Wagon was a sharp turn from shoshin/jingle team paranoia and had incredible speed. Other notable events were Shoshin/DT fight and EE/Jingle back and forth. DDL complained about wagon speed, as did Vedith maybe? Can't remember Vedith's contribution, tbh.

Clarification, she's playing similarly. I'm not thinking she's lockscum, but she's still the best info lynch, so I don't really care to try to figure that out.

Like, I have a really good read on catching really good players who are not being engaged in the thread as well as they should be if they were town.

For those of you know the likes of Bopolis, Wiggles, Knights, Achromatic, Dyachei, etc, I have like 100% scum read on legendary town players who are not really "actively" trying to catch scums when they were wolfing. Not like activity-wise active, more like, are they engaging with people in the thread and trying to solve everyone's slots?

I did townread him Day 1, and it went kinda stale Day 2, but he has been mostly out of my focus for most of Day 2.

First thought on seeing that no one died was that scum would try to frame Prince as mafia, even if just to discredit his reads (since that's probably more powerful than flipping him and having everyone sheep his reads postmortem). Alisae backing off so quickly reads more like overzealous town though. I'll sheep Prince on his read in this slot for now, because I'm not entirely sure how to read it.

Going after Jingle out of all of Shoshin's reads is odd, and I think he's town. However, as long as we're on the sheeping Shoshin's reads train, DDL is also town.

Lycan (which is Ankamius btw guys we have replacements) and Clemency are both fine lynches, I think mcqueen is scummier than Clemency though. And Ank/Lycan is worse than mcqueen.

Ank, I need you to start posting something of substance because your catch-up questioning mode looks extremely empty. I think DT is town because I liked his/her comment to Reiuji, his/her pushing of Eagle to clarify, and his/her pushing of Shoshin to respond.

I also think people are mistaken in evaluating the overreaction. I think it is much more likely to come from town.

Also shoshin, 3 things I should clarify from my perspective

1. NAI does not equal 'both town and scum do it'. Both scum and town do it means there is sometimes town motivation and there is sometimes scum motivation. That you can analyze. NAI are things that are entirely independent from alignment, such as being busy in real life, not reading a role PM, being bad at math etc.

2. Some actions are inherently anti-town. I don't care that some player in some niche scenario was once able to get something good out of it. The reality is an anti-town action is just bad for town 99% of the time, and in that 1% rare chance, I guarantee that there are alternative ways to achieve the same thing.

3. If someone does something scummy and ends up flipping town it is not my responsibility to townread such behavior in the future. It is their responsibility to not repeat it.

Pedit - fine by me.. I'll stick to only the first 3 reasons for townreading DT just as long as everyone else also doesn't scumread the AtE

I've played with Jingle town and Jingle scum several times in the past and he's always had a drastically different tone than when he's played this game. The way I've been trying to read him is by reading what he decides to push and why since that's how I was able to correctly realize I shouldn't be townreading him in police academy, but I need to be sure that I can read him along that same metric when he is playing much more loosely than in any other game I've seen him in.

It's not me trying to get a read on him, it's me making sure I can in the first place.

I remember something Xtoxm did originally pinged really town but that response indicates otherwise? the way he completed ignored the self-vote thing and then only commented on the policy lynch thing before vanishing again could come from scum that doesn't quite know how to respond to the sudden drama convincingly, the DT vote is... interesting though, DT is a lot scummier than shoshin in this exchange but it looks like the opposite in the moment so him specifically going that direction looks better in hindsight for me

DT's posting towards the beginning of the game is gross in general, but specifically 304 and 315 are pretty bad, plus the blowup afterwards was a level of extreme that looked fake

FA is firmly town from how she joins the Shoshin wagon and her general thoughts on it

I'm going to go through the first 20 pages without any ISO after this post, but I ISO'd DT when I joined this game, and one thing I noticed in a lot of his posts is that he said a lot of nothing and especially fillered a ton.

