pretty comfortable as both. I play town like i play mario kart and scum like i play zombies

I'm pretty okay at not getting lynched sometimes. I'm pretty bad at staying engaged when the game gets boring. Like, Large themes are my jam; but come with the price of almost always dragging at some point usually somewhere in the middle where I'm bound to become that traveling merchant that comes with the most precious and cool shit but once every other blue moon.

I can argue a point on a dime I suppose


Not too up to date on the current meta (last competed game was last year sometime and I've only played like 4 maybe 5 games in the past 2 or 3 years..) But my one complaint would probably be things getting way too serious and sometimes personal. Which is funny and sad because my second choice for what I'm not so good at would be taking things too seriously.

I'm familiar with a good chunk of names here... but im pretty sure just lycanfire, gamma, extrapolated eagle, vedith and xtom have been in a game with me before.

Xtox is town. He easily could have stayed on my wagon if he were scum but he's thinking steps deeper. He caught what I was doing (building a wagon) & moved off as soon as he saw DT's scummy reaction. His earlier posts were already townish but this solidifies the read for me.

but for a reaction test you've never used first hand im just a little more pinged by the overconfidence here. Xtom voting you and then dt isn't what I'd call a deep thought process but more a thing that he did.

DT's likely scum. I don't see town DT responding this strongly to a self-vote when he knows that townies do it all the time. His inability to keep straight whether he's pushing me as a PL or pushing me as scummy scum feels like scum who wants me to get lynched for the self-vote but doesn't want to seem scummy for exclusively pushing a PL. He's also blatantly buddying up to EE in ways that feels like scum/town.

And could you unpack this a bit more?

I think my confidence gets interpreted as overconfidence sometimes because people expect women to be less confident. I hope that isn't you. Whatever the case, I have experience sorting reactions to self-votes so this isn't something new. I just can't remember if I've done them myself.

As for Xtox, asking himself whether DT's reaction was scummier than my self-vote requires more thought than ignoring reactions to the self-vote. The fluidity in his change was especially towny. Are you scumreading Xtox?

Guess what I'm saying is; what's so megatown about a thought process you can gather in full from about 5 words no questions asked?
fair enough; I catch myself paying attention to hesitation too.


And yea as far a xtox goes I'm more paranoid for sure; for starters I can't tell if him expecting me to be obv-town in three posts when I clearly hadn't even read the game yet is him as town excited to sort me or scum trying to "box out" a threat real quick. And while it's early for this my crazy brain is telling me ya'll aren't scum/scum though I'm still mostly feeling you out anyways so blah

Until recently it felt like the best place for my vote. I'm still iffy on your reads but I'm gonna swim in my brain a bit about if it's scum you tmi-ing or town you talking for effect and me over-analyzing.

I don't know how in your world a hammer vote equates to leading a mislynch.

Gonna be honest here I was going from memory and forgot I was a utility lynch (maybe because to this day I still don't really understand why it happened :p)

but after going through your iso there you never really came around to town-reading me (matter of fact you thought I was scum most of the game) until i started viciously flailing about to get lynched as a cop mad close to EG (and even then you ultimately ended up voting me so even there I'm being too forgiving)

I don't know what you're looking for, Grapes. DT's pushing a mislynch on me by emphasizing stuff he calls "anti-town" while ignoring extensive evidence that this stuff isn't AI for me. He's also been unclear about whether he's pushing a PL or pushing me because he thinks I'm flipping scum.

I mean like I'd be voting dt right now if I thought he was doing anything close to

But what it seems to me is that he was just pushing a policy lynch on a scumread like it doesn't have to be a mutually exclusive thing ya know?

I'm just giving you the benfit of the doubt and want you to spell out for me (i need to be spoonfed- something you all should get used to sooner rather than later) where you think he's doing this between the lines if that makes sense. Cuz those are the kinda scum cases I fuck with... but like I said I just don't see that happening.

Jingle at least trying to dig that far into eagle's vedith tunnel isn't something you see from scum too much[glad he did because it really brought to light how contrived it turned out to be in spots like; nitpick the read.
