So the main point here is I want to try using Informed as an unorthodox Mafia investigative. I’m curious, how does it compare with say, a 1-shot Vanilla Cop?
Pros:
Information is earlier. One extra Townie is out of their pool on Night 1
Cons:
Can’t get PR results
Can’t be directed <- not sure how significant this is
Anyway, with that said, I wanted to try a setup sometime that revolves around town protective roles being able to generate an extra lynch for town, hence putting some protective roles in. However, I think it is inappropriate here given my initial premise because the commuter is a role the scum do NOT want to hit.
Kinda want to get rid of the commuter, not sure what to put in its place.- BNL

Uh wait actually how open are you to the idea of putting a Night 3 Vigilante in place of the Commuter?
Not Night 1 because scum can do nothing to counteract it and not N2 because it can make people feel cheated of the game- BNL

I was indeed considering a Doctor here but I ran into the same issues that it was too townsided. I heard that it was one of the most unfun setups during 2of4.
That new proposed setup looks good but I can't really call it my setup. Can you explain what the rolecop is there for?
The JK+Vig thing looks ugly and I want to abandon that line of setup making.- BNL

1 Town Tracker
1 Town Bodyguard
1 Town 1-shot Vig

So there’s the general pattern of a Vig Protective and Investigative; the difference is that the Vig is weaker, the investigative is weaker, but the protective is much stronger
Maybe buff the JOAT keeping the tracker?- BNL

That's a good suggestion. I was afraid it was a bit townsided, and was considering making the Enabler ascetic, but I think your suggestion here is better. I was thinking if the Enabler claimed and the Mafia attempted to kill it may cause problems, but Doctor Enabler claiming hints to the Mafia that there is a Doctor so it isn't an issue.
I am satisfied with your proposed setup, and it's not too modified so I feel comfortable calling it my setup, and I'll just wait for Performer now.- BNL

Actually I do have one concern: would it be a problem if the Doctor claims early but gets protected by the Jailkeeper?
Otherwise, it seems like no one has a problem with the setup and it’s ready to be submitted- BNL

Here are some fixes I thought of:
Shift the ascetic to the Jailkeeper
Change Doctor enabler to Jailkeeper enabler
Inform the Mafia that there is a Jailkeeper
Change the Jailkeeper to N1 Roleblocker N2+ Jailkeeper, or just full Roleblocker
Are any of these good, or just not worth the effort?- BNL

Actually I realised that both of town’s nerfs affect the Doctor, rather than the Jailkeeper.
Is it ok to move the ascetic to the Doctor? I don’t think it’s a big problem because it obfuscates results for the JK, but then again it’s one step closer to earning a mislynch.
Objectively I think that Roleblocker is the best fix for this, but I’m kinda attached to the JK for some reason.
Also correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve heard 2 Goon vs 1 RB 6 VT has been accepted as balance as RB is similar to JK?- BNL

Also I realised that doc protecting JK is a bigger problem than JK protecting Doc because the first leads to follow the JK while the second is just a one-time save- BNL