There were a lot of pointless posts and quote from him--too many to quote myself, and he kept on fillering until the day he requested replacement. It's something that anyone could notice after 30 seconds of ISO'ing since it's so blatant.

I don't know anyone's meta or behavior so it's not something I think I can use to vote Dannflor's slot, but it's definitely something I dislike. I tend to always get rid of people who filler heavily out of my games earlier rather than later since those type of players are usually the type of players who will cause more harm than good in the endgame.

my vedith townread up to that point is somewhat direct, but a lot of it is from the way the wagon on BuJ was handled; namely that I'm also townreading BuJ and the way the wagon formed was sketchy (this is the wagon that grapes easily slid onto after feeling the need to justify a Shoshin vote earlier btw)

it looks like an easy out wagon and iirc there wasn't really much support for BuJ before Vedith started that, so I think it's far more likely that either grapes was the only scum that hopped onto it or it was DDL+grapes

Like, I have a really good read on catching really good players who are not being engaged in the thread as well as they should be if they were town.

For those of you know the likes of Bopolis, Wiggles, Knights, Achromatic, Dyachei, etc, I have like 100% scum read on legendary town players who are not really "actively" trying to catch scums when they were wolfing. Not like activity-wise active, more like, are they engaging with people in the thread and trying to solve everyone's slots?

The posts she's making here and the empty reads she's giving out while refusing to interact with me and trying to justify her fixation of tunneling me feels like a good player trying to play poorly on purpose.

Xtox is town. He easily could have stayed on my wagon if he were scum but he's thinking steps deeper. He caught what I was doing (building a wagon) & moved off as soon as he saw DT's scummy reaction. His earlier posts were already townish but this solidifies the read for me.

but for a reaction test you've never used first hand im just a little more pinged by the overconfidence here. Xtom voting you and then dt isn't what I'd call a deep thought process but more a thing that he did.

DT's likely scum. I don't see town DT responding this strongly to a self-vote when he knows that townies do it all the time. His inability to keep straight whether he's pushing me as a PL or pushing me as scummy scum feels like scum who wants me to get lynched for the self-vote but doesn't want to seem scummy for exclusively pushing a PL. He's also blatantly buddying up to EE in ways that feels like scum/town.

This read I'm not sure if I have Jingle's backing on though I would certainly appreciate it if I did. I have already explained why I strongly felt PenguinPower's contributions to the game were town, but then we come to Ankamius.

Effort may not equal alignment, but the resulting content of that effort most certainly does. In other words, Ankamius came into this game and hit the floor running, producing a stream of content continuously, unprompted. She had no incentive to do this; she was under only minimal pressure and with only minor levels of suspicion. And furthermore, as the game has progressed, the suspicion she did have has vanished; the strong posting didn't taper off after that and if anything only grew stronger.

The content she is giving shows strong, independent thought, where she is actually trying to give useful, unique thoughts and shed her own perspective on matters. There is a clear evolution in her reads which you can track as she progresses along. She has grown more and more confident and pushed things harder and harder the more she has gotten into the game.

If she were pun, this behavior would burn her out fairly rapidly; she doesn't have the force of personality to be a "town leader" as pun for any extended length of time. And yet here she is, pushing away.

Look back to where Shoshin/DT were the primary wagons.

BuJ was on the Shoshin wagon first, and grapes hopped onto the wagon later with awkward justification tacked on. He didn't want to look opportunistic with hopping on that wagon since he had to have known that if that had gone through, the wagon would have been put under a microscope by the rest of the town and his vote would stick out like a sore thumb otherwise.

I assume grapes panicked when the BuJ wagon started up, because his vote on there was much more aggressive and 'emotional' than the rest of his posting.

grapes then vanished from the thread and held his vote on the BuJ wagon, which was relatively safe to do since it wasn't really moving and worst case, he'd look better if it DID start gaining traction towards a lynch because of how aggressive he was.

grapes pretty blatantly panicked when the wagon on him started, the post he made trying to attack eagle is proof enough of that.
