I know it's rhetorical, but I think that when I roll scum I tend to joke less because I'm trying to be super serious townie. In post 236, DrippingGoofball wrote:Does scum joke post more or less than town?In post 232, Flavor Leaf wrote:So it looks like everyone is still joke posting
Yeah, I'm getting Overkill 1 vibes of the trollish kind. It'd be nice for everyone not to die to my "power role."In post 167, BuJaber wrote:A50 has to be trolling you. I will openly claim now as well. I amTHESylvester Stallone. I am not one of his characters he's played, but the actual person as my role. As the actual person, I must have final say in the lynch," i.e. I can only hammer. Don't ask why the mod chose to make my role and flavor as it is, I don't know. Don't ask me to vote if it's not the hammer, it won't happen.
Except this time A50 said there will be fake claims.
I still believe you though.. also I think you have a high chance of killing yourself anyway. This is based on me not trusting myself to not die with a role like that, I project the same level of human error potential on you.
I highly doubt single ball just because that's not really Overkill and it'd be hard to justify having a rule in place to limit faction deaths per cycle in a single ball game of this size. Game is over 25% bigger than Overkill 1, so my guess is slightly tweaked upgrade of the first game, which would mean probably two factions of 4 players, and one or two SKs... maybe a couple vigilantes for good killing measure. In post 261, Gamma Emerald wrote:Singleball: 6-8, maybe 9
Multiball, probably 8-10
That doesn’t include 3ps FYI
I typically consider any town killing role as a vigilante for all intents and purposes, including the Vengeful we had in the first game.In post 272, Flavor Leaf wrote:Or other roles that could potentially kill under certain circumstances.

Why hard claim? You gave suitable chance for WIFOM by claiming softing and faking, and you either die or you don't. If you don't die, the WIFOM remains. If you do die, we find out anyways, and we can relate to your reasoning regardless. In post 1012, profii wrote:I’m a cop you idiot

I just realized this rule change from Overkill 1. I feel like that means town encompasses a lot more of the majority ratio than it did in the previous game. It also means that if there probably aren't as many third parties as there were in the first game.
Sure, why not. If he doesn't think I'm a threat, and doesn't want to Lynch me, great! In post 1924, Nero Cain wrote:hey Toog, what do you think about BUJ and his explanation for qhy you are more likely to be 3p than mafia?
Meh... I'll get to it if I'm still alive and we get under like 15ish players. For now, I'm cool just reading and vote counting. In post 2378, Fortian wrote:Still think Toogs town but if he is then I really would like to / need to see some actual thoughts and solving from him, I get the whole "Can't vote, minimal influence on what's going on" type of thing particularly initially, but it's not something that can be maintained throughout the game like that at all and the longer it keeps going the weaker my read there is getting. Pretty much if you're town dude I need you to start playing the game soon.

You might have just gotten a town read out of me Nero! So you think I'm town, but still deserving of a vote? Ok. Honestly though, if people really want me dead, this is absolutely the best phase to do it since we lynched scum day 1 and I stopped all the kills Night 1. Think of it as a get out of paranoia jail free card. You'd probably be doing me a favor too.In post 2611, hebichan wrote:Go ahead and get modkilled then.

I feel like you are smarter than this Cerb. Why would you think that any player would modkill themselves for the betterment of their team?In post 2614, Reasonably Rational wrote:So the real question is if you're town, and guaranteed to be the mislynch for today, why would you not make that vote so as to save your faction from spending a lynch on your slot?
Meh, that's kind of an exception to the rule really. I replaced in as a favor with no intention of reading the entire game up to that point. My reads list was actually quite good, I just got rope a doped and it was intentional bussing through the entirety of numbers ISO. Since I hadn't done any reading, and all I had done was coast on a single ISO after a 150 page game, attempting to fight a lynch on me wasn't something I had the energy to do.In post 4694, Cerberus v666 wrote:Toog is totally someone who'll just peace out of a game with no second thoughts, as they showed me in Heroes Wanted.
You should look up Hypnotist Mafia on my wiki. It had a Night 0 in which the mafia team killed MagnaOfIllusion before the game even started. Talk about really getting your hopes up only to have them squashed. In post 4778, Almost50 wrote:In my defense, the idea behind me trying to experiment with these N1 global protectives was highlighted by Varsoon earlier in this thread (on post-game).
