gold and gains 50 on lynches, so I was on the wagon and doctored this player' to explain away the No Kill
Looks like they're coming around to Gooey scum, thankfully, with SirCakez preaching NSG needing a looking-at.
So at least my death wasn't totally in vain.

The thing that bugs me is Creature, when looking for who I blocked, goes to a hypothetical reads list instead of the post where I say I am pretty sure I have caught scum

Even if I was still heavily scumreading the slot, it's obvious Emerald wouldn't be the one delivering the kill if he was a part of the scum team.

She's never mislynched, and ~half her scumreads are spot on and she pushes them well (she pushes the wrong reads just as well which is her biggest game flaw but)

It's less one bad day and more "these folks are not engaging at all, haven't been engaging at all, and are lining up mislynches for the next few days to come."
All scum needs to do is what they're already doing, which is not even play the game and let town devour itself.

The only way to even be close to that right now is if you had a high gold generating role AND you were on all the lynches so far AND you won gold from the Gacha.
Yeah, at this point I've seen RC take things too far in more games than not. I mean, hell, I'm not really one to talk, since I have been prone to being particularly horrible to play with in games in the past, but you gotta at least try.
Removing voting modifiers in LYLO was not standard practice when I started on-site, as far as I recall.
It's something I've rolled into a lot of my games because I tend to run role madness games with lots of voting modifiers and I wanted LYLO to not be 'cheapened' just because of an unfortunate arrangement of roles.
I would not be surprised if my insistence on this has become site meta given the popularity of my games, how many other mods have modeled games after mine, and how many mods have asked if they could just lift my rules set.
I'm of the mind that secretly being in lylo isn't really a fundamental part of the mafia experience and that it's a more interesting game when all players know they are in lylo.
It baffles me that people who didn't put any stock into my reads are now trying to lynch out my top scumreads from a hypothetical D1 list when it's obvious my night results are why I was day killed and the old list is not entirely relevant--what's even more shocking is that people think I would have blocked one of my most suspected slots instead of a lurker mid-range read that's more likely to take the kill but whatever stay basic I guess
Except when I made that list, I was not nearly as informed as I was at N1, so it's not good evidence to look to as a crumb. People really should be looking to the posts I made AFTER the block rather than BEFORE it.
Even if I had that list in mind and scum was at the bottom of it, I wouldn't be blocking people at the bottom, because if they were scum they'd be less likely to commit the kill because they'd be aware of the list and know that they've got attention on them.
Like this is just straight up NSG Porkens scum claiming when they didn't even need to and now they're gonna do the weakest scum theater ever and I'm worried that

What a laughable outcome for a game where scum was caught red-handed N1.
Maybe this will teach xyzzy to never design a setup where scum get a free daykill.
