I'll be right to the point.. according to some ancient document (dating back to 3000 BC) uncovered recently, I should be regarded as your leader and you shall all be treating me as you leader (until I flip by the end of N1, that is). It's a FACT that all historians unanimously have verified to be true.

Using this excuse to vote/FoS someone is denying responsibility for the flip. I've just ISO'd PP and he has nothing of substance except a push on Kokichi, but it was the same play in this game where he was town and got lynched on D1.

Second on the list is Nako, and I don't know what people are disliking about her. She seems engaged enough, having explicit reads, willing to poke and engage people. If this is scum she's being bold and confident. I have a town lean on her already.

DVa is a hard read. So far nothing smells in her ISO, but she is good as both alignments, so maybe I'm being a bit more cautious there.

Oka is carzy (that mean I like you, btw). That entrance with the list and stating he prefers scum is intriguing, and I think as scum he wouldn't want to be doing what he's doing because it earns him more enemies than friends. I still don't like the bit about pushing people as "liabilities" but even there he responded with "I do take the responsibility for the flip" which makes me feel better about him.

I've liked Joey's posts and especially the one(s) where he opposed Oka's plan to push liabilities. I just sometimes wish he posted a dictionary for his nicknames vs actual usernames at his first post, and then I wouldn't mind him using either because then I could tell who is who. Same problem I sometimes face with N_M.

I voted DrD to get content and I did. I switched to BEF and DVa reminded me early pressure on him might not yield the desired result. @Oka: I played Gamma over a dozen times already, and I even played him once where he didn't know it was me (I was on an alt that wasn't yet outed). I used nto know how to read him well, but then he changed his play style a little (allegedly he is less active now as town than he used to be), and it's confusing me some. I know pressuring him with a wagon won't help me read him though. He and I both know I have a way to read him still, but no opportunity has presented itself for me to apply that yet.

Same as I thought before. He didn't bring anything new (at least not to me). The only thing he's done is try to make a case on me to justify voting me, which is meh. For one thing I know my own alignment and thus know it's a bs case. For another, BEF has never seen me as scum to begin with, but he should -from his experience- think my reads as town are bad enough (the only finished game with him I was basically playing FOR scum while I was town and HE was scum).

Tchill in several games, including one as JJD. Hmm.. As A50 I think he was in the game where everyone was a Dayvig. Radja also in a couple of games.. I think he was in the Team Mafia one with me?? Seph has been with me in the last game I played as AP (and yes he knows it's me now). BEF also (same game as Seph). Joey has been with me in numerous games, including Civilization (which you were also in). Kokichi in 3-4 games, but I can recall the one with Wisdon & N_M where Alisae was scum with Jeanne, and one that immediately followed that where we were Neighbours, and Mastina, Chara, LLD and Toranaga were all in the game. Like literally this BES vs Kokichi thing (very similar conversation) just happened in DDU in NASO vs Saudade and we ended up lynching NASO instead of Saudade.

Now I expect some to question my vote on BEF when I say I'm sheeping Oka. I had my own suspicion on BEF from earlier, and I only backed off bc DVa reminded me of something.

But I also very much understand Oka's approach (although not the incident he's referring to), and I know I have been there myself once too many where I pint out something being a scumtell based on my own experience and even provide links to previous incidents and still nobody listens. It has been 66.667% successful in nailing scum on a precise tell, and 75% on another.

So, while I can't say for sure if it's the exact same thing here I know it has to have a higher probability of nailing Scum still. In otherv words, I'm not "blindly" sheeping a read, but I'm rather sheeping a "scum hunting technique" that I'm very well familiar with.

Now who can "agree to disagree" with Gamma? let me give a couple of example: Chara can. Chara is my regular (and so far my only) hydra partner. We have played at least 6 games together as a hydra, and at least as many as separate slots. They have seen scum me and town me, have been scum with me (obvioulsy as we did roll scum as a hydra more than once) and against me.

Who else? skitter (the mod of this game). She may not have played me as much as Gamma or Chara did, but she did see my play as both alignments, and has played with me as A50, AP and JJD.

I could go on about players whom I consider to be more knowledgeable of my play than others, but then some of the other players who have played me several times can't read me still (and they would confess to it). Some get confused, some always SR me.. that's fine, but then they don't claim to "know the difference in my anger". In fact, I never even fake anger, and those who know me well are aware of this fact. I am fully capable of expressing my views (or pushing my agendas) without faking anger. In fact, when I do get angry I slightly lose my grip on my game and can't communicate well with the crowd, as either alignment.

Suffice it to say, keep your push on me. Do what you must. Give it your best shot.. but just as a side note for future reference: you do NOT know ANYTHING about my play.

How am I supposed to read someone who doesn't post? And why is it a good idea to take a chance on them not being lurking scum because they either hate playing scum or they are afraid of making a slip, or even afraid of catching investigatives attention? I see scum lurking all the time and although some townies do; lynching a lurker on D1 has a MUCH better rate at landing on scum than is lynching an active player.

You see, when you're active you are leaving me something to fall back on and reread on D2, D3 or even in LyLo. Even if I can't read someone on D1 their posts will still be there for me later into the game. In your case, your D2 posts are actually D1 posts in disguise. Now why should I -or anyone else- put up with this behavior?

