Idk what to think about speculation over who Voted's hypothetical scumbuddy would be, other than that it all kinda evaporates if you allow for the possibility that Scum!Voted isn't Level 0 scum. Based on my one entire game of experience on this website, I'm more inclined to see getting antsy during RVS as a non-tell though.

Yeah, I agree with this too. I'd have felt differently about the interaction if RCE had been talking directly to Voted and the interaction had gone the same way, but Salad unvoting + responding to a question pretty clearly meant for somebody else strikes me as more "Salad is kinda defensive" than "Salad is trying to shift a vote off a scumpartner"

For what it's worth, if you are town then engaging with the thread is the best thing you can do. Even if you don't really know what to do, just interacting with everybody and participating is a step towards learning what to do. Which is something everyone here's working on to some degree or other.

So... With all the Salad/Voted/RCE votes going on, you never changed your vote. Are you thinking about changing it? What made you stick?

I don't really like to move my vote unless I feel I've found a good spot for it or if there's some other sensible reason. Only time I really felt motivated to vote was on Voted earlier on, but they were already at L-2 when I got home from work that night and my read on Voted's only weakened since then.

Not super jazzed about the Salad wagon right now since regardless of alignment, he does just seem disengaged from what's going on right now. There's some sense in pushing it in order to try to motivate him more and flesh out proper reads, but I'm skeptical that it'll accomplish much. That's why I tried to talk to Salad earlier, because I got the sense they'd respond better to a good cop kinda approach.

At the moment I'm trying to figure out how I feel about the SEs, and my gut's telling me that should be my highest priority.

I actually fundamentally disagree with this. A disengaged player, town or scum, hurts the game state. He's an easy push for scum to make if he is town and remains this way. Better to sort that early imo.

To clarify, I'm not particularly opposed to a Salad lynch at this point in time, and I overall agree with you here and with the post you made earlier. Part of the reason I wasn't enthusiastic about it at the time was the thought that I'd have trouble sorting people afterward if Salad flipped town.

Did you explain your reasons of townlean on CC. Doesn't have to be today just curious.

I didn't, but I can. While I don't agree with everything Clarity's said, it's all pretty well within the range of what I'd expect her to be saying and doing. Helps that I've known her for several years offsite.

Yep. I won't claim to be able to read her particularly well or anything since this is only our second game together, but the fact that her tone's hasn't thrown up any red flags for me counts as a plus in my book.

As an example, I didn't agree with her suspicion of Navneet based on that back-and-forth with RCE earlier, but it reminded me a lot of something she did as town in our other newbie game together.

I'm glad my shitty tr on Clarity and my accidental pr soft didn't end up botching the game. Didn't realize the SEs were taking it that way until around the end of Day 1 and figured it'd be antitown to try and correct them on the off chance I ended up baiting a nightkill. Will definitely choose my words more carefully in the future
