The only things I have found interesting on page one so far are Tris question and Enter switch of vote onto Reckoner. Both, probably don't warrant much discussion but the only things that got me thinking some thought was going on in terms of game activity.

He first said it "probably wasn't" then went and said it was town indicative. To me it read as someone actively thinking about it while writing up the post. Came to a conclusion I disagree with but I don't see the need in arguing over it. I think you skimmed the post and didn't pick that up or just picked up a contradiction and thought it was scummy.

hi guys quick post while I got time! I know urap2 and enter missed me =)

I wanted to go into a lot of the posts i missed but i think that will have to wait till friday. Right now just wanted to say some of my read changes and go into a little bit about them.

I am scumreading Branson. I am leaning scum on Chara, least confident here on this read change. I am townreading Reckoner.

Branson I looked through the posts and was trying to dissect the thought process. Not sure it was all there. She says she is going by logic but the logic seemed to have been by intuition or make it up as you go. For instance the feelings on reckoner town, and the case against skitter I thought was trying to logic a case on how someones actions don't make sense without thinking of it made sense from that persons perspective which didn't sit right with the whole thinking as reckoner and other comments made on skitter.


Reckoner has a different approach to this game than I would, he is reading players who go against consensus like branson as that is town which to me is bad play, and when you think of his reads in these terms you go "why is he not townreading Enter as town for that mindset?" but i think this is due to his overal tendency to skim thread. Not do any deep analysis and i don't think their is a scummy fake positioning here. Call that intuition. I think theres definitely sorting going on even if i think its low level.


Chara is...I don't know how to express this. Odd? Reading Chara posts and I see like an invisible barrier between it and everyone they are talking to. I dont know if this is normal. Could be as they say they are busy. But I don't see the need for this barrier even though your busy. And I know this perception of the posts but I see it in almost every post. I don't know what to make of it. I am not sure on the scumhunting because of this barrier I see. It just makes me think scum putting up a barrier.

So like, the opening was scummy af. He was clearly making up reads and he was stumbling over them, and he never actually went back to look at either 1915 or 1917 to check my meta he went off of memory. And that led to him screwing up regarding me making early content and I slammed him for that. but that meshes with the style he was attempting, tbh. They weren't supposed to be real reads

And I remember thinking at the time that his reads list was shit, and I was kind of in the headspace that enter was scum and that perhaps he was telling nmsa to stfu and just post some reads (and enter had said he was assuming day talk, which made me think there probably is day talk)

but looking back at it, it reads super relaxed. wordings like "my own reads confuse me sometimes" and sticking with the brig vote are probably not in his scum range. Also the reads, while surface level aren't stretched at all. They're not strong reads, and he's not pretending they are, anymore. Which really jives with my understanding of his play.

He hasn't produced much of anything since, but from his perspective and play time he's not winning this 1v1, right? I'm thinking demotivated town

You even say he is making up reads, why would he be making up reads as town in this situation? That's a natural evolution of his town play?

I think you went back here reread his posts and basically went. "Too bad to be scum" so Newb Town. Otherwise explain to me how when called out on his reads being fake, his reasoning being surface. Theres like three things I see when I read NMSA ISO:
1) he was being incredibly fake early game
2) he isn't producing a trackable thought process and you could probably throw a dart at the board and that is how NMSA made reads and justified them later.
3) he is being dumb by standing by bad reads he knows are bad.

1 and 2 are suspicious. And 3 is not really alignment indicative to me.

Well theres that but I had arguments on Ank scum before those arguments and the crux of it is the fakeness to positions. I think the best thing she has going for her is that her tone doesn't seem fake in certain areas, which I consider not alignment indicative. But others she takes these stances and they will be fake. Good liars usually contribute a little bit of truth in every lie they give. So you see these positions and you think about them and they don't appear in alignment with the posts themselves. I can't explain it better than that.

Look at the latest with Ank. We have this position she takes where she says she death tunnels a lot. Probably true, I doubt scum lie about it, but then she says she can "back it off". Now these statements together don't make sense. And goes along with the narrative she is crafting in game during the time when me and her were going at it. She knew how she could position herself in the best light her was taking the cool and collected and reasonable person. She even made in my mind one of the scummiest post trying to get me to stop my push by saying "I am giving you a chance here" and framed it in a way where she basically couldn't really lose. If I continue, I am the unreasonable person. If I stop she wins by not having me stop. That wasn't a real olive branch that was a Xanatos gambit.

When she realizes she is going to lose nothing because I officially lost public support, she votes me. Showing how false it all really was. Its not complicated what is going on. If I get lynched she isn't going to get focused for it tomorrow because by public opinion we are at a moment where everyone sees me as the crazy person. No one will get the brunt focus. My read will not be taken seriously. She will escape any focus because of the lynch here.

Why would I need to get more favor now that I have support from the people that were scumreading me rather than when everybody was scumreading me?

It's nonsensical for me to spend so much time provoking people who are already scumreading me and not trying to turn those reads around until the pressure at least somewhat gets off of me, and then later put on the pocketing act when I'm getting the wagon I've been pushing for half the game.