Regardless of how serious Scum may have thought the claim was it makes no sense that they would go for BEF who was under lots of pressure on D1.

Btw, that game is over now and I can link it. BEF was a glorified Townie (N8 Vig in a 10 players setup). He was my Miller (I was the Gunsmith, so that was meant to give me a false positive). He was pressured, and he fake claimed Day Cop!!!

DVa obviously read him as a TPR here, and if puahsd he would have claimed, thus drawing protectives his way, and that would have been bad for her and her team bc then they would not have been able to shoot him.

So, she kept him from claiming while actively keeping him look suspicious enough that any protection would not go his way.

Now, forget about all this and explain why scum didn't shoot a CLAIMED DOUBLE PROTECTION DOCTOR if they thought the claim was legit, and why didn't they shoot the Masons if they didn't think DVa was for real.

GS is NOT a strong investigative. You have just finished a game with me where there was a N8 Vig to give the GS a false guilty. I could out the Vig here. I could out a Cop (any kind of Cop). I wouldn't dare declare my guilty on the spot. At least a COP can declare they got a guilty on someone, and it's more likely to be right because Millers are supposed to claim early. Vigs/Cops are not.

I don't get why we're voting Seph. If Mew is Ascetic then THIS is more suspicious. Again, Investigative vs any other role is a crumb of an investigative, and is giving a clear on a virtually Ascetic.

Well, I already did. He's 100% Town. I would have added "pr 100% not reading" but he obviously does and did. He saw me addressing him in that crumb post. He then asked who has played with me before. Theoretically he could've blocked me instead of shooting me, but I won't ever understand him shooting BEF over anyone else. Even if he suspected BEF to be some PR, he could still have shot me and blocked BEF, leaving him defenseless for today's lynch. He knew 100% what my role was too, so it would have been much safer to get rid of the confirmed PR rather than hunt for one that may or may not be a PR, and of they were he wouldn't know what kind of PR he was anyway (he could've been a PGO for all Gamma knew).

I have seen it often enough. It failed the last time, but was successful at least twice before that (since I started implementing it as a scum tell): Scum will always jump off the wagon they have been on early when it takes off. Whether the lynchee is Town or Scum is irrelevant. If they're Town it's to disassociate themselves with the mislynch. If they're Scum it's to delay/derail the wagon. Sometimes Scum will rejoin the wagon they had abandoned to appear less suspect (i.e. do not appear as the ones pushing it on the final VC) but that move is becoming old, so it's rarely done nowadays. The jumping off the wagon though does happen often enough still.

That said, I really don't know what I'm doing anymore, so I will probably sheep anyone. I just would rather it be Joey because he's a Mason.

I stopped "thinking". I am just watching how things unfold for the time being. I want to lynch Mew but it's being resisted by many and I have no idea why anymore.

I don't know about Koki and I had declared him a hard-to-read slot for me since the start of the game.

I made a push on DDL at the start of the game when he was not posting. He came in and posted some, but overall I don't see his participation to be active or fruitful.

If there are any other slots you want me to check on I'd be happy to, but with no scum flips yet I don't think anything can really change the way I am seeing the game now, which is Mew is the best lynch, followed by DDL

Oh, there's also that PP wagon stalling on D1 thing. I have no idea where to go with this. Gut says PP is Town, but that aside I can't explain why scum didn't go all the way with that wagon.

Now if PP is scum I'd be most suspicious of Seph because he's the one who prevented the claim from PP and subsequently lead to the dissolution of the wagon.

But this -by necessity- would mean Mew is not scum (I don't see him as scum with Seph), and it's confusing me. Did Seph (and his team) block me last night, leading to this mess? Because it's either that or Mew is indeed Ascetic who didn't claim, and thus must be scum.

I've just explained the PP read. Analytically he has has equity of flipping scum, but I gut read him Town (because that's how he played in a recent game with me where he was Town).

Koki I fail to read him or understand his play 110% of the time and then some more. He's a big question mark for me ALWAYS. I don't know if he buses or not. I dunno if town!him does that Masons shit or not. To me there are 2 ways to catch scum!Koki: 1- Night Investigation, or 2- lynching his buddy(ies) and have him caught by association or VCA.

." Clear and simple. I wanted PP to claim something or another. Let's say he claims Doctor. He would have been my check target. Doctors have no guns, so I can verify he is not a goon fake claiming.

Now if he claimed Cop I would have hammered still, because I don't see a Cop alongside a Gunsmith in a 13 players normal.

If he had claimed Vig I would have NOT checked him, because my check will return "has a gun" which he already claimed to have, and I won't know if he's for real or if he's a goon faking that way.

Claims are good for certain PRs to decide their night check. If I was a Tracker I might have went after someone who claims to be a VT to verify they didn't act at night, or catch them lying.

I am playing with the idea of a mass claim in my mind. We have a claimed JK + a claimed JK, with at least 2 other "hints" of PRs, which I think is too strong.

Good question. It probably depends on who designed the setup though. Some mods like "Millers", and some don't.

If I was designing a game and am using a GS I'd probably be sure to include a Vig (10-13) or a Vig+Neapolitan/Vanilla Cop (14+)
