I have indeed rolled scum twice before this. I actually have rolled town once as well but I went inactive in that game. I was Town Doctor too and I had never been Town Doc before and was super excited to try it out. But stuff happened and I didn't have time to post here. C'est la vie.

I'm sensing that you are slightly frustrated that I haven't moved my RVS vote. Which is fair I get that. I did state earlier that I thought your interaction with saladman seemed slightly SvS and seemed like you were coaching him. Ironically enough you have put forth a similar hypothesis about Voted and their scum partner being an SE coaching them to defend themselves. Which is interesting. In my last game, I did nothing but sheep and complain about how hard it is to play this game — ended up basically setting up my own mislynch, if not for the game ending right then and there . What makes you feel that Navneet is scummy?

It's less that I'm reading him as scummy than just being second in my order of progression. Little things like his defensive interaction with RCE and his play being similar to his scum games' meta. Scumlean.

I'm loathe to policy lynch salad just for being bad at scumreading/being lurky, etc, because I did just that in my only other game. It's different when you have had no prior mafia experience, which most other newbies on this site at least have had on different platforms. It's reasonable to lynch in any other setup, but this is a Newbie game, and the aim is to help newbies segue into the MS meta.

I think Nav is more likely scum. Both have scum equity but salad is going to be an extremely easy push for scum if he's town in a Mylo situation where it actually matters.

Like MJL pointed out, that was a newbie slip that I remedied immediately. I was also inactive sitewide during most of D2 and only had enough time to get my vote on my top scumread before the day ended

- We are assuming setup A1 or A3 if Nav's claim is true

- Higher probability that the scum setup is RBer + Goon.

This game actually taught me quite a bit and it was a real pleasure playing with all of you.

I know I still need to work on stuff, mainly refraining from appearing overrelaxed as scum (a mistake I made more times than I cared to admit), PR hunting, being less lurky, being less defeatist, and overall just getting more practice so I can better handle the pressure as either alignment. I'm still learning!

So TTTT picked the same post from MKM as a cop soft, day 1 I tried to like jump on top of it and move eyes the other way. Then TTTT comes out day 2 and immediately goes "Vedith kill probably means roleblocker" and I played up how town he was because I thought he was doc that saved Vedith N1 and got blocked.

So all in all spot on reads lol.

You're completely right — I definitely felt like I was 99% caught at that point and my inexperience hindered me from going all out D4. Not to mention that, like TTTT said, mechanically speaking the game was lost for me. I knew TTTT was doc and Datisi was JK, and even if I got MJL lynched like I planned it would still be unwinnable. I just didn't even know where to begin defending myself/putting pressure on another player, especially with my scumpartner dead. Navneet pretty much carried me here.
