I don't followIn post 78, popsofctown wrote:Post 74 reeks. Very disingenuous reaction to a self-imposed post restriction. No actual town frustration with having an "unreadable" slot, or policy Lynch stance, or constructive words of any kind, just "don't lynch me when I refuse to play 12.5% of my mafia this game, thanks in advance".Aalt of Something_Smaart.- Aa

I would bet that the people you played with are the exception rather than the rule.In post 89, Egduf wrote:popsofctown - Slightly Mafia
They seem overly agressive, and willing to jump on any reason to scum read people. Someone mentioned this could just be a difference in playstyle, but in my (small) expiriance people who play like this are normally scum.
Most people play equally aggressively as both alignments but the ones who don't are generally more aggressive as town. Being overly conciliatory is more often a scum trait.Aalt of Something_Smaart.- Aa

Compromise. Give it to a nullread. Someone who you wouldn't lynch but who also probably wouldn't die.In post 93, popsofctown wrote:I'm confused about whether the crown should go to a scumread or a townread, now. Since crown ownership will be public and the scum can just NK whoever got the crown. Are crown abilities going to be like sane cop to punish us for giving the crown to a townread, or will it be publishing cop and 1-shot BP and roleblocker to reward us for giving the crown to a townread?Aalt of Something_Smaart.- Aa

I mean, I don't, but on top of that even if I did, a lot of times wagoning someone can make them and/or others harder to read, plus there's a risk of a premature derphammer or lolhammer. In post 268, gameplay506 wrote:Don't see a reason not to. Fair point, a good D1 lynchpool is usually closer to 1/3 of the players than 1/2.

Might be better to get it down to two, but I think that decision would really be arbitrary.
Besides, my late D1 method is usually to support any wagon on a player I don't townread.Aalt of Something_Smaart.- Aa

This is kinda what I was getting at; the CIA crumb could have easily been spun as a tracker or cop crumb. It seems like he was keeping his options open with it.In post 411, popsofctown wrote:Not to litigate how to play Password or Codenames too much but pop culture emphasizes the CIA's violent outcomes more heavily especially the show 24. In reality I bet they do a lot more investigative work.Aalt of Something_Smaart.Copyright © MafiaScum. All rights reserved.
