How to play this setup:

Step 1: Scumhunt

-Don't quickhammer. Quickhammering in this setup is SUPER bad for town. If somebody quick hammers, policy lynch them.
-Seriously, policy lynch them. It doesn't matter if you 'don't think they'd hammer there as mafia' - if you want to win you need to punish scumsided play like this so scum can't wiggle around and try to mess with the setup
-If somebody claims vanilla town, lynch them. That's the only role except for the one that mafia can't counterclaim unless they're in lylo.
-Getting multiple claims from multiple people during the day is awful play. If we get to the point where somebody is claiming, we have to commit and lynch them.
-If you are the public cop, you scumhunt during the day.

Step 2: What to do if somebody claims public cop before lylo:

-Don't lynch the person who claimed that day.
-Don't counterclaim if you are the real public cop and the person claiming is mafia. You're a PUBLIC cop, so play like it.
-The person who claimed public cop declares who they are investigating: If that person isn't investigated, and the person who claimed public cop is still alive, we have a mafia.
-There is no downside to the above strategy. The worst case scenario is that they are telling the truth and the cop themself is killed - it's never optimal for mafia to try to shoot the person they declared they would be investigating.

Step 3: Lylo

-Public cop claims
-If there is a counter claim, lynch outside of the claim
-The public cop should check their counterclaim as they are the only mafia alive if we make it out of this day
-If we make it to lylo and the public cop is alive town has a

Here's what NOT to do:

-Don't fakeclaim public cop as town.
-Yes even if you're about to be lynched. DON'T DO IT. You get lynched the next day and the real public cop works off false associatives for their next check, overall disadvantaging the town.
-Don't claim public cop as public cop before lylo when you're not about to be lynched.
-Don't claim VT if you haven't either been publicly checked already or are being run up.
-Don't make it obvious that you are a VT by calling for cop checks on people.
-Even 1-2 people claiming VT swings this hugely in mafia's favor. If you claim VT for no reason, you will probably be lynched, and most definitely disadvantage the town.
-Don't tell the public cop where to check if you're a VT. Don't do it if you're a public cop either, you're not clever.
-There's literally no reason to be discussing what the public cop should be doing during the day, and it helps mafia to cop hunt.
-Don't out your 'cop read', don't say not to lynch someone because you think they're cop either - seriously that doesn't help.
-Don't crumb as public cop.
-If you don't know what to do, just scumhunt - don't mess around with the mechanics or try to suggest the cop should do stuff, and don't try to outsmart the mafia. This isn't that kind of setup, it's VERY straightforward and you end up playing yourself and the rest of the town.

I figured mafia was likely to be off the wagon - so Flubber, Zulfy, or Schadd

I looked at interactions between these players and Oversoul, Flubber was saying Oversoul was town for being voted near a lynch after having already proclaimed a townread on Oversoul, then he 'kinda' thinks Oversoul is town, then he hasn't played with oversoul for a while but remembers them obvtowning easily.

The next day, at day start, they immediately point to luv and he says luv looks like scum with oversoul from interactions
