Why would I cite experience w/him if I didn't have any?
And why are you so concerned with protecting your alt? If I wanted to guess people's identities I would've watched "Masked Singer" all the way though.- GrandWazoo

It was a play on the "L-2 is the new L-1" comment. It was clear that wagon would stall after Insom repped out.In post 244, u r a person 2 wrote:Why did you give intent to vote Insomnia if you wanted alacrity- GrandWazoo

Reading is hard.In post 277, nomnomnom wrote:Urap does have a point: strange to vote this when you gave intent on Insom.
This is what I said.
Urap and Nomnom conveniently ignore the second sentence of this post. My vote on Alacrity is not "strange" as it only reiterates and reinforces a pre-existing read. If y'all could stop misrepping me that would be great. In post 194, GrandWazoo wrote:Declare intent to put Insomnia L-1. What this world is coming to

It's all of a piece with 38 41 and 44. I can't find a single reason why town would play this "guess my main" game. I can think of a very good reason why scum would. Even when directly asked about it, she ducks 205.In post 286, themilkcartonkid wrote:@Grand Wazoo, could you define what pings you about this post. @Alacrity:
By keeping your main a secret you are denying us the chance to compare your present play with your town/scum meta. A town player would welcome such scrutiny.I don't understand why scum specifically would engage that point the way I did, but town would not. I thought that entire engagement was self-evident, so it is entirely possible that something got lost in translation.
I did not answer your question because there really is not any reason to. Revealing why I want this alt to be secret would be counter-productive, as it would drastically reduce the amount of players that it can apply to. I quite like this alt, I would like to keep using it. =)
Transparency is only counter-productive to scum.- GrandWazoo

You can't enter the game proudly declaring your alt, daring ppl to guess who it is, then complain because someone actually wants to know.In post 355, nomnomnom wrote:

Like, I can think of a lot of reasons why you would want to start an alt or in general start a new account and remain secret, that are not related to the game at all. Clearly she does not want to be recognized, so why press the issue for this long?
Like honestly I can't say if he's being invasive because he MUST know who Alacrity are so he will press the issue ad infinitum, or if there's something more to it.- GrandWazoo

No, you insinuated that my Alacrity vote came out of nowhere. It clearly didn't.In post 366, u r a person 2 wrote:First of all, it wasn't a misrep. I asked a question.
Again, I was riffing on Penguin's remark. Not a great riff maybe. I certainly didn't worry about a quickhammer by NM or anyone else since I was already SR Insomnia.I saw that you had been scum reading alacrity
but I also Saw that you didn't want to vote insomnia because you were worried about a quickhammer
First, I knew the wagon would fall apart because they always do in that situation. Second, I didn't read Insom's rep-out post until after I posted the lame "intent" which was careless on my part. :shrug:This sounds like you were giving half-hearted support to a wagon you didn't really believe in, and without any real purpose because you thought the wagon would fall apart anyway.
Because there's more than one scum in the game obviously. I'm still sus of both slots. Feeling a little better about yours tho - this sounds more like town!Urap. And if that's how you felt about Insomnia, then I REALLY don't understand why your vote wasn't on alacrity to begin with?
What's your read on NM? Are occasional shit-takes and naked votes just his meta?- GrandWazoo

And you actually scum read insomnia
And you were actually supportive of the wagon, which you thought was about to collapse
So you riffed on Penguin's remark instead of voting because you thought that was the best way to stop the wagon from breaking apart?
Seriously bro, you're obsessing over what I didn't do, why I didn't do it and when. This is basically what you accuse me of doing with Alacrity - making a big deal over nothing.- GrandWazoo

I missed this post at the time. Reading it several times now I still can't parse that second sentence. I was SR Insom and youIn post 461, Alacrity wrote:
I agree with u r a person 2 here, but for a different reason than he brought forward! The actual issue with your posting around this point is how you went about the read trajectories. It is dissonant to say that wagons always fall apart on a player that has just requested replacement when your immediate response to set up a trajectory on another slot while acting like the initial wagon is going to continue. In post 367, GrandWazoo wrote:First, I knew the wagon would fall apart because they always do in that situation. It tells me that you are not following a consistent thought process.beforehis rep out. After Insom flaked I voted you because it was the only viable wagon remaining at the time. My "read trajectory" didn't immediately change, or change at all, just my vote. It doesn't mean I don't intend to revisit Insom's slot whenever the replacement re-engages in the game.
Maybe what you call dissonance I call the ability to maintain two separate but not mutually exclusive theories in my head.- GrandWazoo

My townbloc is Urap, pp, nomnom and MCK. Scum Alac, Locke and Roster. Everyone else null.In post 586, u r a person 2 wrote:GW, what are your reads at this point?
I agree that the flow of this game feels odd, but the argument that it means this wagon must be scum driven because I'm on it is not compelling fmpov (lol)
If not GW, I think I want Eragon, Jay, or Locke today- GrandWazoo

Finally got a chance to read Eragon catch up. Reminds me of when I'd turn in a massive term paper 2 hrs before it's due, knowing the prof had neither time nor desire to read the damn thing. It's got lots of content, and lots of footnotes, it must be good!
Alas, his SR on me centers almost entirely on the Alacrity-alt business, which I dropped literally 15 pages ago and have no intention of revisiting. Is this a scummy push? More to the point, would scum continue to bang on at length about this, thereby drawing unwanted attention? Or is this more likely to come from a bullheaded town? I mean, I ask myself this all the time and it's usually the latter.
As I explained elsewhere, "Riff" means a joke in this context.
It was Nathan Hale, not Nathaniel Greene, who said "I only regret that I have but one life to lose for my country."
I agree with most of these townreads, with the exception of Elsa and NM. Evidently to get townread by Eragon your playstyle must either be "fun" or YOLO. NM is unlynchable it seems. Elsa's ISO is really bad.
