My thoughts on this setup after playing it the first time is that we should go for

by definition it'll create some TvT pairings but I think more importantly, it allows for us to put high trust targets with low trust targets. I also considered doing like 3 bad with bads for them to agree to die, but basically we need to have pairings where we can read them while also relying that there is a solid town person able to leave the dance if necessary.

While I agree this is 100% the best way and style to go at it. No one is gonna do it because people are playing to have fun first win second. If people want to match with friends there sadly gonna do it most likely. (Ugh I wish I was a gent so we could dance LLD)

Are you willing to elaborate on what this strategy would be and why it would work?

I would basically require the IC and the town to work together to find the most town guy and lady and pair them off one at a time get 2 or 3 lock town v town pairs. Then you get the most scummy pairings together leaving the most scummy lady out of the dance.

Mostly this I feel like town sakura would be more careful and aware of how scum kokichi can play around her. She doesn't have to worry about that if she's scum of course.

Because frankly 1) I think all four of those names are town now seeing their posting

and 2) I think all four of those names are entirely unafraid of killing themselves to kill the other if they get the slightest hint of them being scum.

I do want to run it by other people's reads, specifically interested in our confirmed town's perspective on things, but yeah I think those are a few good pairings.
I keep coming back to this post all the time for some reason.

I think it was pretty clear LLD was trying to buddy me and that's why when LLD was freaking out I just stopped posting around her. At one point (when I said the nagging ich) I kinda knew LLD was scum because I always get that ich when she's scum. I didn't want to enrage the fake ate more so I just kinda stepped back from it after. I can't say that a scum team of me/lld wouldn't buddy. I mean I don't think we would be that blatant? Can't say it's all theory but what I can say is why does scum LLD and me buddy so blatantly early? I did want LLD dead I made that point clear.

I don't think your reads will have more influence in your death as you think they will. Will some people respect them and maybe use them for reasoning to some extent? Sure scum will if scum is in that pairing and town might too. But if it comes down to the wire I doubt people will go "I'm not voting those 4 because RC said so." It's most likely to get ignored and forgot about though if we're thinking realistically. I think you'd be better off for finding reasons to call X scum then Y town. That's just my own outlook though I could be foolishly wrong.

Since everyone else was looking for possible scum interactions in LLD's posts I also wanted to try my hand at it. Having gone back and read it, I feel that the way she talked to/about Kokichi could possibly be s+s because of stuff like the way she advocates for him to be in the top pairings but not in a sort of passive way. I believe that I had Kokichi as lean town in the early game but my read of him has gotten less and less town over time. I figure that even based on statistics alone, I can't be wrong on
all
of my reads.

I feel like your interactions with LLD can be seen as scum. I did have a pause when you stopped pushing me but I think I'll forever want your slot lynched given how you and gamma are playing. Not that the play is bad it's just hard/not progressing my read on you guys (more so gamma then you) so yeah I think you guys flipping helps me the most at the moment but that can change on the catch up let's see
